6 months long wait and then disappointed.

Well in simple words big time cheaters!! I used their services while relocating from india to usa. They charged hefty amount ~1000$ to shop 4 large size cartons. From first day onwards they started cheating, after picking up boxes they sent me different invoice upon calling they said boxes are expanded and hence I need to pay more. After I reached usa I enquired about boxes they said will take time stuck at custom and all and then no communication. One morning while checking email I got know from ups that boxes are arriving, when I opened the box all stuff was in bad shape. Looked like somebody opened the boxes and took out costly items like Sony boombox, 8" photo frame etc. Also boxes were handled so roughly that so many decorative and crockery was in pieces. Cloths were all wet etc When I reached out to person who helped me to arranged pickup he kept me on hold for 6 months Jan end till July 2019 just to say below -
Across the industry the moving company is not liable for any claims in absence of any kind of insurance. Moreover, insurance for items in the shipment is not possible if the moving company does not pack them. For self-pack shipments the insurance company does not insurance the shipments against such risks.
My question to them was simple if that is the case then why they don't inform upfront that no insurance is covered, their charges are high it is expected that some insurance they should provide or atleast let customer know so that they can buy based on itmes value.
Second thing why did they kept on telling me that they are working on it. Idea was to keep things on hold so that I will forget?
Big time liars friendly advice don't use their services.
