I Beg You, Don't Use.
I am writing this review because All Americans Moving Company is the owner of the movers I used, US Moving Team.I will begin by saying that they were 3 hours late, that should have been my first clue that this was not going to be a good choice of movers. I hired US Moving Team to box all of my things in NJ, and then drive it to my destination in Florida. When they did arrive they were shocked that they were suppose to box all of my things. I was told that the quote I had gotten which was in the neighborhood of (by a broker) was only for taking my things to Florida. After telling me that the entire move would cost me $8,000 I said that they could leave. The manager and I came to an agreement of $6200. It took 3 guys 14 1/2 hours to box my things. I tipped the fourman $200 and each of the other guys $100. A great tip. We are not in Florida. The trucks arrives and they unpacked..almost everyone of my pieces of furniture came terribly scratched, pieces coming off, broken glass, broken handles, or just completely broken where I had to throw it out. I was missing antiques glassware, wrought iron $100 shelving, 4 of them, all of my pots and pans, treasured things from my childhood, PLEASE, DONT DO IT.
Don't ever use - wish I had read up on them prior.
I needed a canopy bed, mattress and boxspring disassembled from my current home, delivered to my aunt-in-laws apartment and then reassembled. And I had scheduled my new bed to arrive at my home from another company that same morning.
Fail #1
I confirmed with them 4 times that they could do Saturday early morning so that the delivery of my new bed (from another company) which was scheduled for 3 hours later would make for a nice seemless transition. After not getting to us on time, I called/texted and they didn't pick up to even let me know that they were running late.
Fail #2
So while I was waiting, I decided to do most of the disassembly myself until I couldn't due to lack of tools. I finally got a call back from "Greg" if that's even his name) 2.5 hours later who then asked for my address even though my wife had given it to him on the many communications prior. I told him what I had done and that he needed special tools to do the work - he assured me he had tools and that they were on their way.
Fail #3
They showed up 3.5 hours late. Greg tells me that he's really sorry but that "the company" never told him when and that he isn't part of the company. This meant the new bed/truck/delivery team were only 20 minutes away. They arrived and surveyed the scene to look at what they were dealing with. Then I got a call from the new delivery team that they were in my development and parking.
Fail #4
So Greg realized that I was going to be in a bind and asked me for payment - in cash - because he claimed that their card machine wasn't working.
Fail #5
Then while they were trying to disassemble the bed his other worker tells me that they don't have the tools needed. Luckily the new delivery team was able to figure something out without the special tools = use a hammer and elbow grease. Then they were basically standing around instead of taking the existing mattress and boxspring out to their car while the new bed was being delivered.
Fail #6
Finally the new bed was installed and the new delivery guys had left when these idiots got all the stuff in their truck. Then they asked me where it was going to be delivered (for the 3rd time).
Fail #7
He then asked me to sign the delivery slip before he delivered. I said no, and that my aunt would once it was done. And then in my haste to get him the F out of there, I never got a receipt for the cash I paid him
Fail #8
Fast forward to where they are delivering to at my aunt-in laws apartment. Instead of delivering the materials and assembling the bed, they called to tell me that they couldn't find parking and to ask my aunt to come down.. then my aunt calls and says they left the bed, mattress, and boxspring in the entrance to her apartment building and left.
Total f-ing scam. Everyone upset. Didn't deliver remotely to what they asked. DO NOT HIRE.
Scammers.
Never ever hire this company. They are scammers. The quote was for $85/Hr for 3 men and truck inclusive of all taxes. The person on the phone mentioned I have to pay only Tolls and Gas. But after the move, we ended paying $700 for 4 hours of work. They charged us 15% service tax, $50 for one flight stairs, $85 travel time, $40 gas. This was never mentioned when they quotted initially.
Never ever use All Americans Moving.
Never ever ever ever never use this company. They broke my furniture, by dropping it off the truck. The owner said he would pay. He lies lies and never paid. He does not speak English at all. He is about to get deported. Does not honor the contact.. Stay very far away unless you want to pay for a company who will break your furniture.

I am contacting you regarding the move that I scheduled with your company, All Americans Moving Company (AAMC), on Thursday, Nov. 5. Your moving company shares their address. This correspondence serves as a preface to me contacting the Better Business Bureau (BBB)as well as posting negative reviews to Angie’s List, Yelp, and other possible feedback outlets. Your business failed to honor our verbal contract. We spoke via telephone and communicated via text message to confirm details, which ended up being falsified information. Please read below.
1. Your web site (pasted below) indicates that you are BB certified, which is false.
2. AAMC outsourced my business the morning of the move and did not notify me. Such a business practice involves all previously agreed upon pricing. When I called Anthony about the details noted below, he told me he would call the company directly. I called Anthony five more times that day. He did not pick up at any time. Plus, his voicemail is not set-up, so customers cannot leave a message.
3. The agreement was for a 4-man crew at $99 an hour; however, only 3 people reported to the job where I was notified that the price had changed to $85 per hour.
4. We agreed that I could pay via credit card. I was told that their office was being renovated and for that day only, they could not accept such payment. I had to pay cash. They wanted payment up front, which I refused. I had to pay all cash at the conclusion of the job.
5. Assuming the minimum job time was met (quoted at 3 hours), no travel to/from the job was to be added. Instead, I was charged an additional $85 per hour.
6. I was also told that gas was included in the quote, but I was charged $50 for gas.
7. I was told that I need to pay for the tolls from where we were leaving, to the location that we were going. This ended up being $18 (Exit #9 on the New Jersey Turnpike to Exit #18). However, I was charged another $36 to get to my pick-up spot, then leave the departure place. The driver would not show me any receipts.
8. Insurance was initially included in the move price; however, I was told that it would cost an extra $100 and needed to be paid up front to insure any my items against damage.
9. I was told that supplies were included to wrap items. Instead, the crew said that each couch, mattress, and box spring would cost $30 each.
