Every person I had contact with, from the first calls Kat, Jody, the estimate - Jeff, the 3 great guys moving us (Vic, Davon, Cameron) were professional and did the job with great attitudes! Picked up in Germantown, TN - delivered to 3 places - ending in middle TN.
Years back we had a nightmare of a move!! This was as positive an experience as possible. I recommend them 1000%
Local move.
The 2 gentlemen that did my move were courteous and quick. They called and let me know they were running a little late (which I appreciated). I will definitely recommend and use again if the need arises! Thank you so much.
If you like your stuff, don't use this company.
I used this company to pack a trailer and it was a nightmare of an experience. Two guys showed up to my second-floor apartment with one dolly. It took them 5 hours to load the trailer, which surprised me considering the horrible job they did. They basically threw everything in the trailer, not caring if the box was light or heavy or that a piece of furniture wasn't covered. I proved moving blankets that they didn't use and now I have damage on every piece of wood furniture I own, including my antique coffee table. One of the men left a water bottle in the trailer, completely damaging a box and the contents inside. They took my mattress out of the bag and put it on the trailer floor. When the mattress was taken out of the trailer it was filthy and ripped from the wall and floor of the trailer. The operations manager from this company called me and left a message, he claimed he wanted to hear what happened. I have called 5 times trying to get a hold of him and nothing. This company doesn't care about its customers and I highly recommend you don't use them.
Friendly but careless.
They sent three guys for our move. They were friendly and fast loading and unloading. Total move was about 15 miles. However, they came with no tools to take apart the beds which included two Sleep Number and I had asked about those when I booked. Thus, those two beds were not reassembled correctly or at all at our new house. We called to inform them immediately about the beds and were told they would send someone out. That was 16 days ago. Discovered large chunks of wood out of two nice pieces of furniture which have been moved a number of times with no incident. Still, as of this writing, we have no follow-up. We’re disappointed by the lack of quality customer service and preparedness upon arrival with appropriate tools for the job. Nice staff but poor service and response.
Horrible Move.
His company call Big League needs to go back to the minors ! They are a horrible company!
I have moved 8 times in my life including across country 3 times and have never had the horrible experience that I bad with this company.
This move was no less than a botched abortion.
I had an estate sale before the move so most of my furniture was gone , however I have an extensive home gym that had to be moved. We were only moving about 3 miles away.
After the house was surveyed,the salesman said that they move gyms all the time and they would have no problem disassembling, moving and assembling.
First of all the packers were using only one sheet of paper to wrap fine china until my wife confronted them.
The move was unsupervised since the two leads spent all their time trying to disassemble and reassemble the exercise equipment. There were a lot of things broken, missing, the crews sat in the back of the truck a lot of the time, they caused a water damage in my laundry room, and did not complete the move. They started at 8:30 am and quit at 2am the next morning since the 6 man, two truck crew was not managed.
The exercise equipment was assembled incorrectly . I had to get an exercise company to correct the damage; including taking parts to a machine shop to remove wrong bolts that were seized .
The company had me sign an exercise equipment dis-claimer for moving the equipment, but that does not cover the damage due to their gross negligence or incompetence.
They broke several pieces of outdoor furniture, and several other items. While I went to get air movers due to the water damage, my wife had to get them back to work since they all stopped while I was away.
Now they are not stepping up to the plate to take care of the problems caused by their incompetence.
Carelessly planned and poorly executed.
They dropped my bar and damaged it, and the bar was the main reason I hired movers. They didn't ask enough questions about how heavy/cumbersome the bar is so accordingly they didn't bring the right equipment to move the bar, which is bad enough..but the dressers I had them move within my home ended up being dragged across the floor at some point, so now my hardwood floors are scratched up. These guys didn't even bother to clean up once they were done, leaving dirt and debris on my hardwood floors by the door. Avoid this company at all costs.
Big League movers made things right!
I am following up on a previous review. Previously, I was unhappy with the way that my claim was handled but after speaking with Johnathan Chipman he was able to make the situation better. He did some research and was able to issue me a much better settlement amount. I was happy to find that this company was willing to make things right with a unhappy customer. I am very appreciative to get some good customer satifaction.
My experience was great.
My move went off without one hitch. These guys (Ben, Jordan and Dakota) were right on time, courteous, willing and professional. Trey, who helped me set up my move, was equally helpful and professional. All in all a very good experience. I would recommend Big Leauge Movers to anyone looking for dependable, professional moving services.

Our movers were awesome! Our guys were Reggie, Gilbert, Ben, Marlon and Antwan. I couldn't have asked for better men to work with!! Moving is stressful enough and these guys said from the moment they arrived that I was not allowed to lift a finger. They laughed and worked hard the entire 11 hours they were with my family. Took pride in there job and we made the best out of a tough day. The rain didn't even change there attitudes!
Great Packing and Very Satisfied.
This is the first time I used this company. L. Less and C. Holloway were very prompt and professional. I have several heavy and large pieces. They broke down furniture, wrapped appropriate pieces, and loaded the truck from top to bottom. They did an excellent job wrapping furniture and loading the truck. They worked hard and efficient. I am a Veteran and have relocated numerous times. These guys are among the best. I would highly recommend them and use the company again. Great job guys! You did one heck of a job. Thank you.
Customer Service.
They recently moved my home and it was a total disaster. They broke some of our items, they were not organized and the movers were not experienced. They charged me per piece of furniture so I needed up spending six hours of my own time moving the rest of my house because they were so expensive. They say they are going to refund me, but they have to do that. They lost an entire of box of video games and say they are going to have claims call you but claims never calls you. You are left calling them every day trying to force them to do something for you. .
Can u call a moving company amazing?
Amazing and moving companies usually don't go hand in hand. but these guy were fast, friendly, and courteous. they were late, but only because they put us on the calendar at one of the busiest weekends of the year at the last minute. End of the month, end of the school year. they more than made up for that. it's no exaggeration that they were thoughtful with dealing with placement of furniture and very patient with me. I have three children, 2 under 2 - and they were very sweet with my children. especially my 6 year old. I found myself wanting to grab a beer with these guys after. and their prices beat another friend who just moved. she had half the furniture and time I did. these guys deserve anyones business. so much so that I made time for this review while unpacking a house with 3 kids! .
Big League movers.
I only had a few items but two large furniture pieces. The two men that came were right on time and did a very good job, both picking up and delivering. I asked for non-smokers and that's what I got. The lady I spoke to on the phone was very pleasant and communicated all the info well. The owner called me as a follow-up as the guys were finishing up to see how everything went. I would definitely use them again, but I sure hope I don't have to move again!!
Bad service.
First,it was pouring rain.I called to see if they were still going to pkup,he said yes,rain,snow,etc.If you want to cancel you'll lose your dpt of $75.00.They had no floor protectors or covers for furniture,that rolled thir wet,dirty dollie over my floors & rugs,tracked mud,leaves,depris into both houses,no-one offered to put papers down or even ask if it was ok.They pulled up the carpet in my bedroom to get a armoire out complaining the whole time how heavy it was.Both guys were soaked to the bone,I told them I can't believe they make you work in these conditions.We left the 1st house stopped for lunch,the movers went to the bank,didn't expect that.They unloaded things still tracking debris in new place..they sure moved faster unpacking than they did packing..they wouldn't take the armoire upstairs because it was to heavy,needed someone else to help,so they put in garage and broke 1 of the doors off.Still,no-one said sorry.They told me maybe I could get some friends to take it up there for me.What,that's why they call you the mover's.There were things I wanted in house,I found in garage,things were left behind in old house.They just threw furinture on top of other things in garage,just unbelieveable. I payed $476.20 from door to door(just the move),because Steve threated me if I did not pay,even thou he knew of my concerns and the broken armoire that they would not move upstairs.I have called the owner Steve Reed & Jeff 3 different times with no response from either one them as of today. I would not recommend these guys at all,because they seem to care only about themselves and NOT the customer. If you want to save your money and get professional movers,don't go to BigLeagueMovers.com.
Awful customer service! mover beware!
Terrible and unprofessional sums it up.
Big League movers didn't have the good sense to put the drain hose into the drain on my washer and my apartment flooded. Their reply when I addressed this issue with them. "we're not plumbers and we have a disclaimer on our website". FYI I called ten times and tried to escalate to the owner and NEVER received a call back from anyone. Ironcially when I decided to dispute charges on my credit card they got through in less than 3 hours.
Also Big League Movers had a mirror to my bedroom set for four days and didn't bother to call me and tell me they had it. I didn't notice it was missing for three days since I was dealing with the walls of my apartment being cut out and half a dozen fans and dehumidifiers for the first three days of moving into my new place.
And to top it all off, when they finally did return my mirror I wasn't home and the same guy who didn't put the drain line in was argumentative and rude to my MOTHER disclaiming "we are not liable". She was just there to open the front door and let them drop off the mirror.
