  1. Boyer-Rosene Moving

GREAT SERVICE - Sahib and his crew stepped into our house and got right to work! Protected floors with liners, rapped all furniture, were mindful of floors and walls and asked and answered all our questions. No time was wasted! When they arrived at our new home again they treated our furniture with care. They unwrapped, put back together and arranged furniture to our liking. No matter what we asked of them they were happy to assist. The crew was great to work with!

  2. Cross Country Move.

The team at Boyer-Rosene made my move from Chicago to California less smooth and easy. Every team member, from the sales, to office, to the crews at my homes, were professional, polite, and on time, which was greatly appreciated. My driver, Jim Hill, was a true gentleman and managed the physical move with precision and accuracy. The pricing quote I received prior to to move matched what I was billed and there were no "surprises" when my belongings were delivered, which is common with most movers. The crews in both cities were fast, helpful, and efficient. Communication with the office was clear, concise, and accurate. I've moved 14 times in the past 28 years, and the team at Boyer-Rosen was the best I've ever had. I would never consider another move without them.

  3. Downsizing Move.

My move was a complicated one in that I was moving from a large ranch with a finished basement to a two bedroom apartment. The move involved 3 phases. The first 2 phases were lead by George. Phase 1 involved moving donated furniture and other items. Phase 2 involved moving excess furniture to a storage facility. George and his team were wonderful! They were quick, efficient, professional and sensitive to my concerns. I was so impresses with the way George and his team handled everything. Phase 3 involved moving what was left to my apartment. Romario was the lead and he and his team were great. They handled obstacles, elevator building, a long walk, without complaint and with a great attitude. They were efficient, professional and careful with everything. They placed all the furniture and were communicative, friendly and helpful. I would give both George, Romario and their teams 6 out of 5 stars! A big thank you to them. I would highly recommend Boyer- Rosene for any move. Nancy.

  4. KC to STL to CHI Move.

We had to do a slightly complex move and BR was excellent. The driver Paul ran a tight crew and everything went off without a hitch. The cost, professionalism, and service was outstanding.

  5. Great Moving company!

I was pleased and impressed throughout the entire process. Not only were they competitively priced they were very professional, couteous, and respectful. They took pride and care of the home we sold and moved us into our new home [long distance] with the same pride and caring attitude. The crew and team of guys were fantastic. Moving is stressful. I highly recommend Boyer Rosene if you’re moving locally or long distance for any move. Great company!

  6. Very Positive Experience.

We recently moved from Naperville to San Francisco and I want to share my experience. From beginning to end Boyer-Rosene Bekins did a fantastic job. The salesperson that came out ( Jim Mazzuca) took his time and went through step by step. The driver and crew who came out on moving day (Jim Hill) were also polite and courteous and did everything Jim Mazzuca promised. The best part of the move was when Jim Hill showed up to deliver. We never thought he would be able to back in the truck through our sub division but he did. It was a flawless move. Thank you to everyone who played a part in making our move go smooth. We will definitely recommend the team at Boyer-Rosene Bekins again.

  7. Great Experience.

I had a great experience with this company, I would definitely recommend to friends and family. Utmost professionalism.

  8. Damaged table.

The overall move was fair with some problems caused by the movers lack of communication and little responsibility for my needed timeline. My rating is heavily weighted to the damage of a high end cocktail table. I paid for the most comprehensive insurance which guarantees that my damaged item will be repaired or replaced by the moving company. I filed a claim with the company per their instructions. The claim adjuster sent out a repair person for an estimate. This is a Roche Bobois cocktail table valued around $4,000. The repair estimate was about $2,000. The claims adjuster Jazmin Reese from Bekins sent me a check for $500 allowance hoping this would make me go away. I emailed her that this was not acceptable and have not received a response. The rationale Jazmin Reese used is that the table is still useable. The table was damaged in four to five places by rough handling. This is a clear violation of the insurance terms. I will be filing a complaint will the Better Business Bureau and all agencies that regulate Bekins.

  9. Commercial moving at it's best!

Kevin of Arlington Heights, IL was quick to response and made it so easy. Most pleasant moving experience ever for our office into a high rise building. On time, courteous, excellent communication, AND crystal clear transaction! Absolutely satisfied customer for job done well!

  10. Our home was 3 story (basement incl.).

Movers came approx. on time they said they would with one truck and 4 guys.  Arrived at 9:15 a.m. dicovered they  needed another truck, finished loading at 5:30p.m.  Our new home was 1 1/2 hours away, they finallly arrived at 9:00p.m.  with additional (2) men and finished unloading past midnight.  It was a long day.  Bekin should have judged better on what was needed, but all round the guys were great and we had NO damage.  So we are happy with the results.  Thank You.

  11. Traumatic Experience.

I am writing this review to warn everyone else to STAY AWAY FROM BEKINS VAN LINES or risk a terrible heart ache.  Our move was 13 months ago.  It has taken me this long to want to re-hash the nightmare of our move from Wheaton IL to Redington Shores FL.  This was my 2nd move with Bekins.  The first time was a great experience with movers that did above and beyond expectations. This caused me to schedule a second move with the same company, even though the reviews I read online warned me otherwise. I spoke with the same representative, Jim Mays, both times because of established positive relationship which I had hoped assured continued good moving result.  Sadly, that was not the case. Our household items were packed July 3rd by 2 very nice young men, who organized and marked each of the boxes for proper room placement. On moving day July 5, a "third party" came in to dissemble our billiard table. The movers were 3 men who loaded up the truck.  The driver is from the Tampa area.  I believe his name was Ricky.  He was dark skinned (he didn't sound African American) and he spoke with a rapid, heavy accent. He acted professionally when my husband was in the house.  After my husband left for work, Ricky asked if I was planning to drive out, as in run errands.  I was still doing some last minute packing so I said I was not planning to.  He said he wanted something to drink.  I acquiesced and made a bagel and coffee run. I regret making the effort.   The truck arrived in my FL house on time for the delivery. There were the same driver, but 3 different helpers including a young woman and her "very tired" boyfriend.  Ricky stayed by the truck the entire delivery time.  The 3 helpers did the unloading and placement of the boxes into my house. There were boxes marked for the library that were dropped off in the garage so we ended up hauling heavy book boxes upstairs. To be nice, I offered to buy Subway sandwiches for lunch. Ricky wanted Kentucky Fried Chicken.  I didn't know the area well enough to know one nearby, but a friend of mine offered to look for a KFC to comply with Ricky's request.  He's got my furniture, after all..After "all" my things were unloaded and the truck rolled off, I noticed that rolls of twisted packing tapes were strewn all over the cul-de-sac and blown into my neighbors' landscapes.  I was mortified!  I had to go all over to collect the litter. The next day, the third party who was to assemble my billiard table informed me that we are missing 2 support pieces.  I went through the inventory list with him and noted the absent  2 pieces.  He left without offering to help me resolve the issue.  I called Bekins and their response was a report that Ricky does not have them in his truck as he was on his way to his next move. I think I paid an additional $1000 for the pool table move.  I was reimbursed $300 for all my troubles, which was probably to cover the non-assembly of the pool table. It has taken me many months to finish unpacking and to note several missing several items, including decorative Chinese platter and one of matching pair of Chinese porcelain vases.  Bekins poor response with my pool table did not make me want to deal further with them in anyway.  My stomach still turns in knots each time I see the name BEKINS on a truck. I hope that by writing this warning to others that my nightmares will stop. Additional information on my order sheet: Mover--Boyer-Rosene Moving & Storage Van #285-604  .

  12. Moving and storage.

Mike, lou and pete where pleasant , honest and polite. They here on time interduced themselves and started working immediltlly. There where two items that where damaged and they politly made notes describing the location and the damage property. I believe part of the damage occured in shipping becuased the large container was damaged on the truck before they started to open the vault and the other item may have been laying on its side and maybe damaded.Ifeel the storage representive dropped the ball at the beginning of the storage time in snding out my monthly statment and made it confussing.
