Long distance move.
I'm very impressed by this company. They took care of my long distance move from Virginia Beach to Fort Lauderdale, FL. The movers were very careful with my stuff and very efficient with their work. This is the best moving company I have ever used!
Why Use Any Other Company?
Bust-a-Move moved me for the second time two weeks ago, I had the team consisting of Paul, Martin and Thomas. They took care with my belongings, they were fast, they were friendly and they were efficient. And the cost is very reasonable. The administrative staff went out of their way to accommodate my scheduling needs, moving me on a Sunday morning at no extra charge. I hope I don't have to move again but, should the need arise, this is the company I will be calling.

Excellent Movers!
I hired Bust A Move 24hrs before my need to load only from 2nd flr apt to my rental truck. My biggest need was large furniture, so I only hired 2 men for 2 hrs. Paul and Raul showed up on time, walked thru to see what big items I had and started right in. Within 30 min they had all of my big stuff loaded and started on my regular items and boxes. Within 2 hrs they had all of my boxes and smaller furniture packed too! They wrapped furniture with the blanket I had rented, and also shrink wrapped alot of items. They were AWESOME..AMAZING..200% worth the money!! Nick also called the morning of my move to confirm the movers were on the way, and followed up to make sure everything was satisfactory. Paul and Raul fit all of my 2 bdrm apt items into a 16ft rental truck. I mived 1000 miles and everything remained in tact and in good condition. I will definitely use Bust A Move again, and HIGHLY recommend them. 2 thumbs up..5 stars!!
Watch out for unexpected expenses.
According to them, they were running late (4 hours) because of the previous client and due to traffic. They took their sweet time loading the truck and there were damages to some of my furniture. One of my bed posts and one lamp were severely scratched, the dining table was also scratched the rest was fine but I was not expecting any damages.. While loading, I had to remind them to take the washer and dryer since they forgot all about it.. Since the weather was not cooperating they did send another guy and I was told I was not going to be charged for him. However, since they took longer (there was a lot of chatting going on and they only had ONE wrench -needed to take the dining table/bed apart and later put together- to share between all the men so there was a lot of waiting for the other guy to finish with the tool before they could tackle the next item.. I ended paying twice the amount quoted! (so it really felt like I paid to have the extra guy and more). I had to paid it since they had already done the job and the manager got me into feeling guilty because "they had done the work and he needed to pay them." He also said he was surprised I did not cancel (as if I had all the time of the world to move any day of the year!) They did offer finance options for the "unexpected expense" which helped since I was not expecting to pay double but it did not redeemed the experience, and that is the only reason why I did not give them a "poor" review.
Highly Recommend.
The Team we had help us move was EXCELLENT!! This was the first time we used Bust A Move. They were prompt, on time and excellent movers. The guys had an awesome attitude and were professional. They handled everything with care and got us safely moved out and moved in to our new home. The 3 man team made everything easier on us and had a great sense of humor as well. I can not speak enough about how hard these guys work and for such a great price. You will not find anyone better in the book! If you want someone reliable, that does an excellent job and want a worry free move than these are your guys! Bust A Move will always be our number one movers if we ever need their help again. .
Loading rental truck.
We had Kevin, Corey, Drew, and Matt come over and load the rental truck for us. We were late getting to the storage shed and they were very nice about it and waited for us. The professionalism they showed in packing, wrapping and loading trhe truck was outstanding. We needed to have the truck loaded at two different locations. They followed us to the second location and continued their outstranding work. I will whole heartedly recommend them to anybody.
Furniture move.
We hauled ourselves from WY to VA. In rural Buckingham County finding movers to put furniture in house proved impossible. Until we found Bust-a-move VA. They drove from Virginia Beach to help us with a two hour move. They arrived on time. And CHEERFULLY got right to work. The stairs of our old house are narrow and steep. In a word awkward. But heavy dressers and glass front chests went up with CARE. They covered our hardwood floors and I never once heard or saw furniture or walls bumped. They also moved three heavy pieces of slate for the pool table. Johnny and Kevin were friendly, listened to our requests, double checked location placement and all with genuine good nature. We plan to tell our friends old and new that BUST-A-MOVE VA should definitely be called if you have anything to move. Next cross country move they will hear from us!
Simply the best out there!
From the initial phone call, to the day of the move, these guys put me at ease. I had complete confidence in my move going as well as it can possibly go.I had a 4 bedroom house and could not do it without these guys! They kept in great contact with me for weeks. They were on time, professional, courteous, and seemed to enjoy their job!I've moved dozens of times, and by far, this was the best move yet.We can probably all agree and say MOVING SUCKS. But these guys made it easy and somewhat enjoyable!They blanketed and plastic wrapped every single piece of furniture, stacked all my boxes perfectly in the truck like a Tetris game. It was amazing watching these guys work! It was like poetry in motion.Their pricing was incredibly simple. I had the option of bringing my own moving truck, or having them supply it for me. There were no hidden fees what so ever. They were well equipped with everything they needed to move my belongings at no additional charge! They can't be beat! These guys are anyone's best option for local and long distance moving as they do not use any underhand tactics that I've experienced previously with other moving companies. If I could give them more stars I would. Finding this company was such a blessing!
Outstanding Service and Professionalism.
Having been in the military, I've worked with movers quite a few times (some good, some not so good). Johnny and crew were among the best! I heard good things about Bust-a-Move through some friends and thought I would give them a shot. No regrets! They were professional and treated our furniture like it was thier own. Additionally, we had to work around some tough weather conditions on the day of the move which created some delays due to heavy thunderstorms and road closures. They worked through it efficiently, and despite the delays and the late hours, they never lost the positive attitude and attention to detail. I won't hesitate to hire them again, and I would highly recommend Bust-a Move to anyone who is considering help for thier next move.
Very Suprised at outcome.
Started out great. All the planning. I was a wreck on moving day. Was put at ease on moving day. Ended up being one man short. Didnt properly figure truck size. Took several hours longer than quoted to load. Advised would get another truck and move remaining furniture and household items. Delivery, had the correct amount of people. Completely destoyed some furniture. Damaged other pieces. Damaged new house's walls. Still have not fixed damaged walls as promised. Still has not moved remaining furniture items. Will not return calls or messages. Started out great..great guys but not making good on their errors. Would never recommend them to anyone. Inexpensive and now I know why.
Loaded uhaul for move.
We did not even know this service was available. BustA Move was great. They arrived on time. Butch, Mitch, Brian and Jarrett were excellent workers and did the job much faster then we expected. They worked quickly and carefully and respected our possessions. We would not hesitate to recommend Bust A Move.We only wished they were at the destination we moved to in Woodbridge,VA.
