  1. Criminal behavior. Fraud.

    We have (had?) a contract with this company to do a small move for my mom from Oregon to Colorado. We paid the retainer fee. On the day before I was to fly out, I got the call that they would not be able to follow through. Supposedly they tried to "find" someone to move her, but that feel through as well. At this point, they still owe us $518 and some change for this incompleted service. We have called, emailed, called again, emailed again and always get the same response, "We will get back to you with your refund."

    I called last week (again) and talked to "Kyle" who again said he would get back to me on Monday. Surprise.. "crickets." I called today (Wednesday) and now the phone number in Florida is "not accepting calls" and the cell phone number is shut down. Kyle said he was moving the company to California. I WILL find you Kyle. You have caused more tears and heartache as we are dealing with my dad's death and now you have stolen money from my 80 year old mother who needs every penny. I don't think you could ever get any slimier.

    I am contacting the Attorney Generals in all states your company "serves," the BBB in each state and the Departments of Transportation. If this continues, I will be calling an attorney to not only get my mom's money returned but also compensation for the incredible difficulties your company has put us through. Be ready.

    From the looks of the reviews, perhaps a class action suit is in order. Criminals.

  2. Furniture Has Never Showed Up!

    I did a move from Berry Creek, California on November 26, 2018 to Queensbury, NY and was told that my furniture would deliver in NY on or about December 1, 2018. I have only received two calls on my furniture and it was because I was persistent in emailing and calling. Liz has been very rude to say the least. She stated to me what do you expect, that furniture is moving 3000 miles and it will get there when it does.She has told me that the delivery would be before Christmas then again she said it would be no later than New Years. Now she has stated the the company is off work until January 11, 2019.
    These are all lies!
    I believe they have stolen my furniture, so as of today I will be talking with a lawyer on this matter.
    Complete Moving Group isn't company I would ever recommend.
    Price of the move $2600.00.

  3. Lied, Ignored, and now my building is angry at me.

    Before agreeing to their services, before any money changed hands, I sent them the requirements for my building TWICE. They acknowledged and agreed to those requirements. They fulfilled none of the requirements, gave me no warning for the delivery except until 8pm the night before so I could not reserve an elevator, and the movers that showed up were rude, pushy, and demanded extra money from me for the mistakes of Complete Moving Group. I would rate them 0 stars if I could. This has been the worst moving experience I ever had. Will never use their service again and I advise you do the same.

    My experience with this company was superb from the get-go. Whether it was communication through phone or email, the responsiveness their sales team and movers showed was amazing. They also answered all my questions to my satisfaction.
    It was a big move as we were moving from a big mansion like house. But the CMG crew made the move hassle free and easy for us. The carefully packed and carried all the stuff to the trucks. The crew ensured they have all the equipment and people needed to avoid damaging heavy items. The furniture was unscathed, none of the fragile items were damaged, and the whole moved went smoothly.
    My wife and I loved working with CMG as everything was covered within the quote. Keep up the good work. Cheers!!

  5. Lost items during move.

    Best I explain this bad experience is by last email (sent 3 and called 3 X- no reply) ) I sent to the office to Ivan ( supposedly owner) and Liz, office manager:
    "Good evening., I have tried many many times to reach you Ivan, or you Liz again, ( ?) but all I get from a gentlemen who answered the phone is that they are working to handle the matter and someone would call back. No one has . Been roughly 2 weeks now since original move/complaint of missing items.. . I give up!! I don’t have any more time/patience to deal w/this bad business; lack of follow up . Apparently your promises to call back are as good as delivering all items in a move which is poor. More important is the lack of follow up. Being a loan officer of 35 years, I am proud to say, that “my last foot forward, in as equal to, if not better than, , my 1st foot forward” … .both 100%..( Too bad your firm can not boast the same )… Liz, I spoke to you once (not sure if that’s ure name as so abrupt) , you were both extremely condescending and , belittling as to my complaint, (stating that it was basically no big deal) as to my issue. These movers took 10 hours ( albeit, no extra cost- except for my time which I could been spent working ) and , I unfortunately gave them like 140 tip after they said 120 was not sufficient).. I also bought them Pizza for 60.00 .. fortunately my friend was there to witness the atrocity and basically told me I am lucky he was there to get these guys moving ( as they would take like hour breaks) .. I also had another person, to unpack, as to attest as to the missing item. Mostly, I am upset ( as I do not drive) , as it cost me like 80.00 to pay someone to take me to the different places needed to replace 4 items - besides the 160 material cost. Just gets me as I treated the movers very nicely , and that you will not only address the problem, but dismiss it!! With the Liz attitude .. I guess I am out of the 240 bucks it takes to replace the item with its contents and the time it takes to do so, and out of patience. Mark B-.

  6. I am quite satisfied with your services.

    I wanted to move an old Essex piano from my parents’ house to my apartment, because my parents wanted me to keep the piano as they were moving out of town. Since Complete Moving Group was helping my parents with the move, I hired them for this job as well. Michael was the lead and he himself helped with moving the piano. They unloaded it at my apartment which was all the way at the 4th floor. I am quite satisfied with your services. Good work.

  7. I already have recommended them to a friend.

    I was moving from Northwood Gardens to South Side and needed a moving company urgently. CMG’s representative said in the afternoon slot they have a truck and 2 movers available. I had a garage packed with hardware, furniture, boxes, and other stuff worth of almost a 3 bedroom apartment. It took about 4hours for Michael and the team to load and unload the stuff. Overall, I am satisfied with this company. I already have recommended them to a friend. Thank me later!! :-).

  8. My highest recommendation for the great service!

    My friend, Michelle, told me that Complete Moving Group provided best services for moving homes to her last year. I took her recommendation and called them to ask for details. Everything seemed fair to me, along with the pricing. Though I was living in a furnished apartment and didn’t had many things to move but I needed some extra set of hands because of my daughter. The movers carried the boxes from the fifth floor to the truck carefully. They unload the stuff at the destination carefully and quickly too. Thanks CMG – you have my highest recommendation for the great service!

    I had a good experience with Complete Moving Group from the get-go. Luckily, they had a slot available even though I booked their services at the last moment. The furniture, and other stuff I have easily fitted inside the truck, so they had to make another round. The move was from Northwood Gardens to Pleasant City. The whole job was done within 3.5 hours. Thanks for the great service. I am glad I hired Complete Moving Group.

    Nicolai with some of his movers reached at 9 and started work immediately. They came a day before too to see what they have to move and gave me the final quote. The movers were fast, friendly and carefully handled my stuff. Highly recommend hiring Complete Moving Group for moving homes. Oh and the sales team contributed in the smooth experience as well!

  11. A total mess!!

    I cannot imagine any moving company being worse than complete moving group (technically, they are broker and not even a moving complete and be very careful that working with a broker is both waste of time and money). It is a total mess! They are so dishonest! The customer service is very impolite, helpless and unreliable!
    I strongly warn you against having business with them. I cannot express how dissatisfied I am about their service.

    My move was from New York to Chicago. At the time of contract they guaranteed many things including *full packing service*, *3-delivery* and *no piggy backing* which were very important for me.
    But what happened to me was the following:

    1) They came for packing a day later than what we had in our contract and even 4-5 hours late in the time the set up later!
    2) The movers made me to help and I had to work hard (!!) with them to finish packing on time. I am not exaggerating, it was exactly the case!

    3) The mover told me that they will first move my stuff to a storage and then in about 30 days I will get your items!! (They violated both "no piggybacking" and "3-day delivery").

    4) I did not trust the moving company (which was the flat rate movers) initially and thought they may try to get more money. I called "complete moving company" customer service and told them what happened to me (that our agreement is violated by them!!). The customer service said some non-sense and I just realized that they are so dishonest and unreliable.

    5) At this point, I contacted the moving company (flat rate mover) and they charged my $3000 to ship my item on time!

    6) Finally, I received my items after three days + paying $3000 more than the estimate + ~$750 damage to my stuff (that could never refund!)

    Moving is a very stressful task and "complete moving group" just makes it more stressful. You cannot trust them and you should not even considering working with them.

    I was fooled by the useless (and probably fake) reviews. I just want to help you not be fooled by them!!

  12. Great Experience Overall.

    We chose CMG after doing extensive research online and reading plenty of reviews here and on multiple sites. When we called, we spoke to Nicolai who did an inventory count with us over the phone and quoted us an estimate which we thought was fair. We agreed on the price and scheduled the move. On the move day they were slightly delayed on the pickup time but they did call me to inform that they were running late. They packed the stuff carefully and loaded it on their truck while I watched. Everything from pickup to delivery and re assembly went perfectly and the final price was the same what we were initially quoted with no surprises. Would use them again if needed in future.

  13. Moving Experience - Customer Service.

    The sales team was excellent. Michael assured me that everything was good to go for 28 July 2018. 4 days after I provided the down payment and 3 days before pick up, Nickolai called to review my inventory. Low and behold the quote was more than doubled and they requested additional money. At that point, I was floored and cancelled the contract. I am still disputing the refund which they agreed to but have not done so as of today, 21 AUG 18. I did extensive research before I hired them but I had a horrible experience. I would not recommend them.

    If I have read the review, I will not be in mess which I am now.
    Please stay away from this company.
    I got a very polite and friendly call from (Ms. Marry Adam) and giving all the inventory I received a quote $2100 (from Okemos, MI to Russellville, AR). Mover did not arrive on time (schedule time 12 pm noon), they came 1.00 am (night), ask me to pack and help me in the loading (however I did door to door contract).
    After loading, their estimate increased and I agreed with that
    My stuff should be deliver on JULY 5TH but did not received yet (July 20th) however price increased (significantly) keep on increasing.
    After booking, it very hard to contact the person.
    It will be much easier for me to drive uhaul truck by myself.

    If you reading this. PLEASE STAY WAY (AS I DID NOT RECIVED MY STUFF) YET.
