    I absolutely love this company. I've dealt with a lot of moving companies in my time and these guys were the best! Polite and helpful from my first inquiry to the follow up phone call. Tony, Dillan and Chad are wonderful, and I will surely contact them in the future. Thank you!

  2. Mom's Move

    Anthony & Brant were the best! They showed up ready to help and were very fast and efficient. Even though we only moved our mom from one room to another (in her assisted living home) they were easy to work with, friendly and willing to help us with anything we needed. Highly recommend them.

    Joshua and Nate were excellent! They arrived early, and handled our belongings with care. They were friendly and efficient. I would highly recommend them for any moving needs.

  4. Incompetent, dishonest, uncaring, unreliable, unprofessional

    My horrible experience with Bekins Cross Town Movers (BCTM) of Medford Oregon.

    After getting an estimate we decide to purchase our own boxes and pack up 90% of our belongings ourselves to save money. My mistake was in letting them pack the other 10%.

    Packing day arrives and 2 guys from BCTM show up. All they have are all old, used U-Haul boxes. They are clueless. After they leave we repack many items ourselves.

    Pick-up day comes and they are running late. Due to the late start they have to quit early, it’s too hot and everything won’t fit in the truck they brought anyway. They come the next day to finish loading and put our items into their storage facility. Everything stored now, delivery set for August 26.

    A few days later I get a call from BCTM wanting payment for packing, loading and storage. OK, except that BCTM wants me to pay EXACTLY what is on the estimate. Ummmm, no. The estimate was based on them packing much more than they did. They agreed to cut the packing fee in half, I still paid more than I should have.

    On August 26 I get a phone call. The truck was overloaded and they had to turn around to unload 1,500 pounds to get under the maximum weight. They are now on their way but it will be too late for delivery on August 26, delivery will now be on August 27. As for the 1,500 pounds, they will deliver that within 2 weeks but need to check with the schedulers and get back to me. They don’t.

    August 27 arrives and so does BCTM. They begin unloading. The worst part was seeing the damage that has been done to our personal belongings. Basically they do not care about your stuff. Period. As this disaster is unfolding around me, BCTM calls wanting payment. In full. While still holding 1,500 pounds worth of our stuff back in Oregon. Ummmm, no. They agreed to pro-rate the payment based on the weight. I’m told we’ll get the rest of our stuff within 2 weeks.

    September 7 arrives and I finally hear from BCTM. They will be delivering the 1,500 pounds on September 9.

    September 9 arrives and I receive a call from BCTM. They are not coming. Blah, blah, blah, more excuses, more apologies. They will now deliver on September 15.

    September 15 arrives and I receive a call from BCTM. They want the rest of the payment that was pro-rated from their partial delivery in August. Ummmm no, your guys aren’t even here. They agree to wait until the movers actually arrive. I then receive another call from BCTM. Yes, they are still coming but our antique china cabinet did not make it on this trip, blah, blah, blah, more excuses, more apologies. I’m told that the china cabinet will be delivered “within the week”. The truck arrives and BCTM immediately calls for payment. Foolishly, I paid the balance in full. They unload our stuff, minus the china cabinet, offer more apologies and leave.

    September 21 arrives, our antique china cabinet should be delivered by tomorrow. I call to find out what time they will be showing up. They are going to call the driver and call me right back. They never called back.

    September 22 arrives, I call BCTM and no one answers the phone. They now screening their calls. I leave a message. No one ever calls me.

    September 23 arrives, I call BCTM, no one answers, I leave a message. I call a second number I have for them, no one answers, I leave a message. I call a third number I found for them and someone answers! I explain what is going on. He says he will make some calls and call me right back. He doesn’t. I have my wife call from her phone. Someone answers! She hears the insincere apologies and is promised that they will call her back by the end of the day. At 7:30pm, they call to say they will call by noon tomorrow with a firm delivery date. Next day, no one has called. At 2pm my wife calls and they answer again! More apologies about not calling back but we now have a firm date of October 9.

    October 7 & 8, multiple calls to BCTM. No one answers, no one calls back.

    October 9 arrives, delivery day. We call BCTM, twice, no answer. We wait all day for our delivery. No one shows up. We now realize that we are never going to receive the antique china cabinet.

    So what now? I assume they are either out of business or have decided to just keep our antique china cabinet (they already sent a picture of proof that they do indeed have it).

    If you still decide to hire Bekins Cross Town Movers, just know that this is how they operate and that all of this can happen to you too.

    Huge thanks to Art and Jeremiah for their Super-Human strength and effort in moving all of our VERY heavy statuary to their final spots! Fast, friendly, efficient, and all-around great guys who do a great job! Thank you! Tried to leave this review on Google, but it wouldn't let me.....

    Art & Jeremiah were the best. Worked great & did everything I asked of them. Very nice & personable. Appreciated all the moving & help they gave me. They don’t waste any time at all. So nice to get part of the move done & we will be back for more. This is the second time I have used Cross Town Movers & I have not been disappointed. My

    Daughter has used you before also.

    Jonathan and Matt Wood were great in moving our furniture fro one storage unit to another. I would ask for them again because they were helpful, courteous and careful.

    Craig and D.J. did a great job of moving some of our things from storage at Cross Town Movers and from our apartment over to our new home. They were efficient, friendly and courteous. We liked them enough to request that Craig and D.J. move the rest of our belongings from Cross Town to our new home.

  9. Moved Knife Shop Across Town

    Alex, Darin, Rocky and Chance all help to move my families entire household and my knife shop. They were quick, professional and entirely affordable. Alex and Darin and helped me move in the past and even remembered helping me.

    I will most definitely hire Crosstown Movers again in the future and would suggest them to anyone else who is looking for Quality Assistance!!

    Moving is stressful . Chance and Cody showed up on time, were efficient and asked questions that indicated that they knew what they were doing. Most helpful in all regards. Kept moving which I appreciated as being billed by the 1/4 hour every minute counts. The Company called to confirm date and time prior to move which made me confident they were professional and on top of the situation. Would recommend.

    Had a very calm and peaceful move. Only had Joshua N and Nate H. load into a truck I already had but they were great and very professional. Much more organized than I was. Had us do a walk through to make sure everything was headed. Definitely would recommend.
