  1. Save Yourself The Trouble.

Did not show up on time (did not receive updates, lied about 2 hour delay, stated they were in traffic)

Workers were taking 20 minutes in between coming up and down the stairs. This was addressed with supervisor and he stated he would talk to them to resolve this issue. He yelled at the top of his lungs and disturbed neighbors. Even after that, I did not see the workers more than 4 times per hour moving stuff from our apartment.

Since they were taking so long we asked them to take what  they had already loaded in the truck and the big things only. My pregnant wife and I are having to move everything left.

I had to help the supervisor move the large items as the workers were not in the apartment for about 30 minutes. He clearly did not know how to wrap furniture. While supervisor was trying to pack heavy items. I helped him move as he was attempting to handle items that were too heavy for one person, in an attempt to avoid breaking our belongings

Their packing was very sloppy and did not serve the purpose of protecting our property.

Supervisor constantly yelling at his workers (“talked to them”) extremely loud at old and new apartment. At new apartment we were reported to office because of the yelling and them hitting the  walls when moving things up the stairs.

Supervisor by the name of Ruben (Phone number: 720.682.5814) appeared and smelled like he had been consuming alcohol throughout the job. Noticeable alcohol smell from his breathe.

Movers broke our couch ($300 value) and our desk ($150 value).

Two valuable and non-replaceable medium boxes were lost in the move. One of them containing at least 5 large handmade quilts ($1000 minimum value).

Movers left trash in front of apartment for which we were reprimanded by landlord. Three large bags of trash and half of the broken desk were left on the street.

The price we were given at the end of the move was no more than $300. In fact, supervisor estimated $256 after all the discounts and adjustments for broken furniture and horrible service. In other words, we were quoted a TOTAL price of less than $300. Supervisor Ruben assured us we would not pay more than the initial deposit. He reiterated that he had talked to his superior and they had agreed to compensate for the negative experience we had.

We have been charged close to $447 in addition to the deposit. Not what we were told we would have to pay.

Ruben, the supervisor, showed us on his phone that we were signing for $256. Documents show a different amount. Signatures on the document were also time stamped at a time that they were not at our location.

When we attempted to get compensation for all this, they sent us to their “adjuster” and told us it could take up to 120 days. One hundred and twenty days later and adjuster stated they could not proceed with investigation. They referred us to DieHard movers once again. It is now 1/22/2020 and we have yet to hear from this company regarding compensation or update on the case of any kind. The move happened at the end of October 2019.

  2. Highly unprofessional moving company.

Let me start by stating the reason behind hiring movers, I was very pregnant at the time. The first discrepancy was one mover dropping my Aspen log bed frame down the stairs because he was rushing, and it's not been the same since. They also broke my antique marble top buffet that I inherited from my deceased grandparents. My grandma had it custom made. I asked them to please secure the marble top to the buffet with plastic wrap ( because the tops aren't secured ), along with my marble coffee table. One mover, the new guy, secured the coffee table. The other mover, who claimed to be seasoned, argued with me about it and refused to secure the buffet. Assuring me that he knew what he was doing. Mind you, this is the same mover that dropped my custom made, Aspen log bed frame down the stairs. After trying to contact the company for reconciliation, they continued to ask me for receipts, dates of purchase, etc. Which I could not provide due to one item being purchased by my deceased grandparents, and the other being purchased 7 years ago. They then severed communication with me and to my understanding weren't willing to make it right. I would not recommend this company to anyone that values their time, money and assets.

  3. Worst Experience Ever.

Long version- Had a difficult time from the start with this company.
Called and spoke to Andrew to schedule and get a quote, we argued over who was right in giving the email info (it's my email, pretty sure I know what it is). Long story short, he never sent any of the info to my email because he ended up taking it down incorrectly, as I originally pointed out.. Not a good start.

The day of the move, I spoke with a nice lady that mentioned the movers should be finishing up around noon and asked if it would be ok if they showed up early, music to my ears. My moving slot was from 2:30-5:30pm, so the sooner we could knock this out, the better. Around 5pm I called to see how far away they were, Andrew was shocked they weren't there and was going to investigate and get back to me. After another 45 minutes waiting, I called again and said they were on there way (1 hour away). At this point they've missed their window but I was on a strict deadline to get out of office so I had to stay and wait. Around 6:30pm and several miss communications later, the movers called me to say he was 10-15 minutes away and we can discuss when he gets here. Realizing I had to cancel my evening plans to help move all night, I was not a happy camper. 30 minutes go by without any communication, I call their dispatch and get voicemail, I call the driver's cell phone and he sends me to voicemail. I continue to wait until around 7:30 and realize these guys are not showing.. nice. I get a text at 10:30pm from my movers saying he can do it tomorrow morning.. ok, already missed deadline, but ok, we will work a deal out later for missing deadline.

2 smaller kids show up, nice enough, but not who you want to see moving or picking up anything. They mention that Andrew makes many mistakes and this mis communication is a normal occurrence, ok. I've got meetings all day so I let them do their thing. They move slower than a snail's pace. What should have taken roughly 2 hours (quoted), takes around 5 total. The job required a 1,500 sqft office to be moved into a pod. I could have accomplished this by myself in less time; with 2 men, it should have taken 1.5 hours. After several hours and with still half an office left to move, I can't take it anymore and decide to show these guys how you move.

I make roughly 3 trips down to their truck for every one of theirs. This does however, pick the pace up of the operation and we can begin to see some progress. With my help, we finish second half of office in about 45 minutes.. It's very clear they are paid by the hour and most definitely exceed every quote significantly.

Once we finish, the "boss" John calls on the kid's cell phone to ask how everything went. During this time I was still moving and had furniture in my hand and ask if he can call back, plus the kid is standing right in front of me during this process. One of the movers cut his hand and had blood all over a table I was bringing to a friend, so I told John to please call back so I can give him an honest review of the situation. To my amazement, he does not call back, big surprise with this company.

Aftermath- They charge us more than double the original quote, twice. So we now have missed our move out date because of these guys, and get charged about $1,000 for something that me and a buddy could have accomplished in an hour and a half.. Let that sink in.

We hired a separate company to unload our pod into a truck, drive 45 minutes and unload into an office, they accomplish this in about 3 hours. We discover multiple items damaged from Die Hard. It would have taken the new movers an hour and half to accomplish original move and as a bonus, they would have done it on the right day!

  4. Great Company!

Great experience with Sean and Skylar! Hard working, super kind, considerate of my stuff, and they organized all the boxes around the perimeters of the rooms in my house, so there’s space to move and sort stuff! Amazing! They moved my 2 bedroom apartment including a piano, two armours, a couch, two beds, dressers, bookshelves, and lots of boxes! They also moved a storage unit I had, which was amazing to get it all done quickly! They also stopped to pick up a bookshelf I had purchased on FB Marketplace for me with their truck, so I didn’t have to rent one! I definitely would recommend these two for your next move! Thank you guys!

  5. NO CALL! NO SHOW! On scheduled and confirmed move.

NO CALL NO SHOW ON SCHEDULED MOVE! Don’t trust these guys, you’ll end up wasting a fortune on last minute movers if they stand you up. I made an appointment for Thursday June 28th a month ago on May 29, and gave them credit card info to save the date. They emailed me a quote, then a schedule confirmation, and then emailed me a follow up on Sunday June 24 to advise me I could no longer cancel. All good to go right?

They were supposed to dispatch between 3 and 6pm. It was super hot so I honestly expected them to dispatch late in the hopes of a small break in the temp. I didn’t start to get alarmed until 5:20pm. By then the office was closed and I had no one to call.

I never heard anything from them all night.

I ended up having to scramble last minute to figure out how to get my stuff from one apartment to the next. This included a ton of unexpected labor, recruiting my boyfriend and his friend, and ultimately hiring some movers as a last minute premium price on Dolly for the remaining large pieces of furniture.

Die Hard Movers is the kind of company that will blow off customers, so if you can't afford that, don't use them. They cost me a ton of extra money, extra sweat, and extra stress when I was on a tight timeline to move.

  6. Great service at a great cost.

I shopped around for my recent move and was lucky enough to find Die Hard.. Like most of you, I immediately was hoping that Bruce Willis was going to come and help me move my furniture. That I was disappointed there, I was lucky enough to have Dakota and Arthur come to help me out. These guys were energetic and respectful at a level that you'd expect from a young Marine!

If you want hard working, precise and affordable movers to help you with your local Denver move - these are the people to talk to! Though I hope I don't have to move again any time soon, I know that next time I do, I'll be calling Die Hard again! Thanks Dakota and Arthur!!

  7. Great service.

Found this company in groupon, I checked the ratings before calling to schedule my my move - this company is extremely accommodating with dates, and very competitive with pricing! my movers michael and cj did show up late, but to no fault of their own, their previous move took longer than expected. but when they did arrive, they were super friendly, smiling, no complaints about how late it was for them in their day, and fun to talk with! they were very professional, and provided quick and exceptional service! I will definitely use Die Hard Movers again!

  8. Just Poor Service!

I Purchased a groupon for a move from an apartment into a storage locker. The groupon was for 3 men and a 20' truck. Set up the move for a Tuesday and took off work to take care of it. On Tuesday, their truck broke down which is understandable, it happens. They could not get any other team out to me for the entire day and rescheduled for wednesday at 5pm. On Wednesday the movers did not show up until 9pm which happened to also be the time my storage locker closed. On top of that, 2 men and a 16' truck was what I got. We packed up the truck and I had to leave my stuff in the truck overnight, take off work the next morning to then move it all into the storage locker. I explained all this to the movers who said they would discuss it with the office prior to billing me.
A couple weeks later, I was billed for the full amount without regard to the groupon or anything. Called them a number of times and when they got back to me, applied the groupon and merely took a single hour off of the final bill!
Regardless to say, I was unsatisfied with their service. The movers themselves were great, but the office work was more than enough for me not to want to deal with them ever again!

  9. You Have My Gratitude.

Diehard Movers Denver kicked [EDIT]! At my new apartment, the elevator was busted but it didn't matter to them. In fact, they are more than willing to take multiple trips up and down 4 flights of stairs carrying boxes and furniture that I thought wouldn't have fit. The movers were courteous, professional and friendly. They even went to extreme lengths just to help me with my move. I have tipped them well and even bought pizza for them but I really wished I could have given them more.   Never have imagined having such wonderful service given to me. Thank you Diehard Movers Denver. .

  10. Well Done!

Diehard Movers is a company that I would highly recommend for any moving service. I can proudly say that they are the best moving company, and thankful for them. I had some stuff that need to some moving about a year ago, I searched for any good company around the area. I found these guys and called them. They came over and did their work. They are really hardworking and really careful when carrying stuff. They are also friendly as well. As for their service, it was really impressive. I had no problems from them and noted them if ever I need more moving in the future. You will definitely get the best results for your money with them as your movers.  .

  11. My dad likes them!

I never had the chance to thank these people when I had move. Thanks to these guys, my stuff where move safely and not even a scratch. They evem guaranteed the refund if they fail or if they had damage even the smalles of my things. The charges was affordable, even my dad said that I made a fine decision when I hired this company. Really helpful. I am in their debt.

  12. Excellent.

If you are planning to move and are looking for a moving company that would provide you with a good moving experience and make sure will not pull your hair out, then you should call Diehard Movers Denver.
I had a very positive moving experience with them right from the initial stages wherein I checked for their website and phoned them up to the end when the movers laid the last box into our new home. Communication was great. Every little detail was clearly explained. I found no hidden agenda or any shady things during our conversation. They called us when they were supposed to, especially in confirming our move. Movers were on time, pleasant and very organized. They brought all the equipment necessary for a fast and efficient move. I noticed none was broken in the process. The job was very affordable and done really, really well that it convinced me to give them a generous tip. I am really happy that I have given them the opportunity to help us move and not to some sleazy moving company with plenty of loopholes, questionable moving practices and sketchy contracts,.

  13. Amazing Service.

This was my first ever time hiring movers and I’m never going back to doing it on my own again! I was nervous that it might be awkward having someone moving my things for me and that I would end up having to pay a ton because they would go slow but it was completely the opposite. I hired two movers from DieHard. They were on time and got started the second they arrived. In an efficient manner they looked over all of our belongings with us to make sure they kept them in good condition. We had one coffee table that was in bad condition to begin with and we told them not to worry about it but they insisted that it was important because it belonged to us. Not only were they careful with it but they also took a couple minutes to fix the legs of it and truly left it in better condition than they found it. Along with how quick and careful they were they also were extremely pleasant to work with. They were friendly and enjoyable to be around. They made sure we were comfortable with everything and they never complained about how heavy or awkward any of our furniture was. They finished the entire move in a shorter time period than we expected and made sure everything was exactly how we wanted it before they left. My dad was also having a hard time carrying a couple things and they went out of their way to help him and make sure they put his needs first. Numerous times we would be going up the stairs at the same time as them and no matter how heavy the furniture was that they were carrying they always let us go first. I had an extremely good experience and I would recommend them to anyone who is looking to move!  .

  14. Great service.

My expirience with die hard movers was an execellent one, all my funiture was wrapped and protected, my movers worked hard and the office staff was helpful In setting up my move date and finishing payment, it was an all around great expirience. I would recommend them to anyone looking to move.

  15. Awesome movers.

These guys were great when I called the girls in the office were very nice and helpful and they let me know a couple of days before the day of the move to make sure that I was still able to move that day and my movers were great, they padded and wrapped all of my possessions and placed all of my funiture where I had asked.
