My move
I hired Dominant Moving Company for a small local move of 1 bedroom place from Mira Mesa, San Diego to North Park. Movers did a great job moving all my items in just under 4 hours. The price I paid was very reasonable and did not exceed the amount I expected to pay. They protected all the furniture and wrapped mattress with plastic bag, disassembled a queen size bed and put it back together at the new place. Also they provided Wardrobe Boxes for FREE.
Scheduling an appointment was very easy, I provided the list of items through their website. Then spent no more than five minutes on the phone, got all the answers and booked the job.
At the end of the move I signed the bill on their tablet.
Good Experience, definitely reccomend and will use again.
Outstanding service
I was looking for a reliable moving company to handle my move recently (I needed and packing and unpacking, furniture disassembly and reassembly. I founded Dominant Moving Company both through a friend and my realtor who both spoke highly of them. Through Yelp, I was able to quickly make an inquiry aboutmy move, and they gave me a call to set up a visual estimate Within the hour from the call, I received my estimate of 8-10hrs and ~Not to exceed 1850$ to pack a move a big 2 bedroom apartment.
It ended up costing ~350$ less than not to exceed estimate, which was amazing! All throughout the process, they had an answer to any questions I had whether by email or phone. The day of the move, the team leader Denis was very thorough. He called and texted when he was on the way, did a walkthrough beforehand with me and his team to confirm what was going and staying as well as going over all the paperwork The guys started right away and were working very efficiently. Used all their material and boxes. I'm very happy with all their services. They made my move a breeze and eaze and I'm forever thankful. I highly recommend them if you are moving witin San Diego or looking to leave our beautiful city.

When I was searching for moving companies to move from San Diego to Orange County, I requested multiple quotes through Yelp and other websites. I received over 10 estimates, some of them were suspiciously cheap. I thought it is too good to be true. I kept looking and an old friend recommended Dominant Moving to me. I checked them on Yelp and Google and they had a few bad reviews, but actually read a lot of them and made my decision to hire these guys.
3 friendly Movers came out in clean blue uniforms with a big Moving Truck. The quickly put all my clothes to the wardrobe boxes, Took apart beds, wrapped all my furniture with Special blankets and then stretch wrap, loaded my 2 bedroom townhome for a little over 4 hours and then drove the truck to Irvine unloaded everything for about two and a half hours, assembled back the beds, unwrapped everything and settled all my furniture the way I wanted. I spent a little over $1300 for the whole move to Irvine, which was about six hundred less than I paid to Two men and truck a few years ago for a similar move. There were no damages to my very heavy furniture. I recommend Dominant Moving to everyone.
