Worst experience ever.
I hired elate moving company in the spring of 2017. It was the worst moving experience I have ever had, and have moved several times in the past few years. The Russian movers showed up drunk agitated and aggressive. The entire day they were complaining about the move and how things were packed, it was just awful. It took them three hours to drive the 30 miles to the new house. When they got there they doubled the price from the estimate and we’re very aggressive when questioned about the higher price, threatening to withhold my belongings. They broke several things and were unapologetic. Towards the end of the move I gave them a tip of $40 each, and they were so pissed off that they threw the rest of the boxes on the front lawn and drove off.
