Extreme Movers

Don't let Extreme Movers screw you up.

I was in the relocation situation moving from Massachusetts to Southern New Jersey in the August of 2015. Like other customers, I was approached by a moving company called Extreme movers. before I signed up the contract with them, they spoke with a sweet toque such as We are real moving company, not like others that they are brokers. We are professional, you don't need to do anything, just relax and we will do the job, etc., trying to gain your business. Once you paid your deposit, they change the face, you can't find their sale people any more, and they are your boss !! You have absolutely no way to get out of the hook. I gave Extreme Movers a detailed list of items that need to be moved. They gave me a quote of $7794 and I accepted it. In order to make this move more smooth, I ordered a dumpster to get rid of all my un-necessary items such as old computers, monitors, large projector TV set, etc.. At the moving date, they sent a 28 footage truck (not a normal 54 footage Van liner's container for a 4 bed rooms colonial single house content) and started loading. At the middle of the loading, they said that you have too much stuff, and the truck is not enough to load all the stuff. How to resolve it? Easy ----- You have to pay them another three thousand dollars and they will send another truck to pick the left-over items. Since most of your household items have already loaded on their truck and you have to way to back out. This is obvious a plot that they orchestrated & want to rip you up. At the end of the loading, they still have 16 items that were left over in my Mass's home which is on my original moving list. I have to travel back to Massachusetts home two times from Philadelphia for them to send another truck for the moving. What a chaos it was. The Moving ended up with many of my belongings damaged which include two antique lamp shades, a refrigerators and a jade collectable art. They are only willing to compensate me with $250 for the damage. The purpose that I write this review is to remind public don't use Extreme Movers as your moving company or you will definitely be ripped off by them and can not get the money back for all those damage that they did in the moving.
