  1. Belongings Still MIA, don't honor binding estimate

    I hired this company not knowing they were a moving broker. They gave us a binding estimate and took an inventory of our items. We actually ended up being well under the inventory, as we decided not to take our sofa. They hired American Home Relocation to handle the move of our belongings. The movers came on 9/11/2021 and delivery was scheduled for 9/18/2021. It is 10/1/2021 and we still don't have an ETA for our belongings. When the movers arrived, they told us that FVL severely underquoted us and we had much more in cubic square feet (despite being under inventory) than they had room for in their van. They ended up only taking about 2/3, leaving us to come up with a way to ship our remaining items right before our move. I called customer service the day of and Gina kept saying she was losing signal and couldn't take our calls.Themovers were two males (I am a female) and one of the movers told me that the second mover had made comments suggesting that he wanted to do sexual acts with me. Of course I was terrified after hearing that and sent texts to my friends that I was in danger and one of them came over. I called Monday to request a resolution in the form of at least a partial deposit refund as the service that they agreed to provide in the binding estimate was not met- our things had not been picked and we were under the quoted inventory. I also expressed to them that I was terrified for my safety that day. Customer service was helpful until I requested a resolution. I was then sent to Ray who promised to call me back with a resolution but I haven't heard back from him in weeks. Last time I tried calling him, my calls went straight to voice-mail. Today, it has been three weeks since pickup and I still have heard no word as to when to expect my things. I'm extremely disappointed and angry about my experience.

    We set up our move two weeks in advance and Flash checked in several times. The day of the pick up, Flash was running late so I called. They then told me that they had decided to cancel the move and would refund my money. We had to be out of the house by the next day. Flash is horrible! I would give them a zero but the site will not allow.

    Booked with a $655.00 Deposit. They were going to call for pick-up. No call and when I called them the owner said we have been trying to reach you so we closed it out. This has been an expensive lesson. What a scam!!! They wanted to charge me almost double than original quote. Do not use this company.

    Made the mistake of booking with this broker. The carrier never called and when I contacted Flash they kept saying that their internet connection was down. The carrier they said they booked is showing as permanently closed. This has been an expensive ($500 deposit) lesson.

    I scheduled this company for an out of state relocation. I did so about a month before the move. The day they were supposed to show up I called several times asking when to expect the movers and they didn’t answer. I left several voicemails. When I did finally get to talk to someone they said they were having technical difficulties and I’d be contacted soon. I did finally get a text saying they would try to be there tomorrow (Friday) but may not until Saturday. We were given the number to the manager to speak with. He was very unpleasant on the phone and it was already a frustrating situation as we were supposed to be at our destination by this point. We ended up moving ourselves. While trying to get the refund the manager was extremely rude. This was extremely disappointing as we signed a contract for a service to be provided we never received. We will never schedule a move with them again. Save yourself the hassle and disappointment.
