  1. Do not use.

Horrible experience took advantage of the fact that I was a young woman moving by myself. Tv was stolen and the company tried to hide that fact by stuffing the empty box with one of their moving pads. Arrived over a month past schedule. I submitted a claim and had sufficient evidence. They asked me to sign a release saying they'd pay me $100 for my +$400 smart tv, but I couldn't post my negative review online. I told them to keep the $100, I'll tell everyone how their business is to save an innocent from their shady business.

  2. Criminally Bad.

I did not choose these criminals, they were subcontracted by Apollo Relocation Services, a New York-based broker.   On May 19th of this year (2015), the Greenway people arrived 12 hours late, tried to upsell me for another $750.00 in insurance by valuing bunkbeds, a table, six chairs, an old sectional sofa ans a bedroom set at more than $17,000.00 when the actual value was $7500.00.   I was expressly told it would be three days to deliver the items to Durango, Colorado.   The next day, the story changeD.  Moreover, I was informed that my belongings wer taken to Houston, some 250 miles further from their intended destination.   Even Apollo Relocation Services was surprised that the items had been taken 250 miles south.    It is now June 8th.   I have been given multiple new deadlines and a fantastic number of excuses.   Now, Greenway is refusing to answer my calls and avoiding Apollo Relocation Services representatives    I have concluded that my belongings have been lost, stolen or destroyed in the recent flooding.   I have reason to believe and do believe that they are avoiding me until such time as the claim to their insurance carrier clears so that they can turn around, pay me pennies on the dollar for my items and make a nice little profit.    Unfortunately for Greenway Express Texas, I am a civil litigator with my own law firm.    They will wish they had never heard of me.     .

  3. Worst Experience EVER.

I wish I could give NEGATIVE STARS for this company!!I'm one of those poor saps who didn't read the reviews before I dove in for my last minute move :(I'm currently still waiting on my things to arrive after a 7-10 day estimate .. it's now day 32.USA Moving Group has actually only been part of the problem, compounded by the HORRIBLE movers they contracted out to perform the actual move, GreenWay Express Texas. The pick-up time changed 4 times & was 15 hours late, arriving @ midnight, 4 hours before my flight left. I met this with patience & understanding .. Even a tip for the hard work by the team.My things were held for 30 days in storage erroneously, which I was also patient and understanding about.I never received any updates from the dispatcher or even a confirmation on the actual delivery ETA .. Again, I was patient & understanding. Most every attempt at calling the office was met with a full voicemail and I was unable to leave a message. Patience, understanding .. But now accumulating doubt. The original quote was 10-15 days.  It has now 30 days and now they are now saying that because I am not able to agree to a last minute change in terms, requesting that I wire them half of the remaining balance to a 'corporate credit card' .. that they will now take another 10-15 days .. Frustration has now taken hold.I'm currently still waiting for my things .. I will update this as soon as I hear anything new and with any suggestions/hints that I find as I stumble through this painful journey of regretful hindsight ..

  4. Very Poor customer service.

The most miserable experience ever. For starters, this co was contracted by the brokerage company American Moving Group. This started with lies and estimates just to draw me in and making me think I would save money. Not true. Never use a broker, they don't know what the company you end up using will do. They get their fee and then they don't care anymore.
So Greenway Express showed up to my house 2 days late. On the day of arrival was supposed to be at 9am, showed at 2pm. Didn't load a thing onto the truck until well after 10pm. I had to call the boss to let them know that the drivers were napping in the car. They hadn't worked ALL DAY! Stopped at 4:30 am, job not done. Promised to return next day to get the rest of the stuff-tables, couch, etc.. I had to leave to get to destination for job. They showed up 2 days later to pick up the rest of my stuff, this after many phone calls and nagging to get my house emptied.  They loaded it, didn't wrap anything more in blankets! Because I wasn't there to supervise! Put all in the truck unprotected!! Then! Loaded on another truck. Furniture was handled several times during all of this. So expect broken damaged delivery!!
All household went to STORAGE! I was told belongings would be delivered 4-5 days, then 7-9 days, on and on. It was 24 days!! Drivers showed up once, 2 weeks after pick up, to pick up my stuff, didn't find any paperwork and couldn't reach the company. They waited for 7 hours and then left for another city. I couldn't reach the company either.
The few times that the company would answer the phone, it was all lies that came out of their mouth. Lies and excuses and promises..that would not happen.
When delivery was made, 25 days later,  the guys were very friendly and careful with my belongings. Few things were missing, several things were broken or scuffed or marred. I learned at the end of the delivery that it was completed without any original paperwork at all. No inventory, no anything. Guess I'm lucky more stuff wasn't missing!
FEES WERE RAISED OUT OF THE BLUE!! When they were 1 hour from my house they let me know that I would have to pay $2500 (expected 1200) before they would deliver!! Holy CRAP! So fees were added for fuel surcharge, packing fees and various other fees. None of this was mentioned before. Shouldn't this be included within all the other thousands of dollars charged? For one, they didn't use any packing supplies other than tape..I didn't buy the blankets for $700 and didn't use THAT much tape. They didn't utilize any supplies, I packaged everything before they got there. $600 fuel surcharge? Just what IS included in the ititial thousands of $$?? I'm sure these drivers don't make all that much.
Just the lack of communication, lack of notice on fees, lack of care with my household, and 24 days to delivery..BAD BAD BAD customer service. And I am sure this is all just to draw people into using this company. EITHER company, the broker or the moving company. Very dishonest and poor service all around!!

  5. Horrible Experience DO NOT HIRE.

THis company started offering the sky to get our business but after a late arrival and with a rental truck, I knew but never expected all of the problems we would find.   The pickup although late it was ok on the first day, they left several items and they came a day later to pick them up, little that I knew that those items would never reach Denver.   When the truck arrived (on fathers day)they showed up with only 2 persons, one of them with back problems, I had to do part of the unloading, and paid for it.   the forced me to pay upfront with cash over $2000..  like everyone has that kind of money around,  this was never discussed during the negotiations.   several boxes were missing, itimes were broken,  our sofa and couch were a mess (grease stains).   After contacting them they sent me to CSI another fraudulent company that is suppose to let them know how much to pay the customer, it has been over 3 months of the claim and there is no one to answer a phone or to respond an email.  Plus the company actually charged me for 1950 cubic feet of space on their truck but only used 1720 cubic feet, also waiting for nothing.  I have tried to contact Greenway but good luck with someone actually answering the phone or calling you back..  I went thru BBB and their answer was to go to court to see if I could win.
DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY UNDER ANY REASONS..  do your homework and pay a little extra,  make sure that the company you hire at least is part of BBB.    Im sure I regret hiring Greenway Express.. wrong choice.

  6. Horrible service.

I was looking for a review online imputed my information. Few minuets later I got a call from Greenway, (Tonny) who was somewhat professional. They promise me all kinds of discounts and a set price for my move. Also they stressed the fact they did not outsource their work to partner companies which was huge lie. They not only came late to do the pick up but they literally gave my items to a independent carrier who stuffed all my items in a huge truck, breaking some of my items and not taking responsibility for it. Also they raised the price significantly and upon delivery the independent carrier asked me to pay at front before unloading my items. I will never use this company again. They completely lie and their representatives did not help me find out any information about my items after they were delivered.

  7. Poor customer service and reliablity.

I was told by thier representative that delivery would be made 2-3 days after pick up on Thursday 5/23 or early on 5/24. I called on Sunday 5/26 to see where the items were. I was told they left on 5/24. On Weds of 5/29. The items still were not here in Ohio. I called spoke with Rob one of the people at the pick up.  He denied talking to me on Sunday. Then said I did talk to him because he is the only one in on Sunday. Finally he agreed to get my mothers things here directly from Texas by Saturday 6/1.  I was given the number of the truck driver so I could check in with them. They told me they were in Louisville, KY. Then why I still didn't hear from them on Sunday. They tell me they are in Nashville. That is just a small sample of what happened. Because of all this my mother at 85 yrs has had to sleep on my couch, having 2 people help her get out of the couch. She has not been able to shower because she can not get in my tub and we do not have a shower. She has been in the same clothes for 6 days now because she only packed a few items for the trip by car to Ohio.  I have emails and texting I can provide if needed. We have had a very negative experiance to say the least. If I ever have to move long distance again I will go to a known company such as Mayflower   Sincerely Suzanne Battaglia.
