Excellent experience
We've moved a lot over the years and have always preferred Mayflower. This time was by far the best of the best. The crews were polite, friendly, helpful and respectful in handling our goods. Herlihy was so committed to making our move happen on time and without problems that we had an owner participate in our pack and a general manager take the wheel to get us to our new destination. Who does that??!? All of our goods arrived in great shape. Thank you so much to Herlihy Moving and Storage for an excellent experience. James, Roman, Zach, Shane, Austin, Tayden, Marcus...We don't want to move again, but if we have to, we'll be calling you!
Buyer Beware.
Awful people to do business with. The company was contracted to pack and move our household across the country. They disassembled a nice wooden swing set in Ohio, and destroyed it when they brought it to California. The owner told me over email that the $6 per pound insurance coverage in the contract is only used for pricing on his end, and that it doesn't cover or protect the swing set.
Terrible people to work with. I'd recommend using anybody else, because if they damage anything of yours they aren't going reimburse you for it, or be even remotely helpful. I've been corresponding with a lawyer on this during the whole process and he's amazed by their responses. Buyer beware.
