  1. Great Service & Staff !

Great company! Helped me move from a 2 bedroom in CT to MD. The guys did an amazing job loading the truck. I did get charged extra for stairs but I did not know the address for delivery when I scheduled the move. I was also able to call and check on my load whenever I had a question. Melissa was amazing and so compassionate. I would definitely use them again! Thanks again for the help.

  2. Hidden cost and very unprofessional.

Their estimate was way off and they held our belongings hostage for 30 days. In their contract it says they stand by their estimate. Not the truth. We gave them a list of 37 items and only took 34 yet our cost went up 1100 dollars. My advice to everyone is to never go with this company and to always read the fine print!

  3. Horrible company from beginning to end.

Moving from Illinois to Washington State.
They are brokers, they don’t move you.
They arrived 1 day after promised, still 2 day window
Promised things to arrive on a Friday, I called the previous Wednesday, talked to Howard and he said everything was ok for Friday
That day customer service tells me our things are in their facilities in Illinois, not even scheduled for next week and they could take up to 21 more days to arrive (they loaded the truck 10 days before that)
After a complaint they scheduled the delivery for the following Friday, but didn’t arrive until Saturday.
Only one guy comes with the truck, whom just left when he got tired without finish unloading the truck or assembling all they had to.
We lost items, got a couple of things that don’t belong to us, they broke several things, the boxes -new and good quality- were in very bad shape. They loaded and unloaded them 6 times.

They never answered any emails to cover the lost and broken items.
Between the lost and broken items, we estimate over $800 loss.

  4. No one ever showed up.

First off - HIgh Priority Movers is a broker that owns none of their own vehicles and operates zero moving crews. They either overtly lie about that or mis-characterize what they do.

So, I scheduled movers to go from a city in NY to a city a few hundred miles down the east coast (they have tons of language in their contracts about poor reviews, I don't want to have them come after me somehow) and was given a great price, only a few hundred bucks more than a U-haul and trailer.

The day of the move comes and I am told I am the first move of the day. 9:30 or so I call the company that actually moved me - they're running late and should be to me by noon. 2pm comes - call get another similar answer. 4pm - the truck has broken down and they will be to me first thing the next morning.

Still in the 2 day window so no big deal - "first thing" can be as early as 5AM - so I wake up at 6, call them at 7 - They're on their way from some undisclosed location and should be here soon. by 930 after a couple more phone calls they stop answering my calls and they go directly to a voicemail.

So I call High Priority - they tell me that the truck has broken down and that they are trying to get a replacement. Something that they apparently knew for around 30 hours at this point.

To make an already very long review shorter - they eventually tell me that they can have a truck to me by Friday night - 3 full days outside of the window.

I tell them don't bother. Thankfully I am a young able-bodied man with a friend who happened to be off that week, so I rent a U-haul and load the truck myself.

On that last phone call I am offered my money back - so I was actually feeling pretty good about the situation. I honestly was thinking I would come on here and give them a 4 star review because I don't think they were too much at fault. I wait 2 full weeks for my check in the mail and it never arrives. I'm told it was mailed to the proper address - maybe it was the first time in my adult life a piece of mail was lost, but I doubt it. Still if I had gotten the check in a week or so, still going to write a reasonable review. I finally get my refund nearly 3 weeks after the missed move and find out there is a 15% surcharge for.. for something. So I am out about $150 after having to move myself.

    My rating - a GENEROUS 2 STARS.

  5. Awful.

Kept setting back pick up and delivery dates. Rude customer service representatives. Damaged property upon delivery.

  6. A. Rashed.

High Priority movers was the worst company I have ever deal with. They are not professional. They broke my furnitures, I have lot of items missing, and they told me they will deliver my furniture three to five days. It took them to deliver my furniture for 9 days. In addition to that, They told me the price will be $1400, I ended up paying them $1800. Please stay away from them.. WORST MOVER..

  7. They quoted me less than half of the actual price.

I was told it would be $1,300. They ended up forgetting a few items and then told me the actual price is off from the quote. Then percedded to charge me $2,900. After they loaded my stuff on the truck. They said they can put it back but they would charge me $600. I was also promised that would would definitely be here on the first! It didn’t actually come until the 6th! I had to sleep on the floor for a week! And on top of everything they dropped my $5,000 tv. It still works thank god but they dropped it and hoped I didn’t see it!

  8. Warning.

DO NOT use this company!! If I could give less than one * I would .From the beginning to end the move was a nightmare. Day after day after day they told me they were coming to pick up my things, and no one called or showed up. When I called them they did not answer or return most calls. They told me they would make it up to me by way of discounting my move to no more than their cost, but when the truck finally arrived three weeks later, the driver would not unload because no one had delivered that message to him. No surprise my move was MORE than quoted, not discounted to their cost. Virtually everyone I spoke with, from dispatchers to office staff lied. One day they told me the truck was four hours away and I'd be picked up that day, later that day they said it was 19 hours away and it would be another two days. Many of my things were broken or damaged ( how do you break a wooden cocktail table?- which they packed), or missing. I have other people's belongings. When I inquired how to deal with that I was told to go to a website for the BBB. They probably count on people giving up just from sheer exhaustion of dealing with them, and wanting to be done with them. Never use this company !!

  9. Move reno to ft Myers fl.

The guys were all very nice however my stuff had a ton of breakage when it arrived. I could tell by the shape of the boxes, which were 95% all new u-haul, very sturdy boxes that they had just been thrown , and not handled with any kind of care. I would not recommend any professional company again after this. If I have to do it. I’ll drive my own truck.

  10. I see I'm one of many who have been scammed by this company.

Beware this company. I booked with them a month ago and canceled the same day as I started learning about how brokers scam you by asking for a deposit upfront and hold your inventory hostage requesting more money. I also checked with the BBB and found that they are C+ Rated, not accredited and have had seven claims in that happened between July and August 2018. I have yet to receive my deposit back. The person I was dealing with magically disappeared. I doubt he was even real as I couldn't find him on LinkedIn or Facebook.

Today they contacted me as if nothing happened indicating that they didn't know it was canceled. Fortunately, I kept the trail which I was able to forward. I then learned that there is a 15% fee if you cancel in less than 72 hours. I'll admit it was in the terms, so my bad, but I canceled within hours. 15% for what? Restocking? I know they will say that they did work, etc., but all companies provide free estimates which is all they did. The person I spoke with Tiffany said they already booked my mover which I find hard to believe since I have had no notification of this.

You can see by the rest of the reviews here that every single one of them experienced the scam I was referring to. There are plenty of other ethical companies out there to go with. Don't waste your time here. You will experience heartache and heartburn. I can only imagine what else I would have endured had I gone with this company.

  11. Incorrect quote.

I was given a specific quote and guaranteed that the amount wouldn’t change unless I falsely reported my location or items. However, the company that showed up charged me for several things high priority movers assured me I would be charged for. I have been attempting to get in contact with them about the discrepancy since August 6th and every time I call I am told the manager is out of the office but they will call me back. I have never once received a call back.

  12. A bunch of fraudsters..DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Where so I begin with this company. They promise so much just like the negative comments below. I agree with all the one star rates on this page. Alex, Sal, Dan, and some rude arrogent lady names Tiffany. They blame each other and a different person calls you each time. I was quoted for weight and I have proof. At the time of purchase up the hired a 3rd party vendor who has even horrible rating and they took all our stuff on to the truck and then told us we will be paying by cubic square feet and if we give them cash they will knock off a few thousand dollars. These people try not to pay taxes on thier income by only collecting cash. They said the DOT requires 21 business for a move. We are at 23 business days, which is way over a month and no delivery. Bunch if crooks. Please do your famt a favor and never call them. You will save your a big headache, stress, and tons of money. They quoted us $3500. We got rid of half of the stuff in the estimate and we ended up paying close to $6500! They basically cornered us. I was terrified of the person they sent into my home.to pick up the furniture. When I called back to speak to the person that gave me the quote and follow up..sal and Alex.. They said they don't work thier anymore. But other review I see online people are dealing with the same two guys. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

  13. Worst customer service.

If they was such a rating of a negative number this company would deserve it.
They made so many promises in terms of pick-up and delivery dates then were days and weeks before they actually showed up. All they had to say was sorry and not a mention of a discount or anything for MY inconvenience.
Also they totally underestimated my stuff so I was charged DOUBLE when they came to pick up my stuff. This is after I explained I had a few big heavy items.
I will never recommend this company to anyone.

  14. Excellent company! Made my Move easy.

I dislike moving in general whether its local or long distance. I have been through many over the years and it never gets easier. My most recent move from PA to OR had been the best ever. I selected high priority movers and immediately they had been on top of things. They were very responsive and detailed with every part of the move. Items were picked up quick, delivered on time and in one piece. The communication from them was the best I have encountered. I was notified of every step in the process and with time/date/location details. Couldn't be happier using this company for a life situation that is never easy. Would definitely recommend them for the future.

  15. Not to be trusted.

I don't think I've ever published a negative review. My wife and I both worked in the customer service industry for 4 years, so we know how hard it is to deliver top notch service all of the time. However, I urge you not to do business with High Priority Movers, or the moving company the contracted our job with, Neville and Sons Trucking (Clermont/Winter Garden, FL). I honestly don't have time to write out all of the details of how unprofessionally our situation has been handled. But here's the bottom line: our truck was loaded in Tacoma, WA, on July, 24, 2018. After a 14 hour (!!) load time, they said we had to pay 50% more than the estimate we were given the day before (!). Now, 34 days later, my wife, 3 children, and I sit in Huntsville, Alabama, in an empty house with no hope of our truck ever arriving. We have been given 4 different estimated arrival dates (Aug 1-3, Aug 7, Aug 22, and Aug 27), and all have come and gone. Today, I called the WA State Patrol, and we are now seeking legal counsel. Anyone we speak with at High Priority (Adam, Tiffany, Dan, Alexus, Sierra) handles us politely, but they are not to be trusted. Getting anyone on the phone from Neville and Sons has been next to impossible. Needless to say, I cannot discourage anyone strongly enough from doing business with either High Priority Movers or Neville and Sons Trucking.
