  1. Worst experience ever

I hired this company to move my things form MN to Seattle. The quote I was given were wrong. The driver showed up and all of a sudden the price doubled then tripled. Through out the entire process there were multiple hidden fees.

When I called they disappeared and were just bouncing me from person to person. When my things finally arrived in Seattle my items were damaged significantly. My bed was broken, Lamps broken, cabinets broken etc. I put in a claim and still have not heard back after repeated calls. Easily 3-5k worth of damage and I can't even get an apology let alone getting some compensation back.

I will continue to update this review. I do not ever fill reviews but this experience has been truly horrible and I do not want anyone to have to go through something similar.

  2. Lack of transparency and customer service

Hired this fraudulent company Oct 2020 for a PA to FL move. They contract for pick up. Move your items into storage until they assign another contract mover to pick up and proceed with delivery. An estimated 3 days to a week turned into 3 weeks to receive our furniture. No single point of contact or dpt to track our items from start to finish. Extremely poor communication. Movers who picked up our furniture and delivered them both demanded more money. Be warned your quote means nothing! They provided the worst moving experience ever. Extremely poor handling of our items. Boxes were wet and in poor shape. Damaged plates and glasses to include one of our tv stands and computer desk. There is nothing positive to share about Household Logistics.. Avoid them or become a part of a high volume of customers who took a chance than regretted using them.

  3. Have Not Received my Belongings After 5 Weeks.

**I plan to update this review at a later time to reflect the customer service from beginning to end. For now, I am focused on receiving my belongings. **

I hired Household Logistics for a cross country move from Boston, MA to San Francisco, CA. My belongings were picked up by a contract moving company on Aug 17, 2020. It has been 5 weeks and I have no idea where all my stuff is. I've filed a DOT complaint. I am so worried and stressed. Please deliver my belongings asap.

  4. Satisfied customer.

I used Household Logistics to move from New York to Daytona Beach, Florida. Movers arrived on time, showed up with gloves and face masks. The only thing I was charged additionally for was a flight of stairs, which was fair. The movers were carrying my household items down a set of stairs instead of just outside. Delivery was completed in 5 days as promised and safely. I would highly recommend them.

  5. Changing price 2 days before the move.

We Spoke with James and he gave us a quote for $9200 2 weeks ago and it supposed to be for full packaging and he told us that we just have to open the door and they will take care of everything for us we don't have to worry about anything.

2 days before the moving date Brandon call to go over inventory and he said that with his experience he need to add 20 boxes just to be on safe side and its better to be on high estimate changing the price to about $12000 and saying that no one will do my moving for the price quoted and James he is new and don't have experience as much as Brandon really? And he said they can do the move for the price quoted but they will not take everything and package everything .

Vanessa the manager called me to find a solution and make the move going and suggested to keep the original quoted price and I have to deal with the extra 20 boxes for packaging and talk to the driver to pay him extra what a great solution from a manager that her staff gave a quote and they can not honor it .

My advice for all who read this do not give any business to this company specially during this pandemic when people trying to save money and loosing their job as me I can not pay any extra money and I lost my job .

Terrible experience and customer service ?.

  6. Awesome!!

These men were very helpful with what they did. They moved countless boxes and heavy items out of the second story building very quickly. They then moved everything up four flights of stairs very effortlessly, and did so in a very fast manner. Not to mention that a lot of the furniture they moved was very large and very heavy. I am extremely happy with how gentle they were with everything, as nothing was damaged, and everything was organized properly. They were very friendly and easy to talk to. This was my first time using a moving company and I was very happily surprised with the quickness and helpfulness of these men. I highly recommend these guys to anyone looking to move anytime soon! They had incredible measurement and placement skills. These three are the supermen of moving!

  7. Horrific Experience - Unprofessional Scammers do Not Use.

My salesman James was slick enough to tell me everything I wanted to hear, and assuage my fears after confiding my concerns following a bad experience with a different company a few years back. I was assured that my price was locked in and there wouldn’t be additional fees unless I exceeded my load amount. I was promised a guaranteed 2-day window for pickup. And I was told it typically takes 5-7 business days from pickup to delivery. I received a phone called at 6pm the day before the last day of our 2-day window and was told that they didn’t have a truck for us and could offer us a refund or reschedule us for a week or two later. Mind you I have pets, 2 babies under 2 years old and my husband is military and had taken leave to help us move up there until he joins us, and our entire lives were packed in boxes already awaiting this truck. After much grievance and argument on my part, they somehow managed to pull a truck out of their you-know-wheres, and told me they would be there at noon the next day. When they weren’t there by 1 I called and was told they were running behind and would call me soon. 4.5 hours later they finally showed up, never having called or anything. The movers that arrived were rude and unprofessional and made me extremely uncomfortable. Fast forward to THREE WEEKS LATER, we finally received our stuff today (we were beginning to think we’d been robbed). The ONLY positive about our experience was that the movers who delivered our belongings were respectful, courteous and delightful to work with. They as well as us were upset about the way that the movers who picked up had carelessly wrapped our furniture items. Our daughters PRICELESS collectors edition bedroom set that is no longer made was absolutely destroyed. We will be filing a claim which I’m sure will be a hassle, and regardless it can’t be replaced.. our only hope is that someone can restore it. Items from our load were missing and nowhere to be found on the truck. We were charged nearly 1K additional for things that we were told were included, such as wrapping furniture, stairs, etc. Not only would I never use or recommend anyone use this company again, but they honestly should be facing legal repercussions for the way they do business. I will be pursuing further legal action as well as reporting them to the BBB. See below photos of the heartbreaking condition our daughters previously pristine Disney princess collectible bedroom set was delivered to us in. This set was a family heirloom that our daughter was supposed to be able to pass down to her own children one day, and now it is destroyed.

  8. Scam/unprofessional/ Run.

Review from my sister: Marissa Taylor

I was extremely disappointed by the service provided. I was frustrated by the poor and inaccurate initial estimation. They quoted me a price for 25 medium boxs(told me to get them from Home Depot) and my three larger items. King size bed frame. Couch, and recliner. Quality assurance was supposed to call to go over inventory, but no one called. I had to call repeatedly and never got the same person. My inventory was 13 medium boxes and my three large items. They told me it would be an extra $400 because it took up more space then estimated. My inventory was less then what was estimated. I called the day after to talk to someone and just get a run around. I was appalled by the lack of communication to coordinate arrival for pick up all the way to delivery. The mover promised to call and to provide updates, but I had to be the one constantly calling them. The night before at 5pm I got a text saying the time frame for pick up..VERY unprofessional. I was surprised by the unforeseen expenses that were not clarified in the beginning. They will not provide me with a itemized receipt, I have yet to receive my items.

  9. Horrible! Horrible Company! Scam Artist!!

DO NOT USE THIS CROOKED, UNPROFESSIONAL, CON ARTIST company by the name of Household Logistics!..they are the ABSOLUTE WORST!! They are 100% CROOKS!! If I could rate them a negative 5 stars, I would!!

Trust and believe, the positive reviews you see on this page are FAKE!! DO NOT be fooled by the 5 star reviews..they are not real customers! Please scroll down and read the REAL 1 star reviews!!

First of all, Household Logistics is not even a moving company, so all the fake reviews about how wonderful they were with moving their furniture is a total lie!! They subcontract moving companies to move your furniture and then Household Logistics are done with you!

This is truly a CROOKED company!!

The minute Household Logstics takes your money and subcontract one of their HORRIBLE moving companies, (we had "All American Movers", who are CROOKS as well) to move your furniture, Household Logistics could care less about you or your furniture any longer!!

This company is fake, their contracts are fake, their employees are rude and not helpful at all..especially Vanessa!..she is useless! Vanessa, who Cori Phillips and I kept speaking with about our issue, says she will call back with some information about your furniture, and then she NEVER calls back! She's part of the whole crooked scheme!!

Household Logistics subcontracted All American Movers to pick up our furniture on May 10, 2020 from North Carolina, to be delivered by May 15, 2020 to Arkansas. EVERY week All American Movers had lies, after lies, after lies, on why we had not received our furniture (2 MONTHS LATER), or we could NEVER get ahold of anybody to speak with..and Household Logistics would not help AT ALL as Cori Phillips and I tried to locate our furniture. Again..Household Logistics are no longer concerned about you or your furniture once they have your money and pawned you off to a horrible subcontracted moving company (which has worst reviews than Household Logistics themselves).

After holding our furniture for over a month, All American Movers (Subcontractors) had the audacity to try to convince Cori Phillips into paying them another $1500 so we could get our furniture sooner..CROOKS! CROOKS! CROOKS! We dared not to send these crooks another dime!!

Once our furniture FINALLY arrived, 2 MONTHS LATER, it was all broken up!! Big screen tv broken, small bedroom tv broken, beautiful wall pictures stolen, vases stolen, work desk shattered to pieces as if someone took a hammer to it, and a brand new record player stolen! STILL today Household Logistics has not offered any kind of compensation for our inconvenience or for all of our broken/stolen furniture..they have only offered some compensation IF WE TAKE DOWN THESE VERY TRUE 1 star negative reviews! NO INTEGRITY AT ALL!! This company needs to be shut down!

Household Logistics has AWFUL reviews at the Better Business Bureau (BBB) as well, please do your research! I wish we had researched that previously before using these CROOKS!! But I don't want anybody else to have to go thru this nonsense as we did.

And last but not least..when they finally arrived at my home for delivery (2 MONTHS LATER), they would not open the truck until we paid them the final payment in cash..not even to look at our furniture to see if it was in good condition! We ended up calling the cops. They didn't want to open the truck because they knew my furniture was all broken!! STRAIGHT UP CROOKS!! RUN FAR AWAY!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

This has been a NIGHTMARE!! And trust me HOUSEHOLD LOGISTICS..it's not over yet!!

STAY FAR! FAR! FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!! I REPEAT..THEY ARE NOTHING BUT CROOKS, SCAM ARTIST, LIARS and just straight up THIEVES!!

This is not a company that works with morals or integrity! STAY AWAY!!

  10. "Scammers, Racist, Scum".

“Avoid this Company at all cost" You will be Scammed"

These are brokers, that give you reasonable estimates by cubic feet in their contract which states the 1st payment as the down payment and the 2nd payment plan of 50% and the final payment 50% on delivery. Days later the Moving Company Pioneer Moving & Storage called me gave me the date for pick-up. At pick-up all my items were taken out and so called evaluated for cost of cubic feet, my bill went from $ 1500.00 an estimate with the same items with Household Logistics to now over $3,000.00 with the Pioneer Moving Company that they assigned to move me.

My items had already been taken out and now instead of the 50% at pick up Pioneer wants 70% down over $1600. I reported this to Household Logistics and was told that after speaking with Pioneer that was price gouging, I would receive a credit in the amount of $ 612.00 and at delivery it would be a balance $ 114.00. Needless to say, that didn't happen. When my items were delivered days later ,I was told by the Pioneer moving company ,if we didn't pay the full balance plus the additional charge for more than 75 feet an extra $100.00 our belongings would go to storage then get auctioned off.

We contacted Household Logistics to straighten out this dispute and was told by our direct contact person that the credit is now null and void!

We had to call the police due to Pioneer Moving company using profanity and racial annotations to make sure there would be no physical altercations.

This was the most horrific racist, unprofessional experience that I had in my life. Household Logistics has no morals or integrity.. This is your warning!

"DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY".

  11. St Louis to Texas.

Quote was half of what cost would have been but for the fact I only took half of what I originally stated. I was literally told I would have my furniture in 2-4 days because they can only drive 500 miles per day. 4 days without a call I phoned them (now with a third party) and was told 4-10 business days! I’m handicapped and was sleeping on someone’s couch! I received it 15 days after first picked up. I did receive everything in good condition. I thank American Movers for this. I am fine with people not speaking English but I think one of the two movers should be able to communicate clearly which was not the case picking up or delivering. One of the men acted mad that I expected him to set up my bed. It was part of the contract and again, he could see I am handicapped. Suggestion to all: no matter who you choose get firm quote for all of the truck space you need to pay for and do not expect your furniture quickly.

  12. Lies lies lies.

Buyer Beware!! This company Household-Logistics is not what you want to move with. They are not a moving company. They choose the lowest price moving company they can find so they can make the most profit. I was told a team would call me to double check my inventory, I never received a call. In the contract email,it said I would hear from their team 48 hours prior to the first available day, never heard a thing.

We moved out of state and the salesman told me it would be 3 days from the time it was picked up and delivered to my new address. 5 weeks later we still did not have our stuff. After they have your money, they don’t care at all. 6 Weeks later we had our stuff damaged, stuck with a higher bill than originally quoted, and were missing a flat screen TV that was never “found”. ADVICE: Go with an actual moving company & not a broker!!

  13. Disorganized and untruthful.

In my experience with Household Logistics I can't find a single positive thing to say about them as a moving organization. I was quoted a price and I paid a $800+ deposit. I was told a team would call me to confirm my inventory, I never received a call. In the contract email I was given directions saying I would hear from their team 48 hours prior to the first available day, never heard a thing. I then called them to ask "what's going on?", I was told a truck will be there tomorrow, no truck showed. They told me oops we made a mistake. Said "we will have a truck there in a week." I said that's to late, I had informed them at the time of contract that I had to leave town by a certain date so that I could drive cross country to my school orientation. The new pickup date was past the date that I needed to leave for my drive. My deposit was not refunded and I was forced to rent a UHaul and drive 2600 miles towing my car. Do not trust this company. They are a third party broker not an independent moving company and have no control over the trucks and cannot guarantee any dates and you deposit will not be refunded. I reserved my date 3 months in advance and gave them a 2 week window of availability for pickup.

  14. Recent Relocation to California.

I couldn't say enough good things about Household Logistics and their team. John and Shane were great from the beginning. Their work ethic and professionalism sets them apart from any other moving company. They packed everything with great care, took time to understand the scope of the move, and checked in often to make sure we were satisfied with how things were going. All in all we had a great experience with them and I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to move across country. Ask for John or Shane when you call.

  15. Awesome Moving Experience!

This is the first big move I have ever had to do, and I was very nervous and didn't know much about the process. When I started speaking to Household Logistics, my mind was put to ease. They were very patient with all of my concerns regarding moving companies and answered all of the questions I had (which, trust me, were a lot). Customer service works 24hrs and so I even got my questions answered outside of business hours! They made this process amazingly stress free - my move from Maine to Florida went better than I could have imagined! I would highly recommend this company to anybody looking for a great mover!
