  1. MO to WA, load in NC no delivery in 5 weeks, no one will return calls.

My items were picked up in Missouri to head to Washington state. However apparently my belongings were taken to North Carolina to eventually make it to Washington. Why? Why go east to head west? That was end of Aug 2018. It is now October 2nd 2018. For three weeks I cannot reach anyone and just give voice mail messages daily. No courtesy call back, brokers can’t reach them nor the owners, no information at all. I am no seeking legal means most likely, calling law enforcement in NC and flying myself down to NC in person. Do not use this company. Ever.

  2. Worst Moving Company *DO NOT USE THEM.

A Scheduled pack and move for just down the road, for an elderly woman with cancer and they never showed up. She was to be moved out by a certain date. We called, kept getting rerouted, hung up on and even transferred without a acknowledgement from the person answering the phone. I finally got the supervisor in CS and she would only wright a email to the dispatch department. She was very rude and could only say they had to reroute the elderly customer. They had no answer for why 3 days have [passed since they did not show up or call her to tell her a new date for pack and move. This is such a shameful company! Now the lady has to hire a new company that will charger her more for last minute scheduling. She had this move scheduled way ahead to make sure there were no problems and they treated her as if she was a nuisance so I called them and was treated the same way. I left a message for the dispatch department supervisor and have not had a resolution. My husband works for a company that uses movers daily and he told me to use two brothers. I guess we should have listened.. BAD, BAD, CUSTOMER SERVICE and they don't care..

  3. Durham office.

I wrote a review below on the main office but Michael from the Durham Office called me and fixed the problem so far, he is the operations manager that is franchised owned for J & M Relocation. He was super apologetic for the people in the main office so I guess don't call the main number to get stuff fixed when you have a problem because Michael was able to fix it in 5 minutes and he was very professional and concerned for the customer. He was also concerned for the way the main office (1-855-5019393) supervisor that is setting his company up for failure, she was awful. As well as he will bring issue to the owner.. Thanks to Michael for fixing this..

  4. J&M Relocation LLC and Moving APT.

Read all of the reviews below - Horrible Horrible Horrible
I have been waiting for my household goods since the pick up date of 8/21. NO Delivery Yet!
The Operations Manager Mike Cobb - sent two college kids with a rental truck, No Dolley?? They had to hand load the whole truck.
    Not TV Boxes as ordered.

After further research, they are not licensed by the Department of Transportation!!
    Do Not USE Ever!!

  5. [EDIT] movers.

We moved from Joplin mo to surprise az we packed our own stuff carefully in uhaul boxes bubbled wrapped everything, we shrink wrapped our valuables like china cabinet and entertainment center, white glove vanlines contracted j&m relocations to move our items, didn't relize at the time what a mistake this was.
they were suppose to arrive on may 7th but didn't come till may 8th at like 3 in the after noon verses the 11 am they promised.
theyloaded our items ina budgettruck 1/2 the size we needed. tjey didn't put blockers up to prevent it grom falling or getting dammaged.
they weighed tje truck empty lrior tp or pick up. after loading tjey contacted me saying it was 600 poundsover the limit tjey said and vharged me 300 more for 100 cubic ft difference cuz they packed it sloppy they took my items to thier whare house in dyurham nc.

after calling for 2week trying finding out when they were going to deliver they kept delaying our move from may 21, to the 29,th then it was suppose to be june 3rd, finally received partial of my items on june 9th, not knowing at the time when they arrived and before opening the truck wanted full payment which they received, to my surprise when they opened the shady budget truck they had I seen some of my boxes that were thrown around and damaged as I noticed as they were unloading that their were items not even mine, none of my furniture made it, I had damaged boxes and washer and dryer, only 31 items of 80 were delivered they piggy backed with another load, so I mentioned to the drivers these were not my items they called their dispatcher and then they apologized but not sympathetically,

I immediately got on the phone with the owner joe and he said this would all be fixed and all know what's going on before they leave on what will happen, well to my surprise the owner joe would not even give my back at least one of my money orders which was half the payment till the other stuff arrived , which is unprofessional of them to except full payment for non items received I agreed to give them half and I keep the other half but he said no , I refused to sign the paper for delivery its now almost 2 months since they picked up my items and 1 month since partial delivery and their still screwing around with my stuff they don't answer their calls or texts unless I blow up their phone.
well its a 2 months later and get my other half of my delivery they left behind. careless workers dropped my plastic container that was carefully bubbled wrapped and broke a sentimental crystal bowl that was my moms that could never be replaced with no sympathetic apology
I told the owner what they did and his reponse was file a claim form when I told him the worth of it he said im not paying that
all they did was comensate 200 off for thier delayed move
so we filed a claim form and I was informed they are sending it back for missed information when it was carefully filled out according to thier directions on tbe form with copies of the itimized list of damaged items, the conract form & delivery form which we made copies of everything and kept it for this purpose because wehad a feeling they would delay or not paying for damaged items wich thier 0.60 cents per pound isn't worth tje damaged They did
they broke the top glass to my china cabinet covering it up with thier own blankets when we discovered it the next day cuz They delivered at night and it was hard to see with flash lights and my headlights to my car facing our storage unit , so they took off the layer of bubble wrap & shrink wrap to my china cabinet and as I said they covered it up with thier blanket and not sayinga word about it,
they broke the bottom legs off my china cabinet, and put a hole in my ottomon of my chaise to my sectional couch.

my advice is DONT USE J&M RECLOCATIONS .
anyone who has issues with this company I suggest u file with fmcsa stands for federal moter carrier safty association (fmcsa.dot.gov/hhg/sea…?) its a website to complain about trucking companies who don't fallow thru and they can be investigated, unfortantly I had to rate with one star as it wouldn't let me so I rate them -10000000, plz don't make the same mistake we did , we went thru white glove vanlines who booked these [EDIT] to move our stuff and now they say its out of their hands, white glove got same review and a complaint to the (ai.fmcsa.dot.gov/hhg/sea…?) this company should be called [EDIT] movers

below is some reviews I found on other websights, to prove this companyour scam artist just thier names are deleted for thier privacy

    in Stem NC United States.

On April 19, 2018 I called J & M Relocation Co. and spoke with Lesley Phillips to schedule my move. The date reserved was May 25th, 2018. She told me there would be someone calling me the day before the move to advise me of the arrival time. She also collected $76.16 as a reservation fee. No one called me on 24 or 25 May to give me the arrival time.

I called the company about 8 am on Fri the 25th and was told the crew would be at my house before 10 am. When no one showed up at 10, I again called the company and was told the crew was running late and would be at my house in 15-30 minutes. No one showed, so I called the company again at 12 and was told the crew was on the way and would be at my house within the hour. When no one showed up I called two more times that same day and was finally told that they couldn’t move me on the 25th but would be at my house Sat. the 26th at 10 am.

The same scenario followed as the day before; told the crew was on the way on three occasions but again no one showed up. I was in the process of selling my home and needed to have all the furniture removed that weekend. I told the various people I talked with at the company about the necessity to clear out my house that weekend.

I finally rented a uhaul truck and two moving guys from uhaul to help me mvery on Monday 28 May, Memorial Day. J & L Relocation company never called to offer a reschedule date. I called them Tue 29 May to ask that the $76.16 reservation fee be refunded. The person at the company told me the finance department would refund my money that day. I have not received the refund. I need help getting this money refunded. All I get when I call them is more lies.

    Cost: $3,600
Interstate move from Charlotte, NC to Massachusetts
This company was chose for me, without my permission, from a broker company I was using called Open Road Moving and Storage. Run from this company please, they charged me three times what was he agreed upon price and held my possessions hostage saying they wouldn’t deliver if I didn’t pay. So I had to pay $3500 to get my stuff dropped off almost 4 weeks after it was picked up yet I was told it would take 10 days maximum. They have college kids who load and unload your stuff with no experience. Also they “lost” my 60 inch flat screen tv, 4 large boxes filled with expensive pillows, sheets, blankets, towels, a wall clock and other various items as well as damages on the items that were delivered. And the “operation manager” Michael Cobb is a snake who has consistently lied to me and then goes weeks purposely ignoring calls and texts after he told me 3 separate times they misplaced my items in their warehouse and that they would be on the next truck up. After all this they items they thought were mine weren’t even mine and he finally said they don’t know where my items are and that I can file a lost claims for for “60 cents per pound” aka nowhere near the value of my goods. This guy deserves to get backhanded for the way he runs this horrible company and it’s not even a year old. Please learn from my mistakes and run far away from this pathetically run company.

Interstate move from Roswell, GA to Raleigh, NC
RUN, from this moving company! I hired JM Relocation of Durham, NC thru a mover brokerage firm recommendation because I thought they were a professional company. I was wrong. They did not return calls concerning time schedules, claims for damaged goods, overcharges or provide delivery receipts for funds paid.

They showed up 4 hours late for pick up. The destination delivery was 1 day late per contracted date and confirmed by pick up delivery driver. Communications was terrible as no one could provide status information all phone calls go direct to voice mail with no return response..

Overcharge for cubic foot truck capacity. Truck capacity for
26-foot truck is 1,800 cubic feet of which we were contracted for 1,356 cubic foot for binding estimate of cost and charged with shipping addendum increasing the costs by additional 800 cu ft. The combined total is 2,156 cubic feet and the truck full capacity is 1,800 cubic feet resulting in an overcharge of 356 cubic feet @ $1.96 per cubic feet.

Damaged goods. It is our opinion the items were damaged in Durham at their facility during the off-loading from the Georgia. The pickup and reloading was observed as a hastily crammed packed truck with metal items stacked on wood items before delivery to our destination. Their team wrapped and loaded the listed items in Georgia to included disassembly of the beds with no noted damage. Also, they could not reassemble the king bed during delivery due to damage to the side rails. They did not unwrap (left wrapped as delivered on location) numerous items that were wrapped by pickup team in Georgia to include the 2nd bedroom night stands, dressers, desks, book shelfs and kitchen table and reassembly of table.

We want this business to read this review and look into the issue. We are overall dissatisfied with JM Relocation. The most disappointing about this moving company from JM Relocation was no customer service provided with, but we liked the workers they worked hard. Reviewer wants customer support to reach out to for further discussion of this matter.

  8. Raleigh-Wisconsin.

I was moved by J&M from Raleigh to lacrosse Wisconsin. I don’t usually take the time to write reviews but I told the guys that moved me I would leave an honest review about their service. They were absolutely extraordinary, and this didn’t stop at just the movers. Every single aspect of my move was remarkable, the communication and honesty that the company shared with me is the best I’ve received from any moving company (8th long distance move in 10 years). I wouldn’t reccomend any other moving company nor will I move with another.
