Very disappointed.
On July 9 I called Jimmy Casper Co & spoke to Billy Grace. I made arrangements for a crew to be at my home on August 1 at 9:00 a.m. to unload a 15' truck for me. I even prepaid.
On July 31 I realized I had had no confirmation call, so I called - got voice mail - left message - no return call. On August 1 at about 8:00 I called again - same thing. I called back I think close to 10:00 wanting to know where they were - same thing again. I got online & found a site where I could fill in some info & send a message. I did that asking where my help was. I finally got a text from a Jason saying I wasn't on their schedule. I explained that I'd booked it on July 9 & even prepaid. He said he'd see what he could do - finally texted me back that someone would be here around 4:00. I texted him & asked him to call me - he didn't. I texted him & asked if he needed my address - he never replied, so I just texted it to him. In the meantime I opened the truck up & unloaded about 20% of it myself until it got to the bigger heavier things. Two young men finally arrived just before 5:00 & got things unloaded for me. (I also helped them with some of the smaller lighter things.) So, I do believe that I should be entitled to at least a partial refund when all things are taken into consideration. But of course, when I try to call their number, all I get is voice mail. It would be nice if someone from their company would contact me & try to resolve this issue. I am not a happy camper! (By the way - I am a 70 year old female).
Just what I needed!
Two nicely dressed men showed up 20 mins early. Helped finish packing my things free of charge and loaded me up way faster than I thought it would have been. Very respectful with big smiles on their faces the entire time. With choosing a random moving company not knowing what to expect, it's always a little iffy. Really I landed on jimmy Casper co because of their very competitive prices. Although I hate moving, I'll definitely be looking for these guys next time I move!
