Joat Moving Hauling & Delivery

Unprofessional and unethical.

Hired to move heavy stuff that I could not. Told him we needed to shoot for no more than 5 hrs. Sofa, loveseat, wardrobe, heavy coffee table/end tables, two bed sets, and some heavy boxes and totes. Insisted on loading unnecessary boxes before heavy items assuring me he could get everything he loaded, unloaded. After 3 hrs. of loading boxes one at a time, I had to insist that he load the heavy items I hired him for. Got to new apt. after 5 hrs. of loading, leaving only 2 hrs. to unload because he said he had to leave for another job. After an hour of unloading, he decided it would take 3 more hours, which he did not have. I reminded him that I did not want boxes loaded, and my sofa, love seat, heavy table, wardrobe and 4 cabinets were still on the truck, along with the boxes he insisted on loading first. Promised he would come back Sun., NO SHOW. Promised he would come back Mon., NO SHOW. Uhaul sat in my drive for 3 days. I had rented a 26 footer at his insistence and did not feel confident enough to drive it. Plus, I could not unload all the heavy stuff. I ended up loading the truck with boxes all day Mon.,waiting for him to show. Did 3 times the amt. of boxes as those two guys did in the same amt. of time. And I am a 56 yr. old woman! Had to get friends to bail me out. A 57yr. old man, 53yr. woman, a 12yr. old boy and myself unloaded all the stuff left on the truck and at LEAST a hundred more boxes in same amt. of time. Do not trust him. He is a liar and a cheat. He decides how much money he wants to make off you and takes his time. He was not in the best physical condition. Overweight and often stopping to rest, catçh his breath and complain about his bad knees. All he cared about was snooping in my boxes because he sells stuff on ebay. I just wish I had some sort of recourse. Live and learn..
