1. Absolutely our worst move ever.

   After a quote of $3050, our belongings were loaded and then we were hit with demand for $4000 more. Delivery was scheduled for 5 days but took 13 and no one at the company could update us on when we would see our shipment. Then when delivered our items were stowed wherever the crew wanted to drop them. Much of what was labeled for house ended up in the barn, even boxes of food. To top it off, 3 items never showed up and customer service has not returned calls. I am on the edge of legal action. We entered the contract and they were known as Silver Moving and somehow in the midst of the move they became Legacy Movers. Do not use this mover!

2. New owner.

   I used this company before and we didn't have an exciting experience but the NEW owner seems to have wanted to make things up by offering money for our damaged goods. I sent him a list and costs of what was damaged and he said "HIS" insurance will cover it. The damages were over 2000 dollars and "HIS" insurance only gave me 200 bucks. hahaha the guy seemed agitated that this new company that he bought has TONS Of bad reviews and I think he will continue to do bad business. steer clear of this company.

   Thank you guys so much for helping me with the move! That was my first time using professional movers and I didn't have any idea it would be so hard to book a moving company on short notice. All the places I called were booked in advance, including Legacy Movers. I figured the last resort was to do the whole move myself, but luckily, these guys called me back a day later saying they got a cancellation on my day, so I booked them!
   
   I can't tell you how happy I was to get them for my move. My movers were on time and fully ready to rock! They got everything done in just four hours and were able to manage my huge couch hoisting from the second floor.
   
   If you need a move, Legacy Movers is the way to go! Make sure you book your move at least week in advance or you might not get as lucky as me with a last minute cancellation. Moving isn't easy, but these guys know how to do it right!

4. What a great company!! They were super careful.

   What a great company!! They were super careful with our belongings and very courteous. It was a grueling move that took around 8 hours and three flights up to move out of the apartment and three flights up to move to the new house.
   
   Legacy Movers company doesn't charge a fee to drive back to their office unless it's more than 10 miles and they don't charge fees for stairs. Hopefully I won't have to move again in a long while but when I do, I will certainly call them up again!

5. Good company.

   I always see people complaining that their movers just didn’t show up on the moving day. I thought they were just rubbish, until it happened to me. I got stood up by the local moving company I hired and even a million phone calls couldn’t make their [EDIT] bring over. I called my friend while I was having a panic attack and he said that he’d call legacy movers to try to get a crew. Amazingly, they could fit me in and sent over a crew immediately. The crew arrived within a short time and packed up all my belongings quickly. The loading process went smoothly and they delivered right on schedule as well. I should have just hired them from the beginning. These men were seriously my knights in ironed uniforms!

   The movers from legacy movers are professional and simple to work with. It was my first move with a moving company and I truly am impressed by their help. Leaving the responsibilities of a move on their shoulders provides a complete peace of mind for anyone who's dealing with a lot of stress moving coast to coast! I’m very happy with the services they provided me and will surely recommend them.

7. Great company.

   The crew sent from legacy movers was very professional. You can trust me on that. When I hired them a couple of months back, they serviced me nothing short of perfection. The relocation services were great. I enjoyed every single minute of the relocation. All my valuables were delivered undamaged and I owe these guys big time just for that!

8. The best company.

   I figured I would hire a moving company that is at the top of their game. I recently hired legacy movers to handle my relocation and I was absolutely surprised seeing how efficient and professional these guys are! From their timing to their skills, everything was top notch. It took the movers such a small time to finish loading everything from my house. Not even a glass was delivered broken! The fierce competition also meant a low quote for me. I don’t know whether it was the competition or years of experience that made this company so efficient. Either way, they were a treat to me.

9. The best company.

   I had to move after living in one house for a long time. So, naturally I had gathered many pieces of furniture and other items that needed to be moved with me. I hired Legacy Movers Inc to take some of the stress of relocation off my shoulders. They did that and more. They quoted me quite rationally and sent over 4 men on the moving day. They were all very experienced and efficient. Everything was taken care of with absolute precision. They packed and loaded everything very fast. And they delivered all my belongings in fantastic condition. This company is very professional and I will sure hire them again if I have to relocate.

10. Moving from Florida to New York.

    The movers showed up on time and went right to work. The crew was unbelievable. They worked hard all day and despite our being a little unprepared for the move, they had us all packed up at the end of the first day. I'd say they handled the situation quite well.
    The second day, the crew finished packing up items we had forgotten from the first day and then loaded the truck. Everything was handled carefully and protected properly. No damages. There was one full truck load and a few odds and ends that we agreed to take ourselves.
    The move in was smooth and quick. No damage. The entire payment was made after the move was completed and was in the amount expected. Boxes and packing materials were extra but not exhorbinant.

11. Dreadful moving experience.

    We moved our daughter across country. Our experience was worse than awful. They promised our possessions in nine days but did not deliver for TWO MONTHS and, then, only after we filed several complaints with the federal agency that regulates movers. When our things arrived, they were jammed into a corner of a huge truck-- boxes and possessions smashed (despite meticulous bubble wrapping of every item.). All power tools and other valuables were stolen. We were told every week that our possessions were "on the truck and on its way" "coming Thursday" (which required us to drive several hours to receive it only for it not to arrive), "in a warehouse in California and you have to give us more money", "in a warehouse in Texas", "in a warehouse in Atlanta", etc. We had huge extra expenses because we needed clothing (for work), a place to live, household goods during the two months we waited (besides being charged extra just to get our things back at all as they held them hostage..). Phone calls were frightening to the point that we had our daughter give out our number and block this mover's number from her phone.
    When they did show up, at ten o'clock at night, they had to wait for the local young men they had hired to come and unload the truck. They do not even have their own employees.
    Having recently read reviews about experiences exactly like ours, I am wary of the reviews with higher ratings and wonder whether they are legitimate. I only gave one star because you are not allowed to give no stars! I do not recommend this company. They were completely dishonest with us every step of the way..
    
    (Furthermore, they held themselves out as movers with their own trucks. They are not. They subcontract out and wait until they have huge loads collected in warehouses before they send. They also use aliases--both personally and as a business. They claimed to be "integrity movers" (ha!), legacy movers, tweety movers)
    
    I reiterate: they did not once tell us the truth..

12. I highly recommend the legacy movers.

    Legacy Movers were great! This was the first time I'm using a moving company and they were so patient, prompt, and reasonable. They made the process very easy and took care of all paperwork.
    
    On moving day, we had Yohannes and Kyle, two of the nicest movers I've ever met. And they're so quick too! They scheduled one pick, two drops offs in four hours, and they were ten minutes early in finishing! Thanks again, guys!

13. I recommend Legacy Mover.

    I've gotta say, these guys are amazing.
    
    I had a great experience, I'll try them again, so called them first and got a very competitive price (shopped around to all the other movers in the area - only a couple hundred more for all my extra furniture) - so booked them hassle free in 15 minutes on the phone. great customer service, efficient and clearly know what they're doing
    
    now moving day - huge snowstorm, visibility of basically nothing and a sheet of horizontal snow outside my window. they called once before they were 30m out, brought a crew of 8 people and moved out an entire 2br (couch, tables, bedroom, tv's, chairs, 50 gorilla boxes) without blinking. they loaded everything up in about 1.5hr - carefully packing and wrapping every piece. even small details, which I appreciate - like taping each end of custom glass I made for a coffee table so the cushion pads wouldn't fall off in the move!
    
    they were professional, clean, efficient - no hidden costs, no hassle whatsoever. I just sat on the counter while everything was being done (in a snowstorm, may I remind you) and wrote this review.
    
    second time move went so well, I'd definitely recommend Legacy Mover for a solid price and unbeatable service.

14. Good job, I recommend them.

    We decided to check out legacy movers because we often saw their trucks driving around Hoboken and we are SO glad we did.
    
    Although they rarely pick up the phone, they always returned phone calls or emails in a timely manner. Our estimate was done quickly and they also made sure to get proof of insurance to our building well in advance of our move. On moving day we had the pleasure of working with Carlos, Jason and Sal and we couldn't have been happier! They were quick, professional, friendly and handled every item with care.
    
    They finished the move in our estimated time (3 hour minimum) so we didn't need to deal with the hassle of paying for overtime. And SO happy with the price!! I also have to thank them for helping us move some pieces into my mom's car. They helped us wrap the glass portions so she could drive them home in one piece.
    
    So sweet and thoughtful and just an overall view into how great these guys were.
    
    Telling every friend to give them a call for their next move.

15. This has been by FAR my best moving experience.

    This has been by FAR my best moving experience in Miami. They were able to schedule me on very short notice and did an amazing job.
    
    As soon as they got there they got straight to work and didn't take any breaks - they were always moving and trying to get me to my new apartment as fast as possible. No damage to any of the boxes or furniture. They even went out of their way to help me get rid of an old futon I had.
    
    After having dealt with other movers (where every single time it was one guy in charge who would complain about his co-worker, claim that he is doing all the work and straight up ask for a bigger tip), I can say I will definitely be using Legacy Movers since they charge the same as the other guys, but get you moved faster and in a much more professional manner.
