Great service and flexibility.
Getting ready for second move with this team. I recommend them often. They are very flexible and responsive. We were very pleased with the actual movers who worked very efficiently (wasted no time) and we had nothing at all damaged. Handled our grand piano with great care, too.
Recent move.
I would NOT recommend this company! The service we received was below unsatisfactory and extremely unprofessional. The movers arrived 2 hours late and took over 7 hours to complete our move. They were extremely slow paced and even argued amongst themselves. Multiple pieces of furniture were damaged as well as door frames and walls. The movers tried charging for additional time (even though they were slow) and asked for tip money. They also left a box of someone else's belongings in our driveway. After 2 days, the owner still has not returned phone calls to address complaint and damaged items.
HORRIBLE experience!! Moving is stressful enough without having the added stress of movers who simply don't care about others belongings and providing a service that a customer is paying for!!

For the 4th year in a row, Margaret's Moving and Storage will provide instrumental support to the Louisville Marine Toys for Tots program. Last year, the Toys for Tots program provided over 70,000 toys to just over 21,000 children in the Jefferson, Oldham, Shelby, and Spencer county area through the great assistance of Margaret's Personnel and Trucks at no cost to our organization. In addition, Margaret's Moving and Storage joined the Honor Flight Bluegrass team and is directly responsible for the storage and delivery of the wheelchairs used to transport the WWII, Korean, and Vietnam veterans to their respective memorials in Washington, DC. Again, Margaret's personnel and trucks are used for the safe handling of this precious equipment and is the VERY REASON WHY YOU SHOULD MAKE YOUR NEXT MOVE with Margaret's Moving and Storage.

As a full time student time is very hard to come by, Maragret's was easy to contact and were very helpful in scheduling a time to work around my schedule. I was also able to speak to Maragret directly and she was extremely kind and instructive. Customer service was very quick to contact me and send me an estimated cost before I had to pay anything, and instructions were very clear and easy to comprehend. I would recommend do anyone.

Couldn't be more pleased.
I recently used Margaret's Moving & Storage services for an in-town move and simply couldn't be more pleased. My opinion comes from the following experience..First, they were definitely less expensive than their competitors and their pricing was clear from the beginning. No hidden fees, or surprise additions or last minute surcharges. (I've heard nightmare bills from friends using other movers.) Second, the friendliness of the office staff was impressive, answering my every question in a timely manner, and with professionalism and courtesy. I was made aware of the rules, what could and could not be handled, how damages would be handled if necessary, etc. I was given helpful guidelines to ensure a smooth move and I followed them. Also, when I called because the closing on the new home was being postponed last minute, they adjusted our schedule move with ease and calmed my nerves. Third, the moving crew was phenomenal. On time and ready to work! They were 100% prepared for the job and even worked with me in the areas I wasn't quite ready for them to load up. This was 3 full trucks - not a tiny job! They were efficient and ran like a well oiled machine. We could tell they had worked together many times before. My belongings were wrapped and cared for with zero damages. I've moved 6 times before this, some using movers, some doing it ourselves, and this was the very FIRST time with no breakage or damages! I EXPECTED glass breakage..it always happens..it's glass for goodness sake. But not this time! I was so impressed, I recommended my sister to them and she had just as positive an experience! I highly recommend Margaret's Moving. I won't bother calling anyone else should I move again.
