  1. Fantastic movers! Great experience!

    I’ve used Matt’s Movers several times and have recommended them to people. ALWAYS a great experience. Their moving teams are friendly and efficient, get to work and get it done fast and efficient.

    It helps if you are organized and ready to go the day of your move. I don’t expect a moving company to be waiting around on me while I still pack. You pay them to move you, not wait around while you pack your belongings.

    Matt’s is highly professional, has great crews and gets the job done fast. Highly recommend.

  2. Great Experience!

    Our moving day was incredibly smooth, thanks to Matt’s Moving. The customer service was flawless, the three guys who loaded our furniture and boxes were polite and efficient, and everything was delivered and moved into our condo in perfect condition! Our realtor recommended this company and we are very grateful that he did.

  3. Terrible Employees

    Minneapolis Moving staff sucks. I've had the joy of having them leave twice because we were packing the kitchen still.on top of that after I figured all was good on the third day things are moving the guys seem ok I go home to leave my father with his move and the movers take off with a half loaded truck because my father wasn't ready for them to take his dresser yet... whole house to move and they a having a tantrum over a dresser with may I add is full and my father is taking the drawes out of.

  4. The Worst Ever.

    This is by far the worst moving experience I’ve ever had. The mover’s were rude to me, damaged my bed removed the mattress protector before they dragged it on the grown, which they also assembled incorrectly. Out of a 3 man crew two of them spent most of their time hanging outside of the truck doing nothing. I confronted the mover about the damage and he essentially accused me of complaining because I was black. I called Matt’s to request reimbursement for the damages and an apology for the poor treatment by their staff. I had the dishonor of speaking to Micha who refused to provide me with the contact information for their insurance provider and told me they handle their own claims and do not use an independent provider. It was so stressful I finally just gave up and replaced the damaged items myself. Anywhere else would be better.

  5. Document Everything.

    Crew severely damaged leather sofa, bent a bed frame, and falsified contract documents. They stated they were there 1.25 hours longer than they actually were. They blamed us for the damage to the couch saying we ripped it moving it from the center of the room to the wall rather than them causing the damage forcing it through a doorframe. Had Matt come out to look at the damages and talk about the situation and found him to be condescending. He promised to get back to me the next day (took 3 days) and said he would "make it right".

    We have been working with them for over 3 weeks and still have not received compensation. I also find their policy of compensating destroyed items by weight ridiculous. We could never replace a leather couch for the $162 we were offered.

    Would never recommend Matt's to anyone.

  6. Move went GREAT.

    The team was wonderful, they showed up on time, they moved quickly, they didn't break anything. Wonderful customer support. Worth EVERY Penny!

  7. Not great.

    A friendly woman took the initial call and recorded our special schedule request for unloading a moving van. In spite of that there was miscommunication between their office and the movers and they arrived way early and couldn't reach my husband  (our request included he was NOT available at all until the scheduled time). When they finally talked to him they chewed him out - he felt abused. I was still in another state so called and tried to help resolve this and it was very uncomfortable.  A different team came later and they were great. So our conclusion? Hit or miss in a big way. Won't use them again nor recommend them to others. They really need better internal communication. Yuck.
