RE:. Your reply 2 my review..(it wasn't your company?!) 7/18/2019 - This was your company.! Invoice # 36052 on 5/29/19 by Metro Movers in Scottsdale, Az, Truck #51. I told you I would post our review online because what your company did was so wrong..theft of our furniture & hiring people with warrants is a crime & people should be aware of it before hiring your company. Your employee, Joe, begged my wife not to call the Pinal County Sheriff's Dept to tell them your driver just took off with all of our furniture because he said he & your driver, had a warrant as well. Yes..we got our stuff back the next day, but had nothing to sleep on during the night and it was such an extreme inconvenience until everything (almost everything) was finally unloaded in our new home the next day..24 hours later! This was a nightmare! I have a police report # if you would like to know that as well. The deputies drove around looking for your moving van with our furniture, until you reported to them that your driver had been found. Not only that..you cursed at me on the phone when I called you to see if you had found our missing things! I have reported this to the Better Business Bureau letting them also know that you hire people with warrants. -

Original post: Metro Movers sent 2 guys who both had warrants! The 1st guy just took off in the van w/almost all of our things in it, leaving his partner behind. We had to file a police report w/Pinal County Sheriff's Dept. They found the van w/our stuff in Tolleson the next day! They ridiculously wrapped anything & everything. They also lost our electrical chords to our reclining couches, scratched out bed & broke 2 dining room chairs. & they still tried 2 charge us! We had to sleep on the floor of our new home because they couldn't find the driver. The 2nd guy, who he left behind, begged me not to call the police because he said they both had warrants! Unbelievable!! The owner did not even apologize! We are posting this on Facebook & anywhere I can so people don't have the same horrible experience we did. It was a nightmare! Excellent Service.
I used Metro Movers for what started out as a really stressful move for me. I had called a few companies but I looked at the Better Business Bureau website and discovered the other companies had horrible ratings. Metro Movers has a great rating and they gave me a lot of helpful information so I chose them. So happy I did! The movers were wonderful! They put me at ease and the move was very pleasant. Great company and I highly recommend them!
I will recommend this company to all my family and friends.
Metro Movers made this move so easy for me and my husband. They were on time, we had 2 men (who were very professional and knew their business) and one truck. The girls in the office were great they gave me an estimate and the job was finished within the estimated time, so there were no surprises with the price. Thank you Metro Movers.
Metro Movers are a bad move.
Metro Movers quoted us a price over the phone (which is not normal) in which they promissed 2- 26ft trucks and 5 movers. they showed up with 2 - 22ft trucks and 3 movers.. We had packed most of our own stuff (glad we did) which were the only things that arrived unbroken/. They took twice as long as they were suppose to (thats what happens when your short 2 guys) which causedd the actual bill to double from their estimate?. The things that they packed were packed in boxes with no packing paper (even though I had supplied it and had 6 unopened boxes) and several of the boxes were not even taped on the bottom (they just folded the flaps on the bottom):. They broke glass top coffe tables, dented stainless steel fridges, broke pictures, desks, statues, electronics, and much much more;. They scratched tables, chairs, treadmills, and walls!. tore couches and damaged 84' tv's" ($561.00 to fix). They borrowed "snap on" tools to take apart and re-assemble my "bowflex" and treadmill and then never gave them back;. Worse yet.. the owner promised he would make it right and WOULD NOT charge my credit card until he did. The following day he charged my card (without any authorization) and has never responded to any calls or done one thing to make it right. This is the most unprofessional excuse for a moving company I have ever seen. Do yourself a favor and do not let this company touch your stuff. They are crooks and the owner is a liar and totaly irresponsible.
