  1. Canceled day of move.

I had a window of 8-10 the company called day of move at 9:40 and cancelled the move because the movers are sick!

    Do not use this company.

  2. Total professional job.

My biggest concerns with a mover were:
    1. Will they show up on time? (I had other activities lined up that were dependent on the move)
    2. Will they handle my items with care?
    3. Will they accomplish the move within the planned time window?

Midnight Movers called me a couple of days in advance to confirm the move, gave me clear instructions on what to expect, and recommended the best-fit trailer, labor, and time duration to process my move based on my needs.

On the day of the move, I received a call 45 mins in advance to confirm that they were on their way. They arrived on time, and immediately got down to work. They were very transparent about how the timing is calculated, were patient with my special items, and gave me multiple tips on how to protect and extend the longevity of my furniture.

The guys were friendly, cheerful, and worked diligently to complete the move on time.

I was so impressed with their professional job and would recommend them in a heartbeat. Midnight movers, you made my moving experience stress and hassle-free so thank you so much!

  3. Moved from apt to new home!

I am a returning customer who can't say enough good things about Josh and Brandon! They were respectful, efficient, and fast! 2nd time dealing with this company with a different crew and the results were the same! Very satisfied, thank you guys so much!

  4. You Will Regret Using Them.

**Summary:** Takes longer than it should; damaged items; exceedingly poor customer service. **Details:** We had two movers; one was an experienced/professional mover and the other was clearly very inexperienced. He had to be given instruction over every move detail and had to mainly carry the smaller items. Result? The move took longer than was necessary and some furniture was damaged. This situation was not right for either my family, the customer, or the experienced/professional mover.

The move was poorly organized. I would expect that when we are paying for the move by the hour that two experienced movers would be sent. On the other hand, I completely understand moving companies have to train people. But this should not be at the inconvenience of the customer - the extra time it takes for a trainee should be at the cost of the company and the customer should be compensated. Plus the move should be done with extra care so the trainee is not damaging furniture.

The worst part of it? The customer service. I first filed my complaint and then asked to speak to a person in charge. Wow - that supervisor takes complaints personally! I would expect this moving company to be used to frustrated customers, but they need some serious training in this department. She treated my complaint dismissively and informed me that the movers had not reported that one was inexperienced. She treated my complaint like it was made up. And when I used a frustrated tone during the conversation due to how the complaint was being handled, she accused me of screaming and threatened to hang up. Really? I was shocked. Surely I am not the first frustrated customer! I have never been treated this way in the past. AT&T, Walmart, Amazon, and countless other companies have a customer service that far exceeds this company's. They understand customers will get frustrated and handle it with skill. They also don't assume you are making things up..

So, if you don't care about the quality of the move or care if the customer service is very poor, use them.

    Good luck with your move!

  5. Best move EVER!

Moving typically is awful and takes all day however my move with Glen and Josh was so fast and professional! I moved from the third floor to another third floor in 100 degree weather; they were so friendly, and fast pace they made the move painless!! Thanks guys!

  6. Moving.

It was the first time I had used movers and I would like to say that it was well worth it. Teresa was very cooperative when I had to push back the time and someone had contacted me when the movers where on their way. The movers transported everything in a timely manner and nothing was damaged. I highly recommend midnight hour moving to anyone.

  7. Extremely happy.

I didn’t know what to expect using movers as we hadn’t used them before. But they exceeded expectations! They were on time, wrapped everything very well and moved everything quickly. We Will definitely use them again and would recommend anyone moving to save themselves the stress and back ache and use Midnight Hour Moving!!

  8. Best ever!

Speedy. On time. Hard workers. Demetrius and Caleb deserve a pay raise! We will use this service again!

  9. Late, Unprofessional and Broke a LOT of items.

Pictures were also posted on my Google Review.

COMPLETELY HORRIBLE SERVICE. BROKEN CHAIRS, FRIDGE DOORS BROKEN,
ELLIPTICAL MACHINE BROKEN AND SEVERAL COLLECTIBLE STATUES THAT CAN NOT
BE REPLACED. Called on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday and asked to speak to
Marcus and was told he would call back-3 days later..No call back.
Team has made it very difficult to get my items repaired and the only
thing I asked for was for the chairs and fridge to be fixed and I would
cover the rest of the items out of pocket. I filled out the claims form
as asked and sent pictures to Kika even though Chris Lynch documented it
all when he was here. Estimated at 2,500.00 for total move on Feb and April.

  10. Driving nuisance.

I would NEVER use this company. This morning a truck of theirs cut me off on the road and then decided to drive like complete jerks, playing games on the road and impeding traffic on purpose and then laughing about it. If they care more about being a danger and a nuisance on the road in a company label'd truck than their jobs, they obviously don't care about your belongings.

  11. Great moving experience.

Matt, Chris, Robert and Paul did a outstanding job. Couldn't ask for harder working, and caring employees. The office staff and everyone we were in contact with were top notch. And a very fair price. Thank you very much. Mike M.

  12. Fast, affordable and efficient.

They were running a little behind due to rainy weather, but kept in communication. Once they arrived, the service was 5 star! The two movers, Chris and Josh went over and beyond to make sure they finished within the two hours to give us an affordable rate. They went over and only charged in 15 min increments. They deserved a nice tip for making my elderly mother's moving experience so painless! I will always use this company and so glad I stumbled upon it.

  13. Terrible Customer Service.

I was given this move company by umovefree.com for my move on Monday February 9th. My movers (Damon and Curtis) were excellent. I've used many movers in the past and they were by far the best movers I've used, and I sincerely thank them for their helpfulness. They were courteous, professional, personable, punctual and very efficient. However, I had an item that did not make it into my new place. I called and spoke with Kika (co-owner) who did nothing but argue with me the first phone call I made to her. She told me that "it has to be at the pickup or dropoff". If it were either of those places I wouldn't have had to make the call. Not once did she apologize, sympathize or offer to make right of the situation..Anyone who knows anything about customer service knows these are basic rules. It's actually just common courtesy to treat other human beings with repsect. I've never in my entire life had a worse customer service experience than I had with her. She was more than unprofessional - she was down right rude and contemptuous (which appears to be a common theme looking at other reviews).By my 3rd call to the office Kika answered the phone again. She once again was very very very rude. I told her again that I felt my movers were amazing, and that my problem was not with them but with her. She argued and yelled for a total of 9 minutes. Again, not once offering to fix the problem. Maybe she was defensive of her employees, which I can completely understand, but she handled it so poorly. She put words in my mouth and stated that I accused her movers of stealing. That was an assumption that she made, not one that I said at any point. There are a number of things that could have happened to the item -- don't just jump to the conclusion that it was stolen, or that I'm suggesting it was stolen. Maybe it's happened before and that's why you jumped to that conclusion? Who knows? Bottom line : I still don't have my item and will be unlikely to get it in the future due to the lack of concern or helpfulness from the co-owner. She did FINALLY after about 8 minutes of a phone call (after I asked about them being insured) tell me that I could file a claim and be reimbursed 6 cents per pound..which doesn't go far for replacing a $200 and less than 5lb item.I DID sign the form stating my move was completed at the end of the move, but with 50 boxes and furniture piled everywhere I didn't notice the one box missing. So, yes, that is my bad for signing that form without a more thorough inspection. One small box isn't something anyone would notice..in the future I guess I'll have to number items and take a personal inventory and check items off as I receive them (which is more than inconvienent I'd like to add). I didn't think that I had any reason to question the whereabouts of this particular item. I would like to add that the movers, while fantastic, did not mention to me that I could inspect the truck before they left. Had I known that was an option I would've done that. I didn't think it was my place to go snooping in a vehicle that wasn't mine. Not that this review will do any good, because Mrs. Terrible Attitude is co-owner of the company..so they clearly have the attitude that they can do whatever they want and treat people as badly as they want. Since I see that you guys read the reviews and even comment on them I have decided to attach these helpful customer service tips (since you're clearly in serious need of some lessons). The following tips here have always been very helpful for me! Just remember AIDET:*Acknowledge/ Apologize-- Greet people with a smile and use their names if you know them. ATTITUDE IS EVERYTHING. Create a lasting impression.*Introduce -- Introduce yourself to others politely. Tell them who you are and how you are going to help them.*Duration -- Keep in touch to ease waiting times and estimated time of resolution. Let others know if there is a delay and how long it will be. Make it better and apply service recovery methods when necessary.Explanation/Empathize -- Advise others what you are doing, how procedures work and whom to contact if they need assistance. Communicate any steps they may need to take. Make words work. Talk, listen and learn. Make time to help.Thank You -- Thank somebody. Foster an attitude of gratitude. Thank people for their patronage, help or assistance. Use reward and recognition tools."Thank you for choosing Midnight Hour Movers" is a good start.Ever heard the saying about customer service? IF you have a good experience you tell friend. If you have a terrible experience you tell 10 friends. It's very true. This is my first ever online review of anything, but you can trust that I will review your company in as many places as I can. I would really hate for anyone else to have the same awful experience I had. I've also spoken to someone at umovefree corporate office and suggested they reconsider using you as a moving company in the future.

  14. No Customer Service.

This company has a complete disregard for personal items, as well as general customer service. To summarize, my antique dresser was damaged in the move. I cautioned the movers to be mindful of the removable, marble slab inserts; of course, one fell out and shattered. While these things happen, I'm appalled by the way Kika, co-owner, has "handled" the claim, payout, etc. She is entirely disrespectful, demeaning, and clearly unconcerned with potential repeat business. I highly encourage anyone and everyone to not utilize this moving service! They do partner with UMoveFree (and I have advised UMoveFree to reconsider their affiliation), so be aware.

  15. Impressed!

Used these guys yesterday with a one day notice. They arrived on time, moved us in the quoted time, and we even had extra items. There was no damage to our items and they used moving blankets on everything.

These guys HUSTLED. 100 degrees outside and they were literally jogging from their trailer and through the house. I really can't say thank you enough. I will absolutely use you guys again, but I hope to not move for a while!
