Mike's Moving provided a great service when they helped us move from Niceville to Tallahassee. The three men provided for the job were very fast and efficient. I was very satisfied with the service and would definitely use them in the future and would definitely recommend them to others. Thank you to Tiger, Sherman and Lajuan. You guys were absolutely wonderful.
Heads Up.
My husband and I have used Mike's Moving twice. The first time was in 2017 and everything went smoothly. My husband worked over the phone with June, and she told him he’d receive a $50 discount if he paid cash after the move was completed. As we lived on the west side of town not far from the MM offices, my husband drove over and paid cash after we finished that day. The second move was in May of this year. My husband spoke with Renee, who also offered a $50 discount if the balance was paid in cash. The move itself went smoothly, but this time we lived far enough away from MM’s office that my husband gave the moving crew the cash, along with a good tip, and they took it to the office. We realize now what a mistake that was, but this is a heads-up for anyone else who might decide to pay cash. After leaving our house to return to the office, one of the movers called to tell my husband that one of the hundred dollar bills appeared to be fake. The cash had come directly from the bank, so we didn’t expect any actual problem. However, Renee called a little later and said yes, the bill was fake. My husband went to the office and Renee showed him the bill, which he agreed looked fake. He took the bill to the bank and they determined it was fake. They said they would not issue a fake bill, so we were stuck with paying an additional hundred to Mike’s Moving to cover it. I realize there are a lot of things we could have done differently regarding the cash payment, but my message is this. I suggest that if you pay cash for a discount, you take the money to the office personally and don’t send it with anyone. As it is, we will not use Mike’s again.
Document Everything.
Worst experience I have had working with a business in a long time. Very good on the front end and terrible when I had problems/complaints with service. Lots of damages - take pictures of everything before they move stuff. I wish I had to dcoument the problems. Take the extra insurance if you use them - I wish I had. Don't sign anything without an attorney - I wish I had.

I truly cannot tell you how awful this experience was. This was the first time hiring professional movers and it was a huge disappointment. I was given this company niles name through a real estate agent who I have since corrected and doubt she will ever recommend again. when quoting I told them three story four bedroom house..they showed up with one little truck! Then they proceed to tell me I only had ordered one truck? I said I told you how big my house was the number of trucks is your business since your the professional?! They complained the whole time that I actually had furniture and I wanted it moved. They had three guys to start off with but one got sick from a hangover the night before and then we were down to two. it took hours until after ten that night..and I had to hire other movers to finish their job. We moved twice and the second move with the same amount of stuff movers were done by three in the afternoon with packing up and moving and were a hundred dollars cheaper than my previous movers. they complained the whole time how heavy my furniture was and how much stuff I had, that is what the owner told me. They broke the leg off my couch, the mirror on my dresser is missing the parts to connect it with. They scratched our antique radio and completely broke off the file cabinet lthink this company is awful and can't believe they are still in business. If you live in st Joseph you are better off hiring friends than paying these idiots money. Worst experience ever!!
The other movers I had never complained and did the job so quickly and were so kind. Best way trucking company saved the day! Unless you want to have your stuff broken and apologize all day that you have furniture then do not hire mikes movers. Can't believe they are still in business! .
