I have moved many times, and I was never treated as badly nor have I ever had such a horrible experience. Not only did the delivery people come late at night, but they damaged almost every piece of furniture, slammed boxes on the tile floor (something was broken or damaged in most boxes), they also didn't place the furniture or put it back together and on top of all that the driver was going to leave before putting everything in the condo. That's right, he was just going to leave things on the front lawn. The police came because the delivery mover went ballistic and he threatened my mother, my sister, my friend and me. I'm still missing items and I'm still disturbed by this over a year later.

I moved from md to sc and reservd a full packing service with move it van lines . Thay showd up on time and where very Professional the items made it to sc on time and in good Condision .
2 Mile move from Bethesda to Chevy Chase.
The moving quote was for 3 men, only two showed up and they were 1 hour late. I asked them to get a third guy because my quote was for 3 guys. An hour later the come back with a thrid guy, when they said they would be back in 20 minutes. The moving guys did not have any moving equipment inlcuding dolleys and hand trucks. I loaned them a hand truck that I had so that they could move my stuff faster. I had packed up all my belongings and moved them into the hallway before they showed up to make the move faster. Since my two apartments were elevator buildings and reserved the freight elevator, the time of the move was quoted for 3 hours. I thought that it should take 4 hours based upon the other quotes I received. The move out of my apartment took 5 and one half hours becuase the movers deliberately left the moving equipment at the warehouse to pad the bill. Since my new apartment was 2 miles away and it is a larger building that had a number of valet carts and I was able to borrow, the move into my apartment took 1 and a half hours. The total estimated move was quoted for 4 hours including time travel. It ended up costing me 9 hours 200 in materials to wrap a plasma tv which was unprofessionally wrapped. NEVER USE MOVE IT VAN LINES. I have moved 15 times in my life and have never had such a bad experience. A $400 quote cost me $1000 in the end. I am presently seeking legal action against them. Stay away from these guys. Making the sale they are always available and talk a good line. They changed our pickup day twice, then showed up at 6pm for an am pickup. Poor packing, incomplete inventory list, many things without a number sticker. On delivery, many broken items and missing items. Showed up at 8pm to unload. No weight sheet or final invoice, just a "pay this amount or we don't open the truck." Over 3 weeks since delivery, they will not answer the phone, or respond to repeated messages. Stay far far away from this company.
