Excellent Surface.
I moved from Toronto to Montreal and all my property was very carefully taken care of. I had many fragile items that were of great value and I was very relieved to see no damages. The movers were pleasant and friendly and made me and my mother who is elderly feel comfortable. If I ever move again I will definitely choose Move Me Again.
Incompetent thieves.
I had a short closing and they told they could do it. When I hired them, they could only do it the day before, at 4pm, and deliver 2 days later, at noon.
Then they called me and said they would be there the day before (2 days before closing) at 8 am. I said I could not do that and 4 pm was the only time that was acceptable.
They picked up but left a lot behind. They went through the mud and muck and dragged it through the house and onto the carpets.
I had to hire my own truck to move the rest.
But the day before they were due to deliver, I was called to say they would be there between 6 and 8 am. I told them I could not do that. They replied that I would have to pay almost $200 per day until they could deliver it 12 days later. I could not afford that. I had moved what they left behind and was exhausted, and didn’t wake up in time. They charged me almost $1000 to turn around and when they delivered it, they dropped things into mud, broke things, took out a window bot basement stuff, and didn’t put it back.
They are incompetent cowboys.

We had a great experience with Move Me Again Transportation. We had them do both the packing and the moving and they were fantastic. Ata packed everything in our kitchen a hundred times better than we ever would have, and Mark took care of everything else, we were impressed how quickly they were able to get everything packed up in boxes for us. We are very happy with this company and will continue to use them in the future.

I hired Move Me Again Transportation to move to our new home here in Halifax NS. They were very helpful over the phone gave me some really good moving tips and even included free moving boxes. The moving crew arrived on time were very courteous and friendly and cleaned up after themselves. They had the move completed on schedule without any issues or surprises.
Pros.
From the very start Tara was very helpful with the quotes and set up for my move. Cem and Aslan were awesome movers. They made a very stressful day much easier with how seamless it all went. Thank you guys all. If I ever move again I know who to hire ?
The Best company you will ever hire.
We used them to move into an apartment but not without having 3 separate stops beforehand, all over the city. They showed up on time, were super efficient and lovely to work with. Will definitely use them again! Special thanks to Mark.
Great service.
The office staff was great when we had our furniture stored and had to extend the storage more than once. Movers were professional and friendly. They also helped me pack some of the stuff . Polite, organized, showed up exactly when they said and didn't waste time.
Move from Toronto to Fenelon Falls in early January.
We moved from a Toronto apartment to a 2 story house in Fenelon Falls on January 9th of this year. It was a great experience. Fast, efficient, and very personable young men. Would highly recommend them.
Stay Away From Them!
Very unhappy with moving experience. We chose the company based on the overall rating on the internet but ended up having the worse experience.
The pickup day was missed and we were not notified, after calling the company a few times, they finally confirmed the driver missed the pickup and rescheduled another pickup for a few days later. We had to reschedule our travel to the new location because of the delay.
The the drop off was also delayed by a few days. They promised max 6 business days to deliver but ended up delivering with a few delay. Again this is after we called the customer service line several times to find out when they will deliver the items.
Finally Furniture arrived with damages all over, and missing pieces, broken plates, chipped and broken wooden pieces. They offered $200 compensation to cover the damage which barely covers the cost of the damage/missed items, and the fee we paid to move all the items (close to $3200). Now we have to pay extra to a junk removal company to take these broken furniture away.
Best moving company ever.
I moved a lot of times with moving companies in the past. This was the best experience so far. The crew was on time, organized and they were very professional.

Unprofessional & Misleading!!
They did not honor the agreed upon moving time and even changed the time twice on the day of! they were late for the time they settled on and that was after 5pm! I would never have agreed to start moving at 5 as a single mom with two babies however all of my things were already packed up and boxed in the basement it was a nightmare. UNPROFESSIONAL! this did not happen with the last moving company I used called ADT.
Tara is the one who gives you all the information and helps you with the contract but then acts like she has no idea when you have questions about why she promised one thing and it ends up being another.
O a separate note, the actual movers were wonderful and profesional.
They were extremely misleading with their quote even though I went through all my items with them. BUYER BEWARE!!
Never Again!!
Good for small long-distance moves or large local moves.
Tara was great. The movers worked very hard. They also took quite good care of our stuff (very little breakage).
My move was much larger than they expected (and even than other companies had estimated). It was also long-distance (Toronto-Montreal). They sent a couple of people to give a little extra help in the morning, but they were gone before lunch. The remaining two had a huge job. Even with me working all day along with them, they didn't finish until after 7pm --- and we were all exhausted.
I think they are likely a great company for those who have a smaller long distance move where two workers can handle the unpack. They probably can also handle a large local move, where they can more easily add additional workers from their company. But they needed at least four people unpacking us all day rather than two, and I guess there was no way to change that on the day.
Due to the exhaustion the also did not move all of our stuff to the correct floor as promised in the contract. I honestly didn't blame them, and decided not to hold them to the letter of the contract---I felt so sorry for the workers by that point. But that meant a lot more work for me in the next couple of days, when I could have been renovating or painting instead.
Finally - make sure you get your stuff weighed. Don't take the flat rate. In my case the flat rate offered was 42% over the actual weight. (Likely the error was due to how tired they felt :), I didn't get the sense they were trying to be dishonest).

In the eighties I loved a song (and still do) by Comsat Angels.. You Move Me. The chorus of the song went thus:

Well, I haven't yet moved, but I am blessed to have found Tara and her team, who will be taking care of every aspect of my upcoming move from Toronto to Wawa, Ontario.. a town way up north literally in the middle of nowhere.
I've been seriously depressed for the last two years and needed to make some serious soul-searching life changes, hence the decision to move out of the huge megalopolis that is Toronto and up to Wawa.. God's country.. wide open spaces..
While I was happily married for 22 years, my ex was a rising financial corporate superstar, and we followed her upwardly mobile career with several moves to different cities. All were so-called "corporate moves" I.e. we had to do literally nothing at both ends. We would leave the house as if we were going out for a walk on moving day and a crew of four packers would arrive and carefully pack everything in our home. The packages would then be loaded by three men who would arrive in a 48 foot tractor trailer rig, load in, and head to our new city. I just had to transport our goldfish in one of our cars. The truck would arrive the next day, unloaded, and everything unpacked and placed where the ex wanted things placed.
So fast forward through divorce, messed up relationships, depression, other issues, a decision to make a fresh start in what's essentially an outpost as opposed to a major city, and then somehow I was blessed (or guided) to find Tara. She is a very compassionate, caring soul. She has great depth and understanding of my current situation and has taken a burden off of me by putting in to place all of the services that I need, so that I have no worries at all about what lies ahead and how I'm to begin to get there. This is one amazing woman, and I am looking forward to this move like no other I've experienced.

I just want to say Thank you to the whole team. They did a fantastic job. Tara, Nicole and the movers. They were very helpful and informative. The movers were professional and answered all my questions. I was very happy and definitely will hire them again. The movers knew it was my first time to hire movers and understood my concerns and they went above and beyond to assure me that everything will be good. They explained to me how they transport and store the items. The only thing is I wish they got more than 2 people to load of my stuff, I felt bad for the movers. They could have used an extra man to finish the job. In the end, they were exhausted but they were very professional.
