  1. Don't do it!

    I don't even have the patience to rewrite my story after filing my insurance claim, just know that the website misrepresents everything - they don't use the online portal for communication or claims, they don't set you up with full-time vetted movers, and there's no after-hours phone line. Move-Safe was useless once they selected the actual mover, but still withheld the movers contact info until the end so I was left wondering about my status for every step.

  2. DO NOT USE

    Very misleading with information on the move, i asked several times if they were a broker, they said no. when my items finally arrived, there were 6 broken items and I was missing two. No one ever tried to contact me when i made several phone calls. those items were stolen, thieves is who they hired to do my job. never use this company. better business has them on alert. i wish i would have read that first before signing up with them.

    i agree with others, they want the sale and could care less about your items. items put on the truck, get taken on and off 4 or 5 times before they get to you. DO NOT USE.

  3. Not Happy with some areas

    I did not have a good experience and will not use them again, but I have to say there is a very good individuals here. The lady Tiffany helped me and was an angel and she even followed up. When I tried to reach others I had spoken to they couldn't take your call and every time I had contact with someone the price went up. My Driver was the best he handle my belongings with care and was very professional. All of his workers were neat clean and careful. I would not let a family member of mine use them.

  4. Terrible service!!!!

    Be careful with this company. The sales man just convinces you why they are best. Once you pay they don’t care they don’t call they just wash their hands and blame everything on the drivers etc…

    Don’t throw your money with this company. Find someone professional

  5. Horrendous experience. Don’t recommend at all

    Salesperson was great on the phone. That was the only part of the experience that was great- the rest of the experience was disastrous. It’s been a month and we still don’t have the second half of our furnishing. The driver showed up to our 3 story home by himself the first day saying it was hard to find help. Finally a second person arrived and then we discovered the truck was only big enough to hold half of our furnishings. What is really frustrating is that they refused to give us any price break despite all of the problems. We’ve paid over $11500 to date and have had poor service the entire time. Run as fast as you can from this unethical company. They promise but don’t deliver!!

  6. Never showed up!!!

    Booked this company for a move. They gave me a 3 day period for the move. They never showed up. I gave them a check deposit which they never returned stating they had an additional 3 day period after the original 3 days. Called customer service repeatedly. No response....

  7. Stolen Items

    I regret using this moving company and will not recommend for even an enemy! the agent gave me 3-10 days window, later changed to 14 days and did it took nearly a months to get my stuff. The costumer service staffs are disrespectful, my picture frames were broken, my computer table was broken, my deep freezer was damaged, they stole my full matrass, my living room standing lamp was stolen, my coffee table glass did not come with it, just the metal. the delivery driver was very arrogant.. I have been calling them regarding my lost items, left them messages, up till now, no one has reached out to me. Using this company has been my greatest nightmare ever! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

    This is the worst company I have ever worked with. They have kept my items for over TWO WEEKS without leaving the state where I moved from. I was never told that my items were going to be waiting on a driver for over 14 days. Terrible customer service. Avoid this company at all costs.

  9. Delayed move and Unresponsive

    They picked up my belongings in NYC on June 22nd with an expected window for delivery of 3 to 14 business days. It is now July 27th and i still don't have my belongings. I have texted people, emailed and called MANY times. It generally takes 3 to 5 days to get a response and that has only been that they don't know when my stuff will even start its journey to me in Missouri. Save yourself some stress and go with a different moving service.

  10. Rude and unprofessional

    Got my first inkling when I just made a quote request. Frank called me and said he'd rather not waste my time. When I questioned some of the charges, he hung up on. Wow.

  11. Excellent experience

    All I want to say is thank you Move Safe, I was moving all my mothers belongings from her home in TN to me after her passing. It was a very hard time for my family and I. I was getting so many phone calls, and I was ignoring all of them. I didn't have the mindset to speak on the phone. Nicole was so great with communicating and setting everything up through text and email. So being under these circumstances, they handled my move with empathy and consideration. The move went great as well. Nicole is just an angel in disguise. Thank you Nicole and thank you Move Safe.

  12. SCAM SCAM SCAM

    I wrote a review about 2 weeks ago. It has been deleted or hidden from here. So I will submit it again. :) BIGGEST SCAM, DO NOT USE. I have contacted the BBB, the Attorney General of NJ and FL, the FMCSA, and anywhere else I can file a complaint.

    It's been 21 business days, and still NO UPDATE ON WHERE MY FURNITURE IS.

    I spoke with Zach Horsley on June 8th 2021 about scheduling a move from NJ to FL. I asked Zach how long delivery takes. He said “typically 4-5 business day”. I said I am going to be down there June 18th 2021, he said “okay, let’s schedule pick up for June 16th 2021 so it’s down there by the 20th-21st the latest”. I get a call from the subcontractor that Monday telling me it takes up to 14 business day. I am now on business day 12 and still my furniture has not left NJ. I have called customer service 5 times now. I just spoke with Brenna Miller who told me she reviewed my call with my sales rep Zach and he didn’t lie about the delivery frame because he said “typically 4-5 business days”. Brenna was extremely unprofessional. She didn’t even let me explain my side before yelling at me. I told her to let me talk first to explain my side, I asked her if it made sense when I finished and she didn’t respond. I said hello are you going to answer me? She said, well you told me not to talk so I’ll just sit here”. She gave me 0 solution. I explained I’ve had to buy 2 air mattresses that I’ve been sleeping on for 16 days and my back is killing me. She didn’t care and just kept saying Zach didn’t lie. I said if he told me it would take up to 14 business days, I would have scheduled a pick up sooner, but HE CHOSE my pick up date for June 16th, NOT ME. I am paying $3,400 for this service and this company is by far the absolute worst I have ever dealt with. Customer Service is completely useless, the sales team lies about delivery time frames just to get a sale and then Customer Service does nothing to reconcile the situation.

  13. Floating Quote

    Beware of this company. They seem to be a SCAM. I since found out that they have a D- with the Better Business Bureau.

    My wife and I hired Move Safe Van Lines to assist us in our move from Aurora Colorado to Wahoo Nebraska. The sales individual Gary, seemed to be very knowledgeable and helpful. We got a quote of $3,481 to move 10 items 520 miles. Seemed a bit much, but most of it is oak, and pretty heavy. I supplied rough dimensions for the items at that time. The quote was for 336 cubic feet in the truck. We supplied them a $1,507.33 deposit (by check) of course. They charge an additional 4% to use a card, which you could dispute later. We were given a rough date of July 16 or 17 at that time.

    On Tuesday July 13, we were contacted by the customer service department to finalize the items they would be moving. Using my tape measure, I gave exact dimensions for all of the items. After a few minutes he came back and said that the volume was a little higher, it was now 410 cf. They needed an additional deposit of $398.45 to continue. The total is now ups to $4,356. No set day or time was given.

    Finally, on Thursday July 15 at about 6 pm. we get a call saying that our pickup was set between 2 and 6 pm on July 17th. At 2 pm, the sub-contractor calls and says that they will not be able to come until Saturday morning. He shows up about 2-1/2 hours later, in his car, to look at the items to be moved. After looking at the items, he now says we need 1,000 cubic ffet of truck space. This bring the total move to just shy of $8,900. We told him that there was no way we could afford that, and sent him on his way.

    I contacted Move Save on Saturday morning, July 17 and told them that we were unhappy and needed our deposit back. Basically we were told that there was nothing they could do. We informed them that we are on a fixed income, and the reason we were moving is that we could not afford to live here in Colorado any longer due to my wife's health. It mad no difference. So, here we are are, depending on friends to help us load things in a U-Haul truck and driving it to Nebraska ourselves and again depending on friends to help unload it.

  14. Great Company and Great Service

    From our initial phone call to our final box was put into place we couldn't ask for more. Our moving coordinator was there with us every step of the way. Any questions or concerns myself or wife had we got an answer If not on the first call someone always called back promptly. The workers arrived on time , went over my inventory thoroughly and put us at ease with our lifetime of belongings. We never thought our move from Jersey to Florida would have been this smooth.     I recently hired Move Safe to help me with my move from Cleveland Ohio to South Florida. The person that helped me, Frank, was extremely knowledgeable and helped me understand a few things about moving that I didn’t know. The truck was postponed for a day, but other than that, everything went pretty smooth. I would recommend this company if you need a mover…..
