1. SCAM ARTISTS

   Booked this company for my move from NV to OK. I was contacted by JOSH 5153816803 to give me a quote, he quoted me $2700 for the move . they asked for a deposit of $1200. We gave them the CC and they ended up charging us $2400. We asked for a refund for $1200 and they stated they refunded us the full $2400 and provided a transaction ID. We waited a full 10 BD for the refund to hit the bank. Meanwhile we paid the deposit for $1200 on another card to make sure the move was still scheduled. I then asked them bout the $2400 refund. they said it and gave me another transaction ID. then they refunded the $1200 from my other card. Supposedly having given me all my money back- i called and asked them why they did that as we still needed to pay the deposit- they then said oh don't worry we will use the first $2400 as a deposti and you will owe $1000 at pickup(they quoted $2700 total)- wait a second, didn't they already refund that $2400? they provided me with a transaction ID stating so!!
   
   The "finance" department consists of the same 2 horrible women who will text me " we have refunded your money for the 80th time!!" or will yell and talk over you when you call them out. tina (310)929-7751. they promised to email me receipts of everything and failed to do so every time.
   
   they never refunded the $2400, we disputed this with our bank and unfortunately they weren't able to get us the money back.
   
   Now they dodge all my phone calls, hang up when i call, put me directly on hold, or transfer me around.
   
   We have contacted the police in NV, but please whatever you do do not use these people. Its a scam.

2. DO NOT HIRE

   This company has literally stolen my entire truck of belongings. They hire the most sketch and disgusting people I've ever had the misfortune to cross paths with. Steve is so grossly incompetent and a liar of immeasurable understanding. His # is +1 (303) 507-3337 and I encourage you to call him. The grossly incompetent uhaul driver Steve hired phone # is 209-601-5417. He too is a sad, worthless human. DO NOT HIRE.

3. They were very good in their task

   They were very careful not to damage my stuff, yet they were very good with their body mechanics so not to hurt themselves. They also reassembled our bed for us, which I am so grateful for because after a long day of packing, moving, and unpacking, it was nice to be able to just plop down onto the bed instead of having to assemble it first. Thanks a ton, guys!

4. Excellent Service!

   On the day of the move, the crew showed up on time and ready to move my stuff. I had 3 guys come, and they were very respectful, professional, and even fun to chat it up with. I would highly recommend. I had a hassle free, cost effective moving experience and thanks to this company for that.

5. Disappointment

   They started off strong, in terms of responsiveness, completeness of quote, good price. We had to cancel, again they were great at communications, got the notification my refund had been processed - never received. And now can't get them to even talk to me about it either through email or phone. Too bad, seemed like they had their act together.

6. CALL THESE GUYS

   These guys are patient, fast, and thoughtful for movers. They made this by far THE easiest move I've had. I highly, highly recommend them. And you can't beat the price.

7. These guys are nothing short of AMAZING

   They're punctual, polite, and professional, their quotes are totally on the mark, and on top of that, they're all really cool, interesting guys! I met two of the crews, one of which included the owner, and they were simply fantastic. I literally loved these guys. Surely recommended!

8. Don't Use Them

   The sales man scammed us promising to hit our delivery date just to grab the business. The customer service people we dealt with were belligerent and condescending. This company brokered our move to a 1 star moving company who then brokered to another moving company. Nobody could give us a delivery date and the furniture arrived way past the promise delivery date. Never ever again.

9. So happy with the move

   This is the second time I used them in the past 4 years and they were absolutely great both times. They were very easy to schedule. The quote was very reliable. The service was great and the staff was very friendly and nothing was damaged. I can't say enough good things about them.

10. Scam Company

    I used Moving and Storage Squad for a move from CO to TX. Initially, the customer service rep, Lucas, was great, very helpful and took my deposit upfront. On moving day no one showed, the next day I was contacted by a contracted mover (first red flag since Lucas said everything was done in house). They show up in a 26', white, rented moving truck. Didn't know they had to pack everything ( which I paid for). They packed and loaded most of the dishes and heavy furniture but 3/4 of what was on my inventory wasn't even loaded. We arrived in TX on 7/9/21 and I still haven't received my property. I've been calling almost every day since we arrived and keep getting the run around that they will call 24 hrs prior to delivery, they're coming this weekend, etc. I haven't been able to reach anyone since Monday so yesterday I call from another number and speak to a female. She states that my property is supposed to be here by the 23rd of July per the contract but will not be delivered until next week per the driver. I state that I will be contacting an attorney and disputing the charge on my credit card (which you can do if you make an effort to resolve the matter with the merchant) and she immediately hangs up on me. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Moving and Storage Squad LLC, they are a SCAM! Note: I checked reviews on this company prior to June and they had 4/5 stars which is why I used them. If you now look since mid June almost everyone has been scammed, what happened?

11. No show

    Anyone but this company. Scam artists. Google the hdqtrs in Rochester, it's a run down house. Gave them a deposit and established the 2 day window. Never showed. They're not a shipper. Shipper they use called and couldn't come for 4 days after established dates. Not fun if you have to move out by a specific date. Call them, you go on hold. Asked for refund and their accounting dept. refused saying credit card company has to go after them. Never talk to a guy named Cody if your in Florida, no where to be found when things go south.

12. I would like to use them again

    It was our first time using professional moving service. The team were very communicative about dates and times. Price was attractive and all the fees were communicated upfront. The movers showed-up on time. The guys were very efficient and friendly. It was a wonderful experience throughout.

13. Not a legitimate business

    Warning – the Moving & Storage Squad ( DOT# 3321368 ) are total SCAM artists!! Once we looked them up on the US Department of Transportation site for federal motor carrier safety, we discovered that as of July 4, 2021 the US Department of Transportation suspended their license to operate due to failure to meet proper insurance requirements – they are not a legitimate moving carrier, and are not allowed to perform interstate moves. When my wife discovered this, she called them and confronted them with the data – they lied saying it was old data, and assured us they were still in operation. After continuing to check the US DOT FMCSA website and seeing no change to the Out of Service status, we called back asking for a refund on our $1,100 deposit. The person on the phone immediately said “you need to call the bank” .. she didn’t even pretend there was a refund process - these guys are simply scamming people out of their deposits, and letting the credit card companies deal with the defrauded consumers. I recommend you stay far away from Moving & Storage Squad!!

    

14. Need a ZERO STARS option

    Everyone writing reviews saying they didn't show - we have been doing some digging and they are currently "out of service" on the FMCSA website. That may be why you've been abandoned.
    
    Go there and file a legit complaint! We are in the middle of a disaster move with them and currently trying to get the location of our stuff. They brokered it out to Alpine/Sunrise Van Lines without our knowledge and we have attempted to terminate delivery as we have been learning nightmare stories of people waiting 4-5 months only to be scammed for thousands more dollars. They are currently holding our stuff in storage and will not disclose where. Our piano is still sitting in our neighbors garage and we are pretty confident many of our belongings will be broken/damaged. They are now trying to get us to wire them extra money. We are calling multiple times a day, filing complaints everywhere possible, and have even contacted the police for further investigation as we are now considering this extortion/straight up theft. Do yourself & us a favor and go to all lengths to wake them up. Also contact your credit card company to dispute the charge since the service was not performed. Trevor Voltolino booked our move but all the names there seem to be interchangeable. There's Tammy, Sharon, Marvin, Jecka, Tina, and then you get moved over to Yaron Mishkin & Jack Levy with Alpine/Sunrise who will scream at you for more money and say they "don't care what the "contract" says". Also the spot on your "binding estimate" that tells you how to file a claim has been falsified. They do not have an account with movingclaims.net so save your time on that and take it straight to US DOT. I'm convinced any good reviews here are their own or a mistake in the company name by the people who moved, there is no way this company should have a single star. Unbelievable.

15. Super convenient

    They were very quick and efficient. Glad I didn't have to lift a finger. They packed everything and unpacked after unloading. Absolutely recommended.
