Highly Recommend
The crews were excellent. They were friendly and professional. We really enjoyed them and appreciated all of their help. They made the experience much less stressful and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend and would use them again.
Look elsewhere for a quality mover!
My wife and I have hired NL Wilson on four separate occasions. For some reason the two most recent times which were 3 years ago and last week, respectively, were dramatically poor experiences relative to what we have previously come to expect. Both of our last two moves were nearly twice as expensive as we were quoted! When the movers finally left, after squeezing every last penny out of us, we had a number of nuisances due to their shotty work - including missing HDMI cables and power cables to hook up our TVs and PCs, washer and dryer that required a professional handyman to hookup properly at yet an additional charge because they refused for liability reasons, etc. Expect to be fleeced if you use this moving company and for a mediocre job done based on the low standards they are providing today.
Stevens Van Lines is Unreputable.
These are the worse movers I have ever used. First, they were late to pick up our items on moving day. Second, they were late delivering our items on move-in day. Third, when I submitted a claim on lost items they told me it was my responsibility to have done an inventory on the move-in date. For any home owner who was singularly managing where the boxes were left and fetching soda pop and water for the movers, I did not open each and every box on delivery date. When I submitted my claim, it was within the 6-month allotment of time for a claim, but it was rejected three times with the reason that I should have taken inventory on delivery day and I have no way to prove they didn't deliver my items. After three times of submitting a claim and speaking with them over the phone, frankly I gave us trying to talk to them about my rejected claims. This said, today drove me over the edge. As I was unboxing my Christmas decorations, I discovered an item missing. It's a $500 tabletop Christmas tree that has tremendous sentimental value to me, actually more than the cost of the tree. I won't even begin to contact these unreputable people for this item. If they wouldn't believe me about my initial claim, they will shoot me down immediately about this. Guess the BBB is next, along with my attorney. .
