  1. Moved Miami to Texas

This company raised the price by almost double when they arrived in Miami. I had to reserve the elevator 30 days out for the move and had to be out of my condo the next day, 100% bait and switch! The mover actually said "for the price you were quoted, what did you expect" GRRRR!! then, my stuff took over 3 weeks beyond the delivery window to arrive. THEN, lots of water damage to my furniture, broken mirror, broken table legs, worn off cardboard box corners where the boxes were apparently dragged, not lifted. The best, interstate movers answer to no one! Once your belongings cross state lines, you're on your own. And they were SO nice on the phone every time I called...LIES LIES and more LIES. They simply do not care! And BTW, they do not move your stuff at all. They move your stuff to a warehouse then sub-contract to others to deliver it to you. NO RECOURSE at all. These people are thieves! Stay away, Any review across state lines is BOGUS. Call me if you want the truth. 603-767-3552

  2. They Are Scammers!!

These liars said that they were giving my dad a great deal out of compassion for his health situation because he has stage 4 cancer & their rep who also claimed to be the owner said that he was a Christian man and wasn't even making a profit on it because he wanted to help. They tricked him into signing a contract that at their "low price" that they had no intention to honor. 2 days before the move no calls to my dad to verify the truck was even coming. Dad called around to find out what was going on and the "owner" Jason Carlucci was nowhere to be found. Some said he didn't work there some said he was out because of the covid 19. When my dad finally got on the phone with someone about actually showing up they told him that it would be at least another $6,500.00 on top of the $2,200.00 broker fee!! He told my dad that the $2,200.00 would be the total cost from north L.A. to Kennewick washington. He couldn't afford that so he had to cancel and they would not refund his $800.00

Deposite! Im happy that he didn't get ripped off as much as so many others but he needed that money and these people are the lowest life forms on this planet! BEWARE!! They are also connected to other companies and will feed you into the wood chipper!! I gave them one star because it would not allow me to give zero stars.

  3. Held Deposit Hostage.

    2020!!

First advice have everything in contract!

They promised many things on phone and then changed them and said sorry if it’s not in contract it’s not said.

I filed a report due to the intoxicated driver and being out of service and uninsured.

I spent three hours giving accurate description of everything. It’s only a one bedroom apartment I even asked them to add extra weight just in case. I was charged by weight.

The first driver they sent was from another company called America home relocation came DRUNK! Smelling of weed and when I asked for the DOT they were OUT of service and uninsured! The company they said would do the move wasn’t even then they told me it would be or it movers. At the same time another moving company came! 2 moving companies called themselves orbit but the truck was rented and said something completely different then said it would cost 3000$ to move more than 1300$ more than quoted and aid they did it based on size not weight even though I got a binding contract. I obviously refused to pay that much there were less items than described and I was quoted based on weight. He said take it or leave it he left and now National Express will not issue a refund because they sent movers. It’s a hostage situation. They charge me 800! and then if I don’t pay more than 1200 more than contract they keep my 800! And they did they refuse to refund me. I had to hire a different company.

  4. Do not use- very dishonest.

Got a quote from Marty from this company back in Feb 2019. My grandmother's house was damaged in a hurricane and we were moving her out. Marty was initially friendly but somewhat persistent - calling multiple times to continue to check on whether I was going to use the company. I eventually decided, after a few detailed conversations, to use the company. I asked many times whether or not the estimate was just an estimate, and whether it could change/how much could it change, because I was not going to be at my grandmother's home when the things were being moved (multiple states away). I told him that, in prior moves I had done, there had always been someone who came out and actually looked at the things we were moving to give an estimate. He let me know that, as long as what we were moving didn't change, it should be the same. I also asked if their company contracted out the labor, or whether they used their own trucks/drivers- he reassured me they did not contract out their trucks and drivers. He, essentially, lied about all of it. Once the men came and packed everything up, which was all on the estimate, the total went from about $1200-$1300 (the estimate) to nearly $3500 once it was all on the truck and packed up. There's not much you can do then, unless you want all of your stuff driven away or thrown out of the truck on the lawn. I was lied to, and we were taken advantage of. When I called to discuss the fact that the price had more than doubled from the estimate, Marty was extremely rude and had nothing to say to explain himself. When I asked for a supervisor, he reacted in a similar manner. I strongly advise you do NOT use this company. They are not trustworthy. We also had some things broken when they delivered, which I did not bother to follow up with since I was finished dealing with these crooks.

  5. Move from Miami to Texas.

Quoted price more than doubled! Lots of damages to my furniture caused by negligence. Torn out corners of moving blankets that broke corners of my furniture shows my stuff was dragged across pavement or concrete floors. Seriously, I have NEVER been so angry with a company. They lie-lie-lie and lie some more!! HATE THEM ALL!!

  6. Terrible moving company!

We moved from chicago to birmingham, and found this company online. We called the main office in Miami, gave them all of our moving info and they quoted us a little over 1,100, which is fine.
It was only until the movers came that our quote doubled. They came a day late, packed up our things but then realized they didn't have enough room on their truck so They had to come back AGAIN the next day. They were supposed to deliver our things in a week. They didn't show up until 3 weeks later with only one mover to unload. Our furniture was destroyed, plasma tv screen completely shattered, and plates and glasses destroyed. We wish we would have never hired them. Ive never experienced such terrible service in our lives.

  7. Great company to deal with.

My moving team John and his partner did an excellent job moving furniture from my moms home to my home. They were on time, professional, and did everything I asked of them. They worked quickly, carefully, and efficiently. I would definitely recommend them and will use them again in the future. Thank you!

  8. Efficient, friendly, dependable and hassle free.

The guys were awesome! Kept me informed about their arrival time, were friendly and dependable, handled my stuff with care, and got the job done so efficiently. 10/10, I will definitely recommend National Express Vanlines to anyone I know who's moving!

  9. Best mover in Pennsylvania.

They moved me last week. They were very professional and moved quickly but safely. they accommodated my every need. I felt bad because the weather wasn't on our side that day but they got it done with no complainants. All in all I am beyond satisfied and would recommend them to anyone in Pennsylvania.

  10. Great experience.

What a helpful service!! This is my second time using National Express Vanlines and I couldn't be more impressed with it. Both time, personal concierge has been very responsive and handles all of the stressful parts of moving. This time I'm working with them and they are incredible. I honestly feel everyone should use this website when moving and recommend to all my friends, who have also had great experiences. Moved is amazing.

  11. Excellent move!!

Friendly and respectful team. Great communication. They were very cautious of our belongings and the new house. They were hard-working men..Who were careful and considerate of our belongings! I would use this company every time! Thank you!

  12. Well prepared.

This was my first time using a moving service and National Express Vanlines was outstanding! It was the easiest move I could have imagined. I didn't take much furniture but still, I had a lot of stuff and it was a 3rd floor walkup. They were three of the nicest guys, prompt in arriving and very well prepared. They had me laughing and at ease throughout the whole job. I will surely spread the word to anyone I know whose moving, that's how good I thought they were. Thanks again.

  13. Tampa to Orlando.

Recently I moved some stuff from Tampa to Orlando and everything went smoothly! I spoke with National Express Vanlines for the initial estimate and the price was good, and the binding estimate stayed as promised without any hidden fees or such. They packed all of my furniture with care and even handled my upright piano better than I expected, as it's pretty heavy. Overall delivery time was also on point, didn't take them extra time in between to reach my place! will use their services again if necessary. It was hassle free experience.

  14. Punctual, fast and professional moving company.

National Express Vanlines did an amazing job on our move. We had a very short window to move since we sold and bought at the same time so needed it to get done fast. National Express Vanlines was able to not only accommodate a last minute time change (and not give us any problem), but they showed up a little before the appointment time to get started! We really appreciate the punctual team that took care of our furniture and home like their own. Every piece was wrapped and unwrapped as expected and nothing got damaged in the move. Electronic communication was a huge part of the experience. We were able to get everything done over email in a more effective and efficient way, as they were extremely responsive and accommodating. I would definitely recommend this Moving company for your next move and I know I will be using them again if the need arises.

  15. Worst Movers Ever!!

National Express Van Lines are not a legitimate moving company. They have the worst customer service, they lose your items, and the items you do receive will arrive broken and damaged. When I first called I spoke with Aaron, who said he would assist me throughout the entire moving process, but once National Express had my items, I never heard back from him and he would not return calls. He provided a low quote, and I then had to pay additional when the movers arrived. Aaron also promised to waive some of the fees. This was a lie, as I had to pay these fees once items were delivered. I also had a pick up window of 12-2pm. They ended up showing up the following day at 7pm at night!! National Express only accepted cash when they picked up my items, which is a red flag. By the way, Aaron no longer works there. My guess they are about to close this company and open up under a new name because of their bad service and reviews. Once National Express had my items, I had to deal with Liz Harrington, who has no experience in dispatching. Every time I spoke with her, she told me what I needed to hear, but it turned out that her information was not what was actually being done. One week before delivery she tells me that my shipment was at the destination, waiting for delivery. Then 3 days before I was to receive my delivery, I spoke with someone else and they tell me that my shipment still hasn’t left Florida!! I ended up receiving my items 8 days past Aaron’s “guaranteed delivery date”. I also called and left messages for the manager Alex. Waste of time as he never returns calls. You can call at any time of day to speak with Aaron, Liz or Alex and you will be told that they are out to lunch. I always called after 3 pm and this is the message I got. They answer the phone with just “Hello”, which was another red flag. Don’t believe their 5 star reviews. I have asked for references from their reviews and never got this info. They must be providing their own reviews as the info does not match the service they provide. Call them and ask for references. Do your homework with National Express Van Lines. Better yet, use a reputable, well established moving company.
