I enjoyed the experience I had with this moving company! I was moving some items from my home in Mississippi to New York and they were recommended by a friend. The movers called me to tell me they were running a little behind which is what I appreciated so greatly! The estimate I got was around $1200 and I found that cheap for the amount of items I was asking to move. They made sure to provide protection for all breakable items and discuss with me what they believed was the best way to handle them. At the final destination they took the time to carefully place my items in the rooms! They were great!
HORRIBLE amateurs.
HORRIBLE HORRIBLE..First of all they have tried to increase the initial quote by 250%, while nothing changed from my initial list..ABSURD..Second, on the paper the delivery was due by 2nd of August, 1 day before that day I received an email stating that my estimated delivery timeframe changed to any day between 10th to 14th August. The email says that I will receive a phone call 24h before the delivery day. I didn’t receive any call, so I decided to call the customer service by the 14th. The lady behind the phone was clueless, unprofessional and didn’t propose any explanation or solution. She even hanged up the phone on my face. This is the worst service you can get as a customer. These guys are jot organized and clearly amateurs in this business. You all have to avoid them.
Please don’t use them , They are scammers.
They gave me $934 estimate , but than drivers come in and told me it will be like $1500 , I was like ok fine than they load everything and said no my final bill is $3500 . I said I can’t pay that they told me they will hold my furniture hostage and they will charge me storage fee daily , They threatened me not giving my furniture and my stuff if I don’t pay them what they said also they promised me same day delivery after countless phone calls and police involved four days later here is my furniture broken and damaged and insurance offered me $150 for broken couch broken table broken bed frame , if you are reading this and looking to hire this people just so you know they are like mafia! They will give you lower price and charge you 4 times more and they will threaten you.I am currently looking legal advice for take them to court.

I am so lucky that I found this moving company! It saved me a lot of time, hassle, and money. I spent hours searching online for the perfect moving company that catered to all my needs, when I found National Moving and Storage. They really took the hassle out of such a long move and made me feel comfortable. They were so friendly and professional, and packed all my stuff where it would not get smashed or broken in any way during the drive. When we arrived, and I checked all my stuff, not a single thing was out of place. I highly recommend this company to anyone who is making a long move.
Scam artist.
These scammers first did a bait and switch by charging 3 times the amount of their quote. Now of course they waited until all of my furniture was loaded into the van before telling me of the price difference. After police came and negotiated with us, the driver agreed to honor the contract. The police were called only because the driver refused to unload my furniture. The truck arrived at my new house 3 days after the promised date. The company then refused to deliver my property until I pay $4000 over the contracted price. 3 months later I still do not have my furniture. Would you ever do business knowing they could do this? Criminals.
Finally, someone to rely on.
We had to move from Tennessee and all the way down to the southern coast of Georgia. National Moving & Storage was our last stop shop for moving. We shopped for tons of different moving companies but when we came across National Moving & Storage we were blown away at how much more they provide other than just a service, they provide that true human value.
Smooth Move.
Moving is a struggle in and of itself. To top it off, moving to a whole new state is down right stressful. Then add a husband that works around the clock and 2 kids into the mix, it's a complete nightmare!
At first, I was extremely hesitant to have a complete stranger handle all of my family’s possessions. But after speaking with someone from NATIONAL MOVING & STORAGE, my worries disappeared.
On the day of the move, the workers arrived promptly and started working right away. They were very gracious and personable.
Upon arrival, everything got there safely. The movers unloaded all of our belongings efficiently and handled our things with as much care as if it were their own.
I am grateful for this company for treating our family and our things with professionalism. If you are in need of movers, I highly recommend NATIONAL MOVING & STORAGE!

As a single mom, I was really dreading my move from Michigan to New York, but this company eased my mind from start to finish. I looked around online and found National Moving & Storage to have the best quote. The man on the phone was very pleasant to work with when setting up the dates and locations. I made my $300 deposit and I was quoted $2000 for the move. The movers showed up on time and they were very careful with the fragile stuff, like my great-grandma’s china. Upon arrival in New York, all the boxes were intact and nothing had dramatically shifted or anything. I was there as they unloaded and they were very respectful with my things on the tail end of the move as well. Thanks again!
My Move.
I am very thankful for National Moving & Storage. They helped me out with a very long move from California to Michigan. From pickup to delivery I saw no problem. They were able to fit everything perfectly. Normally I will just move things myself, cram it all in a car or truck, drive down the highway as fast as is safe with a somewhat sketchy setup. But the guys from National Moving and Storage made everything fit perfect no problem with room to spare. I wasn't worried about anything breaking or anything crazy happening. Everything got there safe and sound no crazy scratches or dents thankfully. All in all it was about $2900 for all of my stuff to get moved. If you need a move definitely give them a call.
So far not good- I should have read more reviews and the fine print.
At first, the quote I received from Glen was too good to be true and I should have known better.
The information I gave him about my household goods was not relayed correctly to the pick-up dispatcher correctly, my name has not been corrected,, and the second pick-up location was annotated. I gave them all of the pertinent information about my HHG-was quoted 550 square feet. It ended up being 849 sq. ft. Most of my furniture was in boxes-imagine if it had been put together. My $1600 quote went to over $3000..for a barely furnished 2 bedroom household of furniture. I will still owe $954 when it gets there. I am so worried that they will find other charges when I get up there-I'm all tapped out. Although Glen told me that my items could be delivered on the 22nd no "problem", they will not be delivered on the 22nd..when I spoke to the dispatcher, I was told that they have 2-10 days to deliver based on the 1st delivery date annotated. As stressful as moving is, I found that response to be a bit callous and lacking compassion. I'm on the verge of tears here. I managed to get a hold of dispatch today and was told that when "they know, I'll know"-the dispatcher sounded annoyed that I was asking for an update on the delivery date and to verify the charge amount at the delivery point.
Being a new single parent moving from Florida to Alabama, moving is nerve-racking to begin with. This entire situation is horrible. Absolutely horrible.
The day of the pick up, Elijah and another young man showed up (look farther down in the reviews for additional mention of the pick-up personnel. I did not see that when I did my initial search). Loading at my house and loading at the storage area a mile and a half away took 5 hours. They stopped loading multiple times and at one point, they stopped loading to tell me that we had reached the 550 sq. ft. marked and we could either stop loading and I move the other stuff myself or they finish loading and I get charged the extra fees. I had no way of shipping it myself. I'm kind of on my own here. The new total charges ended up with a total charge of over $3000. I had already paid $400 when I booked the move, about $1100 cash and over $700 personal check after they finished loading. He said "drop-off in 2 days?" I said "No, I had requested delivery on the 22nd" he acknowledged that and said he'd see us then. I am unsure if he knew I would not be able to get delivery on the 22nd. At this point, I think anything is possible.
I just want to receive my HHG in a timely manner without getting charged for more things. I'm already anticipating additional charges for the "no more than 8 stairs" clause that I read in the contract. A flight of stairs normally has more than 8 steps. I am going to request that they leave bedroom items on the 8th step and I'll drag it the rest of the way with my 134 pound butt.
Regardless of how this all works out, I would highly recommend that you do not sign a contract with this company. The price that is quoted is definitely not what you will be paying. The good reviews I see here look a bit suspicious. My barely furnished 2 bedroom household (still in boxes) move is costing over $3000 for a move under 600 miles. These $2700 400 mile moves that were smooth as silk seem not quite right to me. I'm disappointed in myself for getting taken advantage of. I should have known better. I'm never using a moving company ever again. I honestly don't believe that they care in the least about the customer.
Absolutely Fantastic.
I admit I was a tad bit nervous and reluctant to have a couple of strangers handling all my furniture and other valuables, especially with me being an antique dealer and collector, but National Moving & Storage laid my fears to rest. They showed up on time and were very friendly and cooperative. My livingroom set, bedroom set, antique pieces and everything in between was handled with care without sacrificing speed or efficiency. With the long distance I had to travel, it was just such a pleasure to have skilled and professional help along the way. The best part is there just as careful and patient with unloading as they with loading. These are great guys and I'd recommend them to anyone. Without a doubt.

I live alone and had to make a sudden move for a new job in Nashville. I found National Moving &Storage; They were affordable and organized. The day of the move, They arrived on time and made sure that all of my things were loaded carefully. I really appreciated their professionalism. It took a lot of stress off my shoulders and made this hasty move ten times easier.
