Do Not Hire These Guys!
I hired Nationwide Moving Company to move a small load of personal items from Florida to Northern Michigan. Once you hire them, and your items are picked up, it's nearly impossible to contact them regarding anything about your shipment. My payment agreement was to put half on my credit card and pay cash for the other half upon delivery. After they picked up my things, they insisted I send cash or send them a photocopy of my credit card front and back even though they had my credit card number, expiration date and security code. I refused to do that and was told I needed to pay the full amount then with a postal money order when they delivered. After purchasing the money order ($1000) my credit card was also charged!! I had to go back to Post office and change the money order (not easy!). THEN, the delivery day/time was changed several times. The delivery guys came right out and asked me for a tip! Two of my oak furniture pieces were damaged and I could not reach anyone at the company..no response to emails or phone messages. Customer service was the worst! DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. Worst experience I ever had with a moving company.
