  1. The WORSE moving company,.

    On Approximately April 27th, I had spoken with Alison from Nationwide moving company and she gave me a quote of 1379.00 for me to move my already packed belongings from GA to CA. Half of the money was to be paid on first trip and the rest would be paid to the final destination place.On April 29th the movers came to my parents home (who are in their 70's and retired) and after packing the moving truck, shut the door and reported to my father the cost total was now 2900.00. My dad felt trapped and wrote him a check of half the amount. As soon as I found I out, I called the driver and told him to turn around and return my property, (as it says in my contract I can cancel up to 72 hours after dispatch called me to confirm the driver to come, which was Friday April 27th evening). The driver did not cooperate and could not get his dispatch on the phone. I cancelled my fathers check. 3 weeks later after being hassled and threatened that my parents would be sued for extortion by Alex from nationwide another person who was the "most upper management" tried to make a deal. eventually, we agreed on 2000.00 which is way more than the original agreed on price. I was told and even emailed a contract that states my property would be delivered in 5-15 business days. I have tried to ask for an ETA as I would like to be able to take off work to assist in the move and to check my belongings. NO ONE from dispatch has ever contacted me back after numerous emails and phone calls. they have taken a thousand dollars and have all of my belongings. I do not know how these employees sleep at night knowing that they are ripping people off and taking advantage of the general public.

  2. The worst experience ever with Nationwide moving!

    On April 11, 2017, Nationwide movers picked up my house belongings to move my family to Tampa Florida. I was charged an extra $1,000 because we used the entire truck, approximately 10 feet, which was not agreed to prior to the move. My personal belongings were stored in Norcross Georgia until we were ready for delivery, which was scheduled for July 11, 2017. At the time of delivery the truck was not full, nearly 12 feet empty as compared to when they made the pickup. Nationwide movers will not assist me in locating my belongings and will not even take my calls. At the time of delivery the truck driver told my wife and I that he did see items as we described and even brought it to the loading teams attention. The reply from the loading team was 'that's not theirs, don't worry about it'. As I am compiling the list on known missing items, we are fast approaching more than $8,000. At the time of delivery they damaged my brand new wood floors and many pieces of furniture were also damaged.

  4. Terrible!!

    NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!! First they put my stuff on the truck, then would not unload it at my destination unless we paid $2,400.00 in cash to the driver of the truck. My estimate was for $960.00. I tried to give them a check and they wouldn't take it, only cash. While arguing with them about the price the driver of the truck whipped his "member" out of his pants and showed it to me, then proceeded to make sexual advances toward me. They destroyed sculptures, paintings, and an expensive printer I use to print photographs for my job. When they got to the destination with my stuff, they would not take the items upstairs or set anything up (like my bed). All they wanted was the $2,400. I would advise everyone and anyone to NOT USE this company. THEY ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL AND DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR ITEMS BEING MOVED. THEY JUST WANT TO SCAM YOU OUT OF YOUR MONEY. PLEASE, especially if you are a single female, DON'T USE THIS COMPANY.
