Don't Use Them!
Horrible horrible experience! They were to pack my belongs. They just threw fragile items in boxes. They destroyed my bed, completely trashed my curio cabinet, and countless things were either damaged, destroyed or missing. When I filed a claim, it took over 6 months to for them to forward the info to the insurance company.
Ocean Moving.
I am now booking Ocean Moving for my third move. They do such an amazing job of wrapping and protecting all your furniture. They work quickly and efficiently. I moved with them from NH to CA and then CA to NM and now NM to Florida. Not one thing was damaged or broken. They take apart anything you need and put it back together. And any time I call, they are so friendly and helpful. I have used other movers before, but never again. Ocean is amazing !!
Go Elsewhere.
Do NOT use this company! No matter what the representative tells you(in my case Roman) or other reviews- everyone I found that actually used the company had negative reviews- I think the company writes the good reviews!! They tell you what you want to hear and then change their story the second they have your money. My quote started off around $1,000 and will be over $3,000 when I'm done- and my poorly packed space was less than 800sqft. All the costs changed, extra charges started popping up, the movers complained the entire time they were there (one even told me "That would require me to make extra trips to the truck"). The company claims to quote you for full service but charge you for EVERYTHING! Full service with this company really includes NOTHING. They moved packed boxes from inside my house to the truck- that is it. Ex: You pay for the rolls of tape they use and the movers only use half the roll of tape! They also charge you for mattress covers- go buy your own for cheaper. The movers horribly pack your belongings so it takes up more space in the truck so you have to pay more. Try mentioning it to them and they tell you "This is the way we do it". The company is deitful and unprofessional. DO NOT USE! Belongings upon delivery were rushed into the house and thrown about, movers even made comments about the size of my house (very unprofessional). Have a flexible schedule for delivery since they can not confirm anything. You get a call 24hrs before saying when they will be there- so your new job better be flexible! All around BAD company- really if you are thinking to use them for the low price you think you will get- DON'T it's a lie. Don't bother trying to call and make a complaint- they pass the phone to someone else and Roman claims ignorance. Pick a higher priced better rated company- I wish I did. .
Worst Movers Ever.
Never use Ocean Moving and Storage. Getting a quote was fine and they have excellent salespeople that convince you they are a reputable company. After they came to pick up our stuff they tried to charge us twice as much as they had quoted.
We waited almost three weeks for our stuff to be dropped off on the other end.
