Omaha to NY Move
I hired Planet Van Lines to move my stuff from Omaha to NYC. They sounded like a great deal, but it was too good to be true. After picking up my stuff, they became ghosts. It took them 64 business days to deliver. When it was time for delivery, they were unable to provide a valid Certificate of Insurance (required in NYC). So, I ended up having them drop my stuff in our courtyard, and having to carry up EVERYTHING myself.
Do not hire these folks.
1. They are a broker. They don't have their own trucks
2. They will charge you extra when it's time for pickup.
3. They are near impossible to get ahold of after you have your stuff is picked up.
Pay the extra money, hire a direct mover. AND AVOID PLANET VAN LINES AT ALL COSTS.
