Stay Away From This Thieving Company!
I would give this sham company no stars or negative stars if that was possible! They are pompous and unprofessional crooks. I have moved cross country and internationally, across Asia, Europe and the US and have never met with such scam artists.
I moved from China and my belongings were professionally packed and dealt with from the dispatching end. Unfortunately their partner here is Prisma.
These people told me my things had arrived in NY and that we they can be delivered to my house in 5 days. I told them to deliver the shipment next week and they said they will arrange but they did not give further confirmation. Then the following week they gave me 48 hours notice that my things will be delivered. I confirmed with them but they did not reply. I wrote them and they basically told me I was stupid to assume it would be delivered since they had not confirmed. I then gave them a specific date and time for delivery and they also did not confirm. I wrote again asking when my deliver will be made and still not reply.
So imagine my shock when they invoiced me $270 for 3 weeks of storage for my goods at their facilities, and noted on the invoice that my goods will not be delivered unless I pay up!!
They are beyond shocking! How can anyone operate like this under false pretences and sleep at night!!

This was just an out of the blue situation. I needed to make sure I was selecting the right company, because this came up thanks to a medical research I'm conducting, so Jamaica was the best Place to do so, had to move for a prolonged period of time, so I needed a real company, Prisma was my best choice.
So everything was ready to move from NY to Montego Bay, scheduling, logistic and packing, all taken care of with Prisma, I flew over to Jamaica after pick up, 4 weeks later all my furniture and science files along with some miscellaneous objects, all arrived in the best condition possible thanks to their real care for customer belongings. The local mover was as nice as Prisma back in New York and they even offered me a great deal if Im coming back with them along with Prisma.

Professional and Responsible.
Having to move internationally is a whole different ball game, therefore you need logistic and a service provider that accommodates you and have everything required taking care of the task for you. When I moved from New York to England, I used Prisma Cargo Solutions, it was after calling and searching different companies, they had the best recommendations and Price. it took one Day to get everything done, they were ready at my location with all materials to pack and wrap every piece of furniture and all my electronics. The estimated time of arrival for my shipment was 5 weeks, they contacted me while I was in England to let me know that there was chance they shipment could arrive in 4 weeks instead, I was so happy that I told them that whatever situation is I knew they were going to deliver. Effectively the shipment arrived at to Portsmouth UK in 4 weeks and 2 days.
The local Mover hired by Prisma contacted me to arrange delivery in London, upon schedule arrangement and confirmation I received my belongings a day after chatting with the local mover, they delivered everything in one piece, no scratches, (I was prepared for that since I understood my furniture will be in a container and moving around) ended up impressed by their great job.

Worst Move Ever.
If I could give this company negative stars, I would. I have spent 20 years in the military and done numerous household moves, including overseas moves. I am very familiar with the process and requirements of moving, and of moving overseas. Prisma showed none of the correct procedures and processes. Had I done my due diligence and looked at company reviews, I would have never hired Prisma.I have had numerous issues with Prisma Cargo Solutions, beginning when the movers arrived at my home to pick up my household goods (HHG). I had been clear with the sales rep, Brad, that I would pack my belongings, but that I needed my furniture properly wrapped for the move. On the day of the move, the moving company was supposed to arrive at 10 am. I received a phone call from Prisma that they would be late and that the move may need to be rescheduled because there were no containers available. That was unacceptable, as I had taken time off work and had renters moving into my house 5 days later. The container and movers finally arrived after 5:30pm, only to inform me that the furniture was supposed to be wrapped and they had not brought the appropriate materials. Had the movers arrived on time, they assured me they could have easily done it. However, they were told by Prisma to wait for the container. Prisma told me they could possibly get a new container in 2 days, but in fact it took a week to get a container. I was now moving out the same day my renters were moving in, a situation I did not want to be in. While packing up the container, the moving company did not take an inventory, not even verifying the inventory I had done. There is no way to verify what is in that container. When the moving company finished with the container, they did not seal it, provide me a seal number, or in any way ensure my belongings were secure. Additionally, the moving company did not take a copy of the invoice that I had done. So, not only was the invoice not verified by the moving company, Prisma did not have a copy of it. There is no way to verify what is in my HHG shipment, and should something come up missing, there is no way to validate that it went missing.Once my HHG was shipped, I received an adjusted bill for several charges. One charge was for a return trip of the container, for approximately $1,000.00. There was another charge for approximately $850.00 for container demurrage - basically, storage of the container that failed to make ship's movement. I was charged 6 days of storage for a container that Prisma told me wasn't available. Additionally, I was charged approximately $250 for trucker chassis charge, which is a fee for the special chassis required to transport containers. This charge should have been on the original contract; the move was always known to be an overseas move and if Prisma missed it on the original contract, that it their problem. While I don't believe I should have paid any of these fees, the fees for the container storage and the chassis are certainly unreasonable. However, in order to not hold up my shipment, I paid the entire balance on July 30th via bank wire and received a paid in full receipt on July 31st. My HHG shipment arrived July 27th, but did not clear Customs until July 31st. To date, August 5th, I have not received my HHG. I have contacted the destination agent, who told me they have taken control of the container several days ago, but have been told by Prisma not to deliver the shipment and that written authorization to do so is needed. Prisma has not contacted me to discuss any outstanding obligations. I have repeatedly tried to contact Prisma via phone and email, with no response. I have yet to receive any response to any voicemail or email I have written them in the last 3 weeks. Currently, my shipment is on hold, I have no idea why, the receiving agent has no idea why, and Prisma has not contacted me to make me aware of the situation.This ongoing saga with Prisma keeps getting worse and worse. I have tried contacting them for 3 days, both by email and phone. They haven't returned a single communication. I have found out from the receiving agent here in the UK that Prisma has communicated with them, but not about my shipment. Despite my numerous attempts to resolve this, and their continued communication with the receiving agent, the topic of my shipment hasn't been broached. I also found out that Prisma detained my shipment before it even arrived in the country. Despite an email from Hetal in Prisma's accounting telling me that my shipment would be detained if the invoice was not paid by 31 July, Alex sent an email to the receiving agent on 27 July telling them to detain my belongings. My invoice was fully paid on 30 July, I received a paid in full receipt on 31 July. Clearly, this company cannot communicate even within its own departments.I have filed a complaint with the BBB and the Federal Maritime Commission. Hopefully, that will get Prisma's attention.
The worst servicr ever.
Last November I contacted this company for moving my stuffs from California upto Chile. During the loading process everything went smoothly; expected after paying the higher plan they offered.
Things changed after they packed everything..
A week latet, they invoiced me an extra a cost due my house's ubication, OK I thought, after paying $ 7.000, $ 500 should be part of the total budget, assuming they had my home already in their warehouses, was difficult to complaint, but problems were just beggining..
After 5 weeks I decided to contact them, my container should be arriving (at least was what the contract stablished), I spent 4 weeks until someone picked up the phone (I assumed my emails probably ended in their junk's mails, after I paid), the answer I got was "we are doing our best, next week we are shiping your container"..well, I have been waiting 5 months since then, always receiving the same answer, "next week", I tried to contact the manager, but "he is out of the office for several weeks"..and on top of that last week I received a new invoice for warehouse's extra cost for this 5 months!! Can someone believe it? They haven't ship my container and charge me for their ineptness..
Hopefully everyone read this review and think it twice after hiring Prisma Cargo Solutions, surelly any other company could do it better, easy, this is the worst!
Satisfied and Happy Customer.
I contacted Prisma Cargo to move my things from California to Amsterdam in the Netherlands. Guy and Jason came to my home to give me an estimate, and the price was very competitive. 2 days later the movers arrived and packed up all my belongings, including my entire kitchen, (dishes, pots & pans, etc.) with the greatest of care. All furniture was wrapped carefully and everyone on the team was pleasant and professional. They did a great job of packing all my pictures, and there were many, and they were very careful with all my fragile things. After a few days, I flew to Amsterdam as my belongings where to be shipped to me, the ETA given to me was of 21 days, so I had plenty of time to travel and get everything in order to receive my belongings in Netherlands. Once the container arrived to Netherlands, the movers contacted me to let me know that they are going through the customs and all the paperwork should be completed in 48 hours. They really impressed me with their amazing service and punctuality.
When my belongings were delivered at my new house in Madrid, they had a checklist that we went through, and everything arrived safely. Everyone at the company has been pleasant to work with and professional.
The company stood by their price and had great follow-up, making sure I was completely satisfied. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing an international mover.
Prisma Deserves A.
I would like describe Prisma Cargo. These were the guys that helped me get my international relocation finalized. I was in a real bind, I needed help moving, and they put a team together and got me impressed with their great professionalism. They were all really friendly and a helpful bunch. Having moving help is going to cost you a little when you hire them, but these guys couldn’t t have worked faster - they were really moving fast to be mindful of the time, and overall, the experience having them help me move was well worth in terms of time and money spent. All my items were shipped to Ireland in great condition, my cousin was the one in charge of receiving the goods while I was finishing some personal issues in the US in order to depart to Ireland, he stated to me in an email that he sworn something had to be wrong but he checked and double check, he was in shock as everything was delivered in perfect condition and the movers hired by Prisma in Ireland were as friendly as them here in California.
Best Mover ever Hired.
Once I checked the rating of their company and the previous experience from different customers, I decided to book my international move. They arrived on time (actually arrived at my home an hour early & caught me off guard) they loaded the truck with all my belongings very well packed and placed-in with extreme organization. I needed to move for a few months to India due to a research I was conducting and this company put me to sleep on feathers once they gave me the quote.
As my belongings were sent to India, I thought it will take at least 1 month for me to receive my belongings, as this ship departed from New York to India but thanks to this great Company I was informed of each and every movement the ship did, in order to arrive to India, surprisingly 21 days later after pick up my items arrived in India without a single delay nor I receive any penalization or surcharges in customs as Prisma did everything in their power to resolve this issues before I heard from them with those great news.

Great Moving Company.
I had a great experience with Prisma. They weren't the cheapest but I just had a feeling they wouldn't tack on additional fees at the end. What made me happy though (and kept me from stressing too much) was the excellent customer service I got from Carlos, who helped coordinate my move. I moved from California to Netherlands, on the pick-up day, there were 3 movers and they arrived an hour earlier than expected. I wasn't quite finished packing but I glad to get an early start nonetheless.
The promised me that my belongings will be on the way 3 days later. Once the container arrived to the port, the company sent me an email stating that they will have their agent in Netherlands transport my goods in the next week to complete customs procedures and they will take the container to be unloaded and transferred.
The other movers did an amazing job and the whole move was smooth and light as a feather.
Their Service is the Best.
This Company stands out from the rest. Their quote is fully inclusive and what they don't cover they tell you about and if you have any queries, they are answered immediately by any medium you choose (telephone/email/etc). They moved my belongings from US to Italy with no hassle at all and their price was very competitive with the rest. The process was easy and I felt fully looked after throughout the process.
There was one minor issue in Italy about a piece of paperwork but 1Prisma sorted it within minutes of my phone call. I fully recommend this company and will use them again. It is a very personal service and you feel like a valued customer.

Amazing International Mover.
I recently had shipped my belongings to my sister that is in Paris with a great company called Prisma Cargo Solutions, they were fantastic. Form the moment they arranged the shipment for me over the phone, I knew I was going to be in good hands. As far as the service is concerned, these movers do know how to handle and take care of your goods. As a satisfied customer the best I can do is give you 5 stars, if 10 or 20 would have been the maximum I definitely would have done that. Prisma made me feel very comfortable after giving me such service, price and attention, they came to my house in NY and packed all my furniture and belongings over to my sister’s apartment in Paris After a few weeks, I received confirmation from the company informing me that my belongings would arrive on March the 15th to the dock and it will pass customs and then been released to be transported. Once their agent in Paris started to unload the truck, they did a wonderful job. As per my sister’s words, they were amazing, Prisma informed them of my fragile articles and they treated them as their own, not even one piece was broken or damaged nor my furniture scratched. Very poor, not recomnended.
My two cars were to be moved from the US to Dakar, Senegal, West Africa. Brad, the guy who contacted me was very nice at the beginning, and then their tone and doing litteraly changed; 1- They did not inform me that I was not allowed to load boxes in my cars to be shipped. They took the cars with the boxes inside and asked me to go to the warehouse (25 miles from my location) to get my boxes. 2.They shipped one car and left the other behind. They shipped the last car one month later' 3. They informed me about the arrival of the car in December while the first one arrived in August. 4. They withdrew 3367 dollars from my credit card, including ''penalties fees'' for late payment. They also insisted that I had to pay the same amount from my checking account to get back the original doc for the cars. - I paid 190 dollars to get back the boxes, 1800 extra for parking fees as they informed me 2 months later that the cars arrived. I never got a tracking number before December while the firs car arrived in aug. They are still holding 3367 dollars from my credit card ( they sent an email saying that the refund would be effective as of week of 7 Jan. No refund so far : today is 23 Jan.
Ps :for the delivery country, this review does not allow to enter Senegal, and "other'' does not work. I put Europe to be allowed to send my review which is very important to me.

I had a very stressful and challenging international move to deal with in a very short amount of notice. Because of the short notice to be out, we did not have a lot of time to prepare or properly pack any of our smaller items. So needless to say, finding the right international moving company was one of our top priorities. Almost right up there with finding a place to live in another country! After speaking with several international movers, one that really stood out initially was PRISMA My initial web inquiry was returned promptly, and returned with a phone call from a friendly sales representative who seemed anything but the 'pushy salesman.' This was a nice change to a majority of the sales reps I had spoken with, who seemed more inclined with running my credit card as opposed to putting my mind at ease and explaining exactly what the service entails. His professionalism and knowledge was a big reason why I wound up choosing Prisma as our moving company. And I could not be happier that I did. On the morning of the pickup, I woke up with a slight case of the butterflies, knowing this was not going to be the easiest of moves. As soon as Rob and his crew arrived however, my butterflies seemed to stop fluttering. As I was walking around our place with Rob, explaining what I needed packed and other minor directions, I was impressed with how attentive he was. He also could not have been nicer. After my lengthy monologue, Rob went back to his crew and they immediately went to work. It was methodical how the crew of 4 handled the process of wrapping our furniture, disassembling our beds, packing our boxes, and strategically loading the furniture onto the container. I was blown away at how quickly they worked, and how experienced they all were. I don't know much about moving, but I do know a good service when I see one. And to be completely honest, I felt 100% at ease the whole time my items were in their hands. Rob and his whole crew had a very professional, unobtrusive presence about them which made the whole experience as stress free as I could've ever imagined. The delivery was a week later and went even smoother than the pickup. They carefully unloaded and unwrapped all the items and placed everything exactly where I requested them to be placed. They reassembled the beds as well, and all was done in a timely manner. I would highly recommend Prisma to anyone that is moving overseas. Take my word for it, you will not be disappointed .
Poor.
Hired Prisma to move me from California to Canada. They said my shipment would take 1-2 weeks. It took 36 days to arrive. I paid $2319.40, with the expectation my shipment would arrive within the window of their ETA. They grossly misquoted that time. I requested via the Better Business Bureau that I get a 40% refund for their misleading information and unacceptable late delivery, but they were reluctant. Since then we have been back and forth repeatedly on the BBB, which has just become a headache. I was repeatedly given inaccurate information re: the location of my shipment and when it would arrive. And a few of my emails to management voicing my complaint were not even returned. As soon as my shipment arrived I filed a complaint with their customer service and surprise surprise - No response. As mentioned, I ended up having to contact the Better Business Bureau All in all - I was lied to, and truly feel I did NOT get what I paid for with this company. Furthermore, their lack of customer service and compassion is unsettling. Unprofessional and unreliable.
International Move a Success!
My Husband and I moved to Berlin several months ago and shipped our goods with Prisma Cargo. Initially, we were dismayed that over 20 companies contacted us after we submitted the information online, but slowly, each of them dropped off as we maintained contact with Tom who was helpful and informative. We finally narrowed it down to 3 companies, but it was their customer service that finally convinced me. Although moving day was long, the packers did an excellent job and we were relieved when they were finally gone. While our shipment was in transit, the documentation department gave us the estimated arrival date of our container along with the contact info of the company that would be delivering our goods. The people at Prisma Cargo Solutions in Germany contacted us before the container actually arrived and being prudent; I made sure everything was in place to avoid any complications. I’m sure I bothered them after a while, but I’ve never moved overseas before and was scared at some of the horror stories I had read about all moving companies in general. Thank goodness Prisma Cargo had coordinated some great companies to take care of us and looking back on the positive experience, we plan on using them to ship back to the US once my contract is over.
