  1. Terrible moving company.

    Professional Transportation Solutions LLC ( hereby referred to as PTS)was hired by Capital Moving Group (which I also gave a poor rating to) to move our furniture from South Carolina to Indiana. Our contract clearly states that moving blankets would be provided, that they had Professional door-to-door service, expert guidance wrapping all furniture with moving blankets, what a joke. Our nightmare started with them being 3 days late picking up our house full of furniture. We were closing on our house September 28th and they were to pick it up the 26th - 27th 2018. They did not arrive until September 30th. We were lucky in that we were given until October to vacate the house for new owners. We contacted PTS a week before pick up time and they assured us it was going to happen. On the 27th they let us know when we contacted them to find out where the truck was that it was broke down in Florida. It was a horrible nightmare trying to get them to pick up our furniture. It was to be a semi large enough to accommodate our 4 bedroom house. When they finally did show up it was 2 young men who had never moved furniture before and were only doing a favor for PTS's dispatcher. Not only that but they came late in the day with a large U-haul not nearly big enough for everything and absolutely no moving blankets. Our agreement was that they store the furniture free for up to 2 months until we purchased new home. We were told they would drop the trailer off in Illinois near our new home, but being that they only had a u-haul they rented two storage units in South Carolina and smashed a house full of furniture into them. That was problems 1-4. We were to give PTS 2 weeks notice as to when we wanted furniture to be delivered. We called them 2.5 weeks ahead of time for November 5, 2018 delivery. Starting on November 5th we were given numerous excuses as to why they wouldn't be delivering our furniture, scheduling problems, no crew, no truck, truck in Atlanta, truck in North Carolina, etc, etc. Finally we had delivery on approximately Nov 14th. During this delay numerous phone calls were made to PTS and Capital Moving Group for answers and after they ran out of excuses they stopped taking our calls. We then had to communicate via texting. This was problems 5-10. As they were unloading we began to see that every, and I do mean every wooden piece of furniture, from desks to beds to night stands, dressers, tables chairs were all scratched and gouged. Boxes were smashed, our 55" tv packed in a special box for TV's with bubble wrap and static cancelling wrap was smashed. It was clearly labeled TV. When I tried to contact PTS about all the damage they would not answer phone and only text us to complete a claim form. We were provided this form which had to be completed and sent back with the drivers, this was not enough time to accurately complete it and that I was in shock over all the damage, and that we didn't have time to open every box and inspect them for damaged items. I did the best I could and noted on the form that there were numerous items not inspected and boxes unopened. It has been over 2 weeks now and we have not heard a word concerning our claim. All of our furniture and appliances were 4 yrs old or newer, and now we have to look at our damaged furniture everyday and be reminded what a horrible experience this has been. Do not ever use this company.
