  1. Phenomenal Moving Service

Movers were phenomenal in my move today! They were on time, professional, very fast, and charged a reasonable price. I was happy to tip them. They made the process that I stressed out about for weeks 100% stress free. Will definitely use them in my next move.

  2. Packing and Moving

A Nightmare ! A local move to a smaller home , 8 miles , or approximately 15 min drive total distance between homes . #1. Packing scheduled day before move to begin at 0900. Packers showed up at 10:30 . Packed until 1:30. Stated they didn’t bring enough boxes and would finish would finish the packing on moving day . I requested they go back to the office and get more boxes and finish packing , was informed at this time there was “no office “. The driver left a list of the specific box # needs that he assessed was needed to complete the packing of my home for the following day for driver who would be completing the packing on the following day . #2. Move day. Not here at 9:00 as agreed . Closer to an hour or more late . Did not bring boxes , did not bring anyone to pack as agreed . Formal living room group , cream colored fabric , not wrapped , movers carrying furniture , including lamps , with lamp shades and light bulbs still on lamp . This observation alarmed me and I walked out to truck and stated “ this furniture has to be wrapped , you cannot load these lamps , they have to be packed . The lamps were removed and placed in the utility room of the house to be packed later . None of the furniture was shrink wrapped but instead some were covered with dirty moving pads . After loading the truck , the driver then drove the fully loaded truck across my beautifully landscaped front yard / irrigation system instead of taking a moment to accomplish an appropriate turn around in my driveway as others have effortlessly accomplished over the past 7 years ,including but not limited to fed ex, UPS, and multiple service providers . This Action was not logical and greatly alarmed me. I spoke to the driver about it later.

During the moving of the first load my cream colored couch and love seat were both soiled in multiple areas from being dragged across the floor of the moving truck , unwrapped . A mirror frame was broken , broken lamp shade, broken lamp , damage to drawers of an armoire and a desk that were not wrapped so of course doors and drawers swung open, unprotected during the move along with a dented bottom drawer to my stainless steel fridge .

The first load was unloaded with great difficulty . Two of the workers were diligent workers , in good physical condition making the best of their time . The other two were slower and did not coordinate as team members to be efficient with their time causing the unloading process to fall more on two members instead of four. There was a great level of difficulty and delay to get the armoire into the house until another person from a different crew stopped by and accomplished moving the piece rather quickly . It was at this time the driver notified me that they would only be able to get a second load , not a third one for the day . I immediately called the main number at Razorback Moving x3 . The first time I request packers and exhorted the listener ( assume it was Dave ) to send more crew if necessary , that we needed to complete the move . The second time I called I didn’t get the answering machine , the third time it rang a couple of times and was disconnected , perhaps I had been blocked .

I had to work the next day . I made arrangements to pay one of my adult children to take off work and let the movers onto the property at both the old and the new properties.

The disorganization , unprofessional conduct , sloppiness and disregard for personal property makes me wander how they stay in business . I wanted to support our local economy by using someone local . I would not recommend using this Company , there is no accountability on any level and the manager would not answer or return my phone calls when problems arose .

  3. Bad estimate, damages, damages

Rating should be -0-. This business should not be in business. We used them to move in June and they still have not returned our calls. They damaged literally every piece of furniture.

They blocked our calls immediately. They have not responded to our claims -with pictures and their forms. The driver was also taking pictures as they unloaded. I tried to find their offices when I went back to Northwest Ark. I could not find an office . Beware , Beware. This was the worst experience. Literally every piece of furniture is ruined. This is no exaggeration.

  4. Just Don’t. Please use anyone else.

See the review from the gentleman that was trying to move from Centerton to Springdale? I could basically copy and paste his review.

I did not receive a call yesterday confirming my move, I did call myself and Dave confirmed it.

Today they called and told me they’d be closer to the noon part of my 11:00am-12:00pm ETA. At 2:30pm they still hadn’t arrived. I called repeatedly both the movers and Dave and every “office” around NWA. Finally I decided I couldn’t trust these people (I close on the sale of my house tomorrow) with my belongings and I left three voicemails — 2 with Dave and 1 with the movers. I then text the movers and Dave and asked them each to be aware if they showed up I’d be turning them away.

After I’d told them not to show — they text me they were sorry for the inconvenience. I am now, after two hours of freak-out calling, working with another moving company. Every single moving company I called to get help said they get this exact call, on average between the 6 of them, 2-5 times a week in regards to Razorback Moving.

Use anyone else. I’ve moved several times in my life and this is the first experience I’ve ever had with a mover simply not showing up.

  5. No Call, No Show

If you are like me and don't have any idea where to start on who you should use for a moving company, you probably just googled "NWA Movers" and went from there. You might have found Razorback Moving & Storage. To be honest, there's not a lot of info on most of the moving companies in our area and most reviews are at least a year old. So I wanted to write a review that was more recent. Let me be clear - Do not use Razorback Moving & Storage under any circumstance. If you look at their website, it will look like they have multiple locations across Northwest Arkansas. This is not true - it's a lie. There are multiple phone numbers, but they all redirect to one person - Dave. Let me tell you how I know this for certain. I called the "Bentonville" office and spoke with Dave about a month ago. I booked a crew of 3 guys and 1 truck for Friday July 30th. I took off work so I could be there. As part of the initial setup, Dave and I texted some information back and forth after our phone call. I was told Dave would call me on Thursday July 29th to confirm the appointment. I did not receive a call, but I did text him and asked for confirmation that they would be there on 7/30. He replied and said yes - they would be there at 9am. So on 7/30 at 9am, I had not received a call or anything so I decided to call the Bentonville office. Even though I was calling within office hours, nobody answered. No big deal - I understand that an office might be busy. So I called Dave (from the number he texted me with) but there was no answer there either. So I decided to send Dave a text and ask for an update on their arrival time. Probably about 10:00, I decided to call the Bentonville office again and again, I received no answer. I have yet to receive any text or call from Dave either. I called Dave again and still got no answer. So then I thought - well I will call the other offices in NWA and at least talk to somebody with this company. I called the Rogers office and there was no answer. I called the Springdale office and there was no answer. I called the Fayetteville office and there was no answer. I called Dave again multiple times. I texted him multiple times. No responses from anywhere. So I go back to their website and found a physical address for the Bentonville location. I drove over there but get this - it's not actually there. The physical location is where the new Walmart Home Office is being built. Let me be clear - there is no Bentonville physical location. It's dirt. So then I thought well maybe the Bentonville office is working out of the Rogers office for the time being. So I head over to the physical address listed for the Rogers office and it's just a random house in a random residential neighborhood. I was dumbfounded. Someone happened to be walking out of the house so I asked if he knew anything about this place being a moving company and he said "No, but I get that all the time." So at this point, I realize this company is essentially a scam. Or at best, it is actively misrepresenting itself. I called Dave about 6 or 7 more times in a row and he started sending my calls directly to voicemail rather than letting them ring out. So at this point I know he knows I'm calling - he's just choosing not to answer. I tried calling all of the "offices" in Northwest Arkansas a few more times but none of them ever answered. So not only was Razorback Moving a no show with no call or explanation, but this company is actively misrepresenting themselves as much more legitimate than they really are. Please do not use this company. As you may know, it is very difficult to book movers (you need to do it about a month in advance). And when you find out on the day of your move that the company is not going to follow through on its commitment to you, it puts you in an impossible situation of trying to get another mover to move your stuff on next to zero notice. Luckily we were able to do so but I don't want anyone reading this to be in that situation like we were. And if you are wondering, no, Dave never reached out to me - not later that day, the next day, never. He just completely ghosted my wife and I and left us hanging. Do not use this company. You would be better off renting a UHaul and moving your things yourself.

  6. Excellent work!!

Contacted Razorback Moving to help with a move from a storage area in Springdale, to Bentonville. The movers met me on time, moved everything quickly, carefully, and shrink wrapping furniture as needed for added protection. They delivered as promised, in a timely way, and were friendly and polite. I definetly recommend them, and would use them if we have a move in the future.

  7. Life Savers!

We needed movers at the last minute at 3:00 in the afternoon and these guys were able to come help us move within a couple hours!! They were awesome and super helpful. I would totally recommend them anytime. We are so grateful for the last minute availability and super friendly service. Thank you so much! If we ever need movers again we will be calling Razorback Movers.

  8. Could not have been happier.

I used the Razorback Moving company in early February, and I was extremely impressed by the quality of work provided. They damaged nothing and really knew how to safely protect my furniture as they moved it. I have used many moving companies in the past, and have had my furniture damaged. The three men who moved my belongings from a storage unit in Rogers to Bella Vista were truly a Godsend. If I ever have any reason to hire a moving company again, I will use these guys. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

  9. Highly recommend!

Referred to this company by my realtor and I couldn't have been happier with my experience. I hate moving but they made it as painless as possible. Very professional outfit..will highly recommend!

  11. Definitely worth the money!!

Couldn't be more satisfied with the service I received by Dave, Omar, and Tre when dropping by the Rogers location 4 days ago! Very helpful and wonderful people.

  12. Horrible Moving Services!! Beware!!

I am extremely disappointed with this company. They came highly recommended however the service that was provided was extremely poor. I bought brand new furniture just a few months ago, I hired Razorback Moving to move my 1750 Sqft house within 5 miles of my new house. I had most items packed in storage bins and boxes. The movers damaged every single piece of furniture in my house. They even threw away a sofa table that they destroyed without even letting me know about it. I found the table broken beyond repair in the trash. My dining room table was one of the pieces of furniture that was brand new and they dropped it gauging 3 huge chunks of wood from the table top. They did not take the legs off of the table so when they were moving it, they sat stuff on the table and then pushed the table which resulted in the legs becoming loose and splitting the wood around the bottom of the table top where the legs connect. They broke 2 of the hooks off of my coat rack. Then when they put the coat rack in my new house, they made sure they put the broken side against the wall to hide the damage. To this day, we still haven't found the hooks that were on the coat rack. They destroyed the evidence so they can deny responsibility. The living room furniture was also new, they packed something against back of the living room chair resulting in the fabric having a permanent indention. The bedroom suite, also brand new, they damaged the nightstands, by chipping the top of them. The dresser they did not cover so they sat stuff on the top of it and scratched the finish off of the dresser. We have a platform bed with drawer around the sides and at the foot of the bed. Instead of taking the bed completely apart, the movers just removed the drawers and detached the headboard from the frame and slid the frame out of the house. This caused the frame to be unstable and also scratched the finish on the frame. They also chipped the base of the headboard while loading onto the truck. I have 3 decorative metal trunks. They smashed the trunks causing the metal to be dented. I also have a metal workbench that I bought from Sam's Club just a couple of weeks prior to the move, they slammed it against the side of the truck denting the front of it. We have a huge 4 piece desk that they damaged the surface of the desk by not covering it during the move as well as the overhead cabinets. They shoved the 2 wheel hand dolly into the front of the cabinets, scratching it as well. Attached are some of the pictures from the damage this company caused. They sent out 4 movers and took over 9.5 hours to move 1750 Sqft and they did not move everything, we still had to spend a full day moving the rest of the stuff. Also, they showed up an hour and half late. I had to push the closing of the house back due to them showing up late. Then when we went to close on the house, it took a little longer than expected so the movers had about an hour and half break before we got back to let them in the new house. I still paid Razorback Moving for that hour that their movers were sitting in my new driveway doing nothing. I truly would not have cared to pay them for that hour of them sitting had they not damaged EVERY SINGLE PIECE OF NEW FURNITURE in my house! I also paid Razorback Moving around $1,500 for them to damage my items. Since then I have contacted them to get them to take care of the damaged property, they demanded photos of the items, so I sent them to them. They are claiming 1) They have not gotten the photos and 2) They are not able to open the photos. It is truly delay/stall tactics to hopefully not have to pay for the damage they caused to our property. Since this I have also learned that Razorback Moving is notorious for damaging others belongings. I have a co-worker that Razorback Moving moved her family and they cause damaged to a hand carved leg on a $10,000 bar in their house. They drug the bar across the floor which sheared the hand carved leg off of the bar. I would highly advise anyone to find a different moving company if you want to protect your valuables.

  13. Best Movers Ive used!!

I have moved quite a bit in my life and have hired movers a few times. I can say this was the best moving experience yet. The movers were awesome - down to earth, hard working, entertaining, etc. They made my move fun - it was stress free during that three hour window. The customer service in the office was fantastic. I love their witty emails with helpful tips. Whomever writes for this company is excellent! Let's face it - moving is not fun. It's stressful, but Razorback Moving makes it as stress free as possible and kept me laughing with their emails. Razorback Moving Company has impressed me so much I will be sure to tell all my friends and colleagues in Fayetteville about my experience. Thank you Razorback for the wonderful experience.

  14. Called for help and they never showed!!

I think the service is really poor!! I called them to schedule help for moving a few items from my locker. They said they would help me but when I was waiting at the locker with a rented truck they never called me back or show up to help!! Poor service!!

  15. Best Moving Experience thus far!

This was our first time hiring a moving company and Razorback were thorough, transparent and very friendly. First, Dave the owner/boss came to our old apt and evaluated how much would be moved to our new place, based on that he gave us an estimate and we scheduled the move. On the day of the move, the crew showed up on time and were very friendly and careful with our stuff. They managed to carry our very heavy Ikea Karlstad sofa bed up two flights of stairs (it wouldn't fit in the elevator) during one of the hottest days of this month without a hitch. Yes, they are that dedicated. We made sure to keep them hydrated and stay out of the way. If we have to move again, and I hope it won't be for a while, we will most definitely use Razorback Moving.
