1. Real movers/road Runner moving and storage.

   This company currently has my mother’s belongings. They are almost two weeks late in delivery and still tell me that they don’t have a truck to transport her furniture. Now I call several times a day and leave messages to get an update and no one will answer the phone or return a call. Mike Miller says he owns the company and that there is no one else above him to speak with about the issues we are having. Can anyone help us with getting my mother’s belonings back? If there is someone from this company that can positively assist me I will gladly Delete this review.

2. I wish I could do negative stars.

   This company is the biggest fraud. After lying about being able to handle a military move and the forms of payment they accept I booked our PCS from FL to IL. They movers showed up 3 hours late with 3 guys and 1 didn't have a form of ID, 1 had some kind of outstanding warrant or felony (was denied base access) they lied about how much the move would be and held out stuff hostage.they finally delivered after making us deposit cash into their bank account (suddenly they didn't take credit cards) the truck wasn't big enough and we had to throw away some of our stuff, we paid them cash to get our stuff and they kept lying about when our stuff would be on the road. Finally our stuff is on the road and its delivered by someone who didn't have a drivers license in hand. Get him on base after an hour. He opens the truck door and all we see is our stuff destroyed. Everything was moldy or destroyed. We were assured it would be taken care of through claims and that was a lie. They offered $68 for our entire house worth of items destroyed. The few boxes that weren't damaged were opened and missing items or just empty. They went through our stuff and stole what they wanted. They opened sealed military envelopes, stole items they wanted and left behind beer cans in our boxes. They lied when having me sign the paperwork and what I was signing at our original destination and then added things in front of my husband to papers I signed earlier when they got there. We had to unload the truck ourselves because they didn't send anyone and we ended up paying 3x the amount we were supposed to. I didn't think they could get any lower but I just opened our deployment homecoming box for decorations and most of that is missing as well. How do you steal items like that?!

   Close to the beginning of the school-year, I used this company to move my son into his shared 2 bedroom home from Georgia with his roommates. Even though we had a relatively large load, they seemed to handle it with ease. Not only that, everything was well taken care of. They were very professional, friendly, and timely in their work - ensuring that my kid was able to start the school year right. I would happily choose to work with Real Movers Moving again in my future moving needs.

4. My successful moving experienced.

   At first, I was a little worried using Real Movers because it was my first time with them but they proved I was worrying for nothing. They came right on time. The workers that were helping me move out of my two bedroom apartment was very careful with my property, they were friendly and they acted like professionals through out our pleasant accounters. My properties arrived at my new apartment in perfect condition. I'm glad I founded Real Movers if I were to move again I would definitely hire them for their service.

5. Rip Off.

   On October 12, 2017, I booked a reservation with Real Movers. I spoke with Nikki and John. I mainly spoke with Nikki as John more so closed the transaction and passed my saIe to Nikki. I advised her that I had 12 boxes and bags with clothes. She advised me that the bags cannot be shipped separately and they would have to go in boxes. Nikki stated she’ll add 9 more boxes for the clothes. When the final contract was drawn, it included the price along with 21 boxes being inclusive to the final quote as Nikki verbally confirmed this with me after I asked her three times to be exact that I wouldn’t be charged extra for supplies and she stated “Correct.”
   
   When the drivers completed the transaction, they presented an invoice with an additional amount of $202.50 (for the boxes that Nikki added in the quote) after I paid the first half of the move. However, they told me I had to pay for the boxes and extra cubic feet. I told them Nikki advised me she’ll add in the extra boxes to account for the clothes. I called and spoke with Isabel who stated she couldn’t help me!
   
   I was called by the delivery driver and advised my items arrived (late). Before completing the call, the delivery driver had the audacity to rudely stare they would not release my items until I paid the extra balance of $202.50 for the extra cubic feet that they added in due to Nikki’s error. The caller/driver was extremely rude!
   
   I advised Stephanie that I was overcharged and that Nikki made an error and I was dismissed. I even went to their office and was advised the owner was not there. They refused to give me a refund for the overcharge which was Nikki’s error. They also charged me more than 10% for the deposit! A $1200 move became $1700+!! I advised Stephanie I was going to contact the Better Business Bureau and she told me to go right ahead! $400+ error on their behalf!?
   
   
   
   BEWARE OF THIS MOVING COMPANY! If you do not want to get robbed and do not want to have your items delivered after the proposed delivery time and unprofessional movers, please choose another company!

6. My experience.

   When I was about to move, I was a bit sceptical because it is a long distance from Florida to Texas my family and I knew it was a very long drive and wanted to play it safe. A friend of mine actually recommend the Real Moving movers to me. I kid you not, when I say their service was impeccable. They were very polite, punctual and hard working. On the move date their team arrived an hour earlier, to pack the boxes and everything into the truck, so that we could leave and arrive on time. The whole trip took the whole day, that's including the pit-stops. The drivers were road worthy, careful and law abiding. All our properties arrived in the same condition as they left. Not a pin out of place.
   These people are great. I would definitely use them again.

7. The Best Moving Company Ever!

   I recently moved back home from school and this moving company truly made my experience a breeze! The movers were on time and careful with all my fragile boxes! They were careful with all the souvenirs I collected from studying abroad since my possessions mean the world to me. Because of their quality assistance, I will only hire Real Movers Moving and Storage the next time I make a transition.

8. Real Disaster!

   REAL MOVERS ARE REAL SCAMMERS.This was 1 of the most horrific experiences in my life, and it still is not over!! Everything that I will say from this point on can be backed by video and pictures. Fact 1: Once I paid them, I had not been able to reach them for 2 days. There is a series of numbers that they contact you from ie.305-479-2287 and 844-653-1407 that once you have paid you will not even be able to leave a voicemail. Once you do get through, I have video footage of being on hold for over 30 minutes, and this happen MULTIPLE times. Fact 2: When moving, I acknowledge that all estimates are just that an estimate and cubic feet typically is reasonably off. Fact 3: They will aggressively express that they are a real moving company and they conduct all their moves, which is what I was told in 16 different text messages from Jon. That is a LIE. His number is 754-666-2195 (666..yikes!)My things were unknowingly outsourced and they tacked on a boat load of fees such as, packing fees, moving fees, distance fees, stairs fees, to name a few. Mind you, in the original agreement you sign it says those things are covered, like stairs, but they try to add that to your bill and hold your things hostage until you agree to pay. Fact 4: In your agreement, there is a fine print that states you need to be able to cover a 48 or 53 foot trailer in your apartment. I was immediately told once my things arrived that I have to pay an additional $350 because their 72ft 18 WHEELER can not fit in my complex. When I asked about it, they said the trailer is 53 foot but the entire truck is larger, mind you, I never saw the imaginary truck to be able to determine it's size however I have a video of the driver stating that REAL MOVERS intentionally mislead people to thinking the truck is not the size as stated and that he frequently has this problem. Fact 5: I was originally told my things would be there in 3 days, 4 days maximum by Jon on the 26th. That is a LIE. I paid on the October 25th, my things were picked up on the 25th. I did not receive my items until November 2nd and they were DAMAGED and I had MISSING items on my actual inventory list. Scheduling was a disaster, I was told my things later would arrive by that Sunday by Isabella(rude), they never showed up. Then Monday I was told to be available at 9am, I took off of work, THEY NEVER SHOWED UP!! Tuesday at 10am was the next call time and guess what? THEY NEVER SHOWED UP! I called numerous times, could not get anyone on the phone, and finally around 4pm Real Movers answered their phone and told me they could not get in touch with my driver. Felix the driver finally called at 7pm and said he would be there first thing in the morning. I specifically asked Felix would I be his first move to avoid any other scheduling issues, he assured me I would be and guess what? FELIX DID NOT SHOW UP! He ended up coming later that afternoon with broken tvs, new charges, and someone elses clothes. I have this disaster on video. My clothes did not come, so I literally have minimal clothing, and an ENTIRE table is missing, the list goes on with damages upon damages, both emotionally and physical damages to my items. FACT 6: Once my damaged things were unloaded, the agreement says they would do a basic reassemble, to which I had 1 bed to assemble, it was never assembled. In fact because I did not possess the added fees that they tacked on after they arrived, and unloaded. FELIX SNATCHED THE INVENTORY OUT OF MY HANDS WITHOUT LETTING ME CHECK IF ALL MY THINGS WERE THERE AND LEFT!! He specifically said, "another job is calling me Nikita, I need to go." I relayed ALL OF THIS to jon the operations manager, Patrice, and other managers a week ago and the only response I got was a copy pasted generic response, saying they will investigate and get back to me. It has been 8 days, and guess what, THEY NEVER SHOWED UP. I am out of money. I am out of my things. I literally had to take time off from work from the anguish this has caused. REAL RIP OFF!

   

9. My moving experience.

   The movers came to move us. I am relocating due to my job. I would move my house but due to my disabilities from the military. So my wife chose. Them. We were going to cancel the movers and go with someone else and the manager called "RIGHT AWAY" and informed of their A rating in the BBB. So they came and got a check for 900 in the beginning after a 250 deposit. We got rid of alot of stuff and were honest with the inventory we had. The estimator gave us an estimate of 1500 or 2000. He would not give me a ball park to load the supposed rest of stuff to get my stuff there since we were supposedly over the limit. He said we have to load it and see. So a mattres ending up costing me 180 dollars? And my tvs were packed for free. Whoopty doo. You charged me 399 for boxes to wrap my stand? I could have done that myself. You hold us hostage by having my stuff on the truck and demand more money. I have called left messages and my wife also. Amazing you have my money and items but wont call back. Way to treat a Wounded Warrior Veteran.

10. My Household Goods are Being Held HOSTAGE!

    After reading these reviews, all I can say is the same exact things and extortion tactics are being used on me at this very moment. I was in a terrible accident and had my stuff put in storage until I got well enough to have them delivered from Florida to Indiana. Every single tactic that these previews written has happened to me and I have never dealt with such horrible people in my life! They have threatened my safety, they have threatened me not ever seeing my things again unless I pay their extortion rates, we have gone from a $1750 move to over $6000 which they have wittled down to a whopping $3500 + storage fees more on top of what I have already paid! I have reported this extortion and price gouging to the FMCSA & to the Attorney General of Florida. They currently have an investigator on my case and I encourage you all that this company has done you wrong, to call the Florida Attorney General's office and let them know that you were robbed and extorted by this company! Let's pray that the AG's office and DOT can shut these people down forever! I have had so many threats lashed out on me from the so called owner Joe Palnermo. My last conversation I had with him on Monday, October 16th was, unless I pay him $3400 more on top of what I have already paid $250 deposit, $748 to pick up and $748 due on delivery..my things were suppose to be delivered on 10/6/17 and I am still without my items as of today, October 22, 2017. He told me on our last conversation that he is aware of the DOT complaint I placed on them and I will NEVER SEE MY STUFF AGAIN that he will show me how to play hardball! This company is 5 states away and I have been worried about my safety and am looking over my shoulder because they have scared me with threats that have consequences. So PLEASE, I AM BEGGING YOU ALL THAT HAVE BEEN DONE WRONG WITH THIS COMPANY TO CALL THE FLORIDA ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE NOW WHILE THEY HAVE AN INVESTIGATOR ON THIS COMPANY! THE AG'S # IS 954-712-4609. PLEASE CALL ASAP! LETS PUT THESE PRICE GOUGING THIEVES OUT OF BUSINESS WHERE THEY CANT EVER DO THIS TO ANYONE EVER AGAIN!..PRICE GOUGERS, THIEVES, LIARS, EXTORTIONIST, CRIMINALS!

11. Great experience.

    Hi, I would strongly recommend the real movers to my friends and neighbors in Miami. they did a very good job by moving all our valuables with 100% care. even though my parents were worried about their antiques, the real movers took great care of it. the packing and moving were done all in one go and they didn't want us to be stressed. my kids are so excited to take their entire play yard to our new home. and yes this makes me a proud dad. the price for shifting was less when compared with other Miami movers. and this helped me to save some for new furniture.

12. Stay Away From This Company!!

    I don't normally write reviews about companies but I'm compelled this 1 time because of how they wronged me. the name of the sales person I dealt with was MIKE SILVIA. He miss informed me. he wanted to know how many cubic feet I was packing I told him I did not know but my storage size was 10x10, not fully loaded. he said you have nothing to worry about a 10x10 storage is no more than 600 cubic feet. he gave me a quote for $1800+. I agreed because my budget was supposed to be $1500. I thought I found a great company and an awesome deal. Little did I know, his movers would bump up my fees $600+. I called the office, they dodge my calls and give me the run around. when I finally spoke with someone ( a so called manager) she claim they won't do anything about they overage. I practically begged, because in all honesty, I did not have the money to pay them. They show no compassion, no understanding. a move which was supposed to cost me a little over $1800 has turn out to cost me over $2500. And wait. $2500 is what MIKE SILVIA initially told me the move would cost. wait I told him thanks for his time, I'll try another company, he asked what was my budget, I told him $1500. He asked me to wait so that He could talk to a manager. 30 seconds later, he claim his manager agreed on $1800. Guess who's a cheated fool? ME!!. Guess who's laughing all the way to the bank?? REALMOVERS!! THEIVES AND CHEATERS. I CURSE EVERY DIME OF THAT MONEY THAT THEY SPEND. FROM THE COMMISSION MIKE GOT TO WHAT THE COMPANY BANKS..

13. Great long distance movers.

    I would highly recommend Real Movers Moving and Storage they were professional and prompt. After receiving a job transfer out of state with only one week to pack the family and house Real Movers Moving and Storage came to the rescue. The staff was helpful the moving team arrived on time and packed all past minute items. The movers were considerate and patient through the whole process. Delivery to new home was on time, very reasonably priced, and all items placed in proper rooms. Thank you so much. Would definitely use again.

14. Great Company!!

    I had to leave a comment. This was by far the greatest moving company I have ever worked with so far. They were on time and just so lovely to be around..very respectful and organized. The movers carried all my belongings carefully. I never feared that it would get broken because I knew it was in good hands. Over all I would recommend this company to my friends, family, basically everyone. All my items arrived safely to my new house and the movers helped put everything where I wanted it. It was an amazing experience! I will definitely use them again!

15. Please Please Please STAY AWAY.

    Please please please I repeat. DO NOT USE THESE SERVICE. These guys are fraud. They quoted me for a medium size bed, sofa, tv, and 3 boxes and a small table with 4 chairs. They packed everything. They put on the truck without telling me that the price will increase. I signed everything. At the end of the packing and they have everything on the truck. The guy took the paper on the table that I already signed and said there is an increase and quickly wrote the rest of the estimation. Mind you, I was quoted for these for 1062 dollars. The guy increased it to 1990 dollars. When I told him that wait a minute this is wrong. Why wouldn't you tell me that if you I go over the limit which I think is a lie. It will increase the rate. He went downstair and told me please call management. I went upstairs to call management and they quickly left. Now they are calling me and want me to pay 1990 dollars for my stuff or they are not delivering it or they will throw my stuff in the garbage. They want to charge me 200 dollars an hr to pay for their movers to remove a small office table that I purchase for 60 dollars. so they can make the space. They gave me 3 option. 1 option they can keep my deposit of 650 dollars and throw my stuff in the garbage. 2) I can pay them 200 dollar an hr for them to make space and throw most of my stuff in the garbage which I think they are completely lying, and I don't have much of that space taken for real. 3) they will keep my stuff in a storage and for me to make payment until all my payment is completed and they can deliver my stuff ( they will also charge me for storage space). Beware beware. Very unprofessional. They said I am lying the guy told me that the space will increase. I have never seen a company that call their customers a liar. What Got me is that by the time I walked outside they left with my stuff. How can you leave and run with my stuff so you can discuss with me to charge me later. This is wrong very wrong. I will call you guys to court. I will contact the police. Even thought they charge me that much. I even am willing to pay 1400 to get my stuff. Not to pay 1400 for you to throw my stuff away. They are wrong and very wrong. I am upset and frustrating. They were very nice at first but I have never ever seen anything like this in my life. I will contact "mymovingreviews" How come they are letting a company like this on their website that is leading people to take their stuff and run with it and to call you later to charge you extra or they will throw your stuff in the garbage. I will write a review everywhere. I will call BBB. I will warn everybody about you guys so they can stay away. I am 100000% positive that the positive reviews they have there , they put them. I just can't understand this. Thief.
