NEVER USE Road Runner Moving!!
This company is terrible, as they damage your items , and do not return calls or e- mails. They are totally unprofessional and the owner - Chase Carlisle - is a con artist. Please tell EVERYONE considering using this company that they are to be avoided as they are not reputable. I will be glad to give anyone my story.
Road runner damages your furniture.
Horrible company!! Damaged several furniture items, will not repair, won’t respond to calls, texts, emails! Do not use!!
Do not use this company for moving.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Tell your family and friends as well. Here is my experience moving from Bham to ATL (you cannot make this stuff up). I have moved over 20 times and they are the worst movers I've ever used.
1) They brought the wrong sized truck so many items were left and had to be brought later. Some of which never came at all.
2) They significantly damaged a number of items including my grand piano. I spent $500 to fix the piano and they refused to reimburse me.
3) They lost items. They actually left them on the truck. After 3 emails and 3 phone calls and 2 weeks later they "found" them under some blankets on the truck. This was only after I demanded reimbursement for the missing items.
4) Worst of all, during the move the "lead guy" made inappropriate comments to my 15 year old daughter on 3 different occasions to the point where she felt uncomfortable and went out of her way to avoid him. The lead guy did this.
I have now gotten an attorney involved. They are a terrible. Use anyone but them. Feel free to private message me if you want any more details.

My company used Roadrunner of Hoover several times-the employees are great however the last two moves were stressful due to the rudeness of the owner-Jim. He was curt and rude to someone I had referred to his business and I let it go. My company had arranged to use them prior to that incident and when the day arrived he did not have it on his calendar.
I called to ask him why the rudeness when he missed the appointment and I was told he didn't want to hear it and he hung up on me. I will never use them again as they have become too busy to handle moves properly. If you want your mover to show up I would not call Roadrunner of Hoover, AL.
