Solid service.
I relocated to Indianapolis from Arizona. I called Rudd's and left a message. Within 20 minutes, Steve Rudd (owner) provided a fair quote to unload my ABF trailer and I decided to book his service. Nothing but impressed! Steve and his crew were on time and ready to go. No damages, just great service and value. I would gladly use his service again!
Awesome and Very Professional Help.
Steve Rudd immediately called me back after my initial phone call went to voice mail. He also sent me a confirmation email the day before my move to ensure everything was as I needed. His level of communication was very high.
Steve showed up a few minutes early on the day of the move and we immediately began. His appearance, personality, and demeanor left me with absolutely nothing to worry about during or after my move. I felt very confident and comfortable with his presence in my new home. Both my wife and 4 year old daughter were present during the move and he was very courteous in their presence.
Steve is a very large and strong man. His moving technique is very similar to the "Bull in a China shop" commercial. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FMKd1NkTEB8 He is a professional mover and helped me properly move several large and very heavy items down and up 3 flights of stairs. There were no damages to anything, including the walls of both houses or my back.
At the end of the move it was a pleasure to move and much easier than I had expected. My 4 year old daughter ran across the front lawn when he left, she was disappointed he was leaving.

Three flights of stairs-Move.
Steve Rudd is a TRUE professional; both in his attitude and work product.
He was a few minutes early and fully prepared to do the job. This was a small move, as they go, but included taking things down THREE flights of stairs.
It rained heavily all the time and he made sure nothing was damaged in any way. I have moved many times and know the best movers are the ones who know how to pack a truck so nothing shifts or falls. And to pack in such a manner and order that unpacking is a breeze. He did all of this amazingly well.
I cannot recommend Steve Rudd and his work more highly. I have mobility issues and am a senior lady; he took great effort in treating me with respect.
Don't call anyone else, just call Steve Rudd!

I had to cancel with a previously scheduled moving company after reading their online reviews. I only had a few days to find someone to help me load/unload the truck I had rented.
I found Rudds Moving Labor Services on Craigslist; I visited the website and was happy to read all the amazing reviews. I called and left a voice message and within a day Steve got back to me with a very reasonable quote and had no problem working in a last minute move. A day or two before the move, he emailed to confirm the date and time. On the day of the move, he showed up on time and ready to go.
I told Steve that I would be able to help move the furniture & load the truck so he did not bring any additional helpers.
Well, the night before the move I fell in the parking lot, so once Steve showed up the next day we both quickly realized that I was not going to be much help.
Steve was very accommodating and explained that the loading & unloading would take longer than we had scheduled because he would be doing most of it by himself. I felt so bad for him, I am sure he was not happy about it but Steve was extremely kind and understanding. He was meticulous about packing the truck. He made sure everything would fit in the truck and that nothing would get damaged.
He drove the truck and I followed in my car from Indianapolis, IN to North Manchester, IN. When we arrived everything was still just as he had packed it. We dropped off the truck in North Manchester & Steve rode back with me in my car to Indianapolis, IN. He was very nice, pleasant and fun to hang out with! I would highly recommend Steve for your moving needs. He is AMAZING!

Steve was meticulous about packing the truck. He made sure everything would fit in the truck and that nothing would get damaged.
We drove the truck from Indy to Denver. When we arrived everything was still just as he had packed it. The moving labor we used in Denver even commented on how well the truck was loaded.
I would highly recommend Steve for your moving needs.

Far exceeded our expectations!
We were moving our son from Indiana to the DC area and good portion of the items were in a storage unit. We hired Rudds Moving Labor Service to help us load our moving truck. Steve and another guy showed up on time and ready to work. They quickly evaluated what was needed to get the items loaded and got it all done in the time frame they had quoted. They had to first go out home and load items from there so they could be incorporated with the other larger items, then they had to go to a storage unit and load several large pieces of furniture and sevearl boxes and crates. Even though it was very hot out and working in a storage unit was very hot, they did not let that slow them down. They loaded the truck efficiently and carefully. They were respectful of our items and packed the truck so well that even after driving the truck 10 hours away to the DC area, not one thing was moved or broken. I cannot say enough about them. They quoted me two guys for four hours for $200. We were only going to use them to get the large items loaded and then do the rest ourselves. They were so efficient and they just kept working, they were able to get everything loaded in just over the four hours. They did not charge hardly anything for the overage. They were absolutely more than fair. You can tell why they have been in business for over 25 years. They know how to do their job and keep their clients happy. We have had other moving experiences that would qualify for the nightmare stories and we are so grateful that this experience was not one of those. Moving is stressful all by itself having bad movers is possibly the worst case scenario. I would say that hiring Steve Rudds company was one of the best things I did for the move. I would recommend Rudds Moving Labor Service to anyone who needs manpower to move things. Whether you are moving across the country or just need help moving some items from one place to another, I would choose Rudds. I will most definitely use them again when I need to hire movers. .

For my boyfriend and I to pack up our truck it took us days. These two men, Steve and another gentleman, unloaded our truck in 2.5 hours. Not only did they do it in a very timely manner, but they did an excellent job. You can tell they have had years of experience. My boyfriend and I looked into some different companies because of the outrageous prices that were given to us by our moving company to unload the truck. These guys did it in less than half of the cost; same number of hours, same number of men. They worked really hard. Not only did they unload, but anywhere I asked them to place the furniture, they did. I am extremely impressed with their work and wish there were guys like this any other time I have moved! You will not regret it, there is no sneaky business or "catch" that comes with the price. Excellent workers. I would recommend them to anyone.

I had an awful moving experience with All My Sons and was reluctant to have to find another moving company in Indianapolis, IN. I came across Steve Rudd however online. They were by far the most affordable and decided to contact his moving company. I am really happy I did. The base price for 4hrs of labor was equivalent to what other companies charge for 2 hrs of labor but Steve Rudd and his guys were not only cheaper, but very professional and worked the entire 4 hours with no breaks in between. My items were handled with care and packaged properly. I am planning another move soon long distance, and will be using Steve's company. I recommend this company 100%. Good service, prompt arrival, handled items with care, professional/respectable, hard working, and dedicated to the job without any breaks so things are finished timely and efficiently --> and an affordable rate on top of that. Best moving company..hands down.

Quality service from a very experienced crew. I'm happy with the final cost of my move. I highly recommend their service. I will be moving again in about 6 months and I will definitely call on Rudds again.I appreciate a job well done and this crew didn't disappoint.On a final note..
