  1. FRAUD!! Contracts signed under Duress! Extortion!!

Safe Load Moving and Stoage (SLMS) was hired as a subcontractor by First Priority Van Lines (FPVL) to move our belongings. DAY OF MOVE SLMS forced me to sign a new contract under duress and if I refused they would leave and refuse to honor the original contract we signed. We had to be out of our house by the next day so were forced to sign new contract as it was too late to find new moving company. SLMS added more charges after packing. Move cost 2x as much as should have. We were extorted. Original contract had us paying $6983.19 and after SMLS added on fees (that they just made up) we ended up paying $15,221.72. If we would not have paid their ransom then they would have taken our belongings away and not given them to us after paying more money. They also did not pack our items safely and many were damaged.

  2. DANGER - Horrible company!!

We recently hired a moving brokerage company ( E Z Moving and Storage) to handle our interstate move from Florida to Texas. The company hired was Safe Load Moving and Storage. From the very beginning it was a nightmare that only got worse with time. They are completely non-responsive to the customer.
Our boxes were packed by throwing everything they could reach into a wardrobe box and the packing paper on top of it to hide the mess. They broke our head board and damaged our BBQ grill. We had a wardrobe box that when we opened it, it was soaking wet which after the 8 days it took them to get our stuff to us was ruined because of mold and mildew.
They lost (or it magically disappeared) a box with all of our connector cables, cords, an apple TV, a satellite dish receiver and all of our remote controls.
When I tried to call the foreman, "Nir" he refused to speak with me and hung up only to immediately call his driver back who was standing right next to me and told his driver to leave.
Stay away from both of these companies!! they will not respond to our request for a claim, they will not take my calls, and they will not acknowledge that there was an issue.
I am now being forced to take legal action just to be able to put in a claim!

  3. Would recommend them without hesitation.

I'm really impressed by Safe Load Moving and Storage; they're on the ball! I called to get a ball park price on what it would cost me to move 2 large self storage units. The girl on the phone was very nice and said that she had a manager in the area where my units were located, and would dispatch him to meet me at the cube smart storage facility to look over my units. He arrived on time and looked at the units for me and left some basic information on Safe Load Moving and Storage . I received an estimate via email the same day, the price was fair and the estimate very professional. I hired them, the truck showed up on time and did a great job. The guys were very nice, and helped me put my beds back together. All in all a great experience. I would definitely use Safe Load Moving and Storage again and recommend them without hesitation.

  4. Great Service, Highly Recommend.

Very professional company. Showed up one time, moved everything, set everything up that the tore down, and made sure items were in their correct place before they left. The two men we had were very kind and helpful. They showed up on time and arrived a little earlier than their estimate. I don't usually write reviews but they deserve this good A review. I would recommend this company to anyone! Worth every penny I paid. .

  5. Good Quality Service.

I was referred to Safe Load Moving & Storage by a family friend who used them in the past after hearing about the great service they gave my Aunt I wanted to give them a try. The sales person was really helpful. I was giving a price on full packing services and I Went with it. I didn't have to do anything the movers did everything for me. These guys are great they showed up first thing in the morning to make sure the job was done in one day. It's safe to say I'm another happy customer.

  6. Excellent Service.

I contacted several moving companies regarding my move from Las Nevada after speaking with 4-5 different companies I decide to go with safe load moving and storage. I'm very happy with their service, the sales person was very informative and the movers were Extremely helpful and courteous. I was quoted $3,508 for the move and my price did remain the same, I will definitely use safe load again for my next move.

  7. Stop These Crooks!!

Everything that was said about these people is so true!! They charged us more than their quote! They were so rough and unprofessional packing our stuff! Showed up with a little moving truck knowing we had a 2600 sq. Ft. House and many outside items. They Had to make several trips. We stored our stuff with them for 21/2 years and around the beginning of the 2nd year they told us we would have pay 200.00 more a month for our storage because someone else bought the company (which was a lie) but we would still be dealing with them. After reading all of the reviews my husband decided it's best we get our stuff ourselves. Also because they tried to charge us a 1000.00 more than the contract stated for delivery. When he gets there he finds out they still own it! They then tell him he has to pay the 1000.00 to get it out of storage even though we got our stuff before the contract was up. Well we got our stuff and didn't have to pay the 1000.00. But then we find out he has some of his stuff or someone else's stored with ours, which we were paying extra for. See they don't own the storage facility they just rent it. Well all the top row of our boxes had been walked on and opened! I can't even begin to tell you how many things were damaged or missing. Ie. A flat screen tv, cracked spa etc. Then because we had another company come in and move it we found out how much it actually weighed and there was a 6800lb. Difference that good old safe load over charged us for. These people need to be stopped! We are doing what we can but I just hope all the reviews will make a difference also.

  8. Overcharged.

They picked up last minute due to crazy circumstances on my end, which I was grateful for.  They talked a great talk and quoted me a resonable price, based on estimated weight. Then when it came time for pick up they were hours late.  I was out of town, so my friend was facilitating for me and was inconvinced by their tardiness.  Communication was poor even though the pick up crew had my phone number and I was available.   When I they finished the pick up and called with the total cubic feet, I was confused. I had been given a quote for weight (switching after contract signed  I believe is illegal). The driver told me it was late and he didn't have time yo go to scale prior to pick up. left with no choice it stood as was. Upon delivery by a different company, something that I was specifically told wouldn't happen (subcontracting), I noticed a discrepancy in cubic feet. I was the first delivery from a packed truck and it was clear that my things took up 700 cubic feet.  I was told, and paid for, 850 cubic feet. I thereby over paid by hundreds of dollars. When I notified the company and sent pictures, I was given the run around. Never refunded or compensated, or even return call. I of course had things scratched and broken. I have with every move, with no recourse. This company puts you at such ease initially, I thought I may have a good one-for once. Alas, they are scammers too. .

  9. Lost items/over charges.

Basicaly, my review sounds like everyone else. Lousy service. After the mover loaded the truck, he hit me up for another $1000.00. I had to pay since I was on a tight schedual at that point. He delivered my goods to a reputible overseas shipping company who I continue to use. Since his delivery was late, I missed the boat (no pun intended) and had to schedual on the next boat which wasn't for another 45 days.  I recieved my goods minus over 2000 thousand dollars worth of welding equipment.  I called uval and he said he had my goods and he offered to return them to AZ within 2 weeks. That was over a year ago. Everytime I call, I get the same song and dance.    You will find that the contact numbers on this company are no longer good. However..I have his cell phone numbers. If you need them, here they are. 702-589-1725 and 1726.  So..all I can do now is drive to Vegas and try to get my equipment back, provided he hasn't sold it.

  10. Ripped Off!!

I share with Mari, I was ripped off by these people.  I was told that my ENTIRE household EVERYTHING was lost in hurricane Irene in 2011 of August.  They did not try to compensate for anything; have not been able to reach them on the telephone.  When I did speak with Ryan, he claims that my property was lost due to the storm and I could not be compensated.  I have every message from him saved on my computer and telephone as well.  I could not afford an attorney because everything I had was given to them and lost to them.  But they will get theirs, I promise you SafeLoadMovingand Rip off people.  You just see.  You cannot do things like that to people.  I lost my husband before the move and you lost what we built together.  God have mercy on all of you!

  11. Extreme Dissatisfaction.

The main number didn't communicte my contact/location info to the driver causing the driver to arrive late and with a truck already loaded of someone else's belongings. As a result they loaded my stuff into a uhaul and put it into storage for "2 days".  They failed to communicate with me and I had to make repeated calls to them to find out where my stuff was.  They kept promising different dates when my stuff would be picked up and arrive.  When it finally arrived the driver never helped unload and hired people off craigslist and only paid them $25 each to unload (more than 4 hrs).  Many boxes were damaged and I filed damage claim and complaint with the Better Business Bureau which the moving company refused to respond to.  Regional manager of my area was deceptive and rufused requests for contact info of main office.  Will NEVER USE THIS COMPANY OR RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE!!

  12. Safe Load Moving and Storage/Safe Relocations.

SAFE LOAD MOVING AND STORAGE is also known as SAFE RELOCATIONS.

THEY ARE BASED OUT OF LAS VEGAS AS THEIR HEADQUARTERS

    DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

THEY ARE A CROSS STATE GROUP OF FOREIGN SCAMMERS WHO HAVE A NETWORK THAT WORK TOGETHER TO RIP OFF CUSTOMERS.

THE FIRST TIP OF A SCAM IS A LOW PRICE. SAFE RELOCATIONS OFFERED THE BEST PRICES OF 3 BIDS FOR A MOVE FROM UTAH TO CALIFORNIA. STUPIDLY WE WENT FOR THE LOWEST PRICE. THE NIGHTMARE THEN BEGINS.

ONCE THEY ARRIVE AT YOUR HOME YOU ARE "GREETED" BY A VERY LOUD, AGRESSIVE AND OBNOXIOUS COMPANY OWNER BY THE NAME OF BOBIL (BOB FOR SHORT).

I NEVER LOSE MY TEMPER WITH A STRANGER UNLESS GROSSLY PROVOKED. MY HUSBAND AND I WERE LITERALLY YELLING AT BOBIL AT THE TOP OF OUR LUNGS DUE TO HIS TOTAL LACK OF COMPETENCE TO MOVE ITEMS.

IF YOU CAN AFFORD THE TIME TO MOVE AT A LATER DATE TELL THESE PEOPLE TO LEAVE ONCE THEY ARRIVE AT YOUR HOME. WE DID NOT HAVE THIS OPTION AS WE WERE IN A VERY REMOTE LOCATION AND NEEDED TO LEAVE ON A VERY SPECIFIC DATE.

BOBIL SPENT MORE TIME ON THE PHONE YELLING IN HEBREW AT HIS COLLEAGUES IN THE BUSINESS THAN TAKING CARE OF THE TASK OF MOVING MERCHANDISE INTO THE MOVING VAN.

THEN THE SECOND PART OF THE SCAM BEGINS.

HE WILL SAY THEY HAVE GROSSLY UNDERESTIMATED THE "WEIGHT" OF YOUR BELONGINGS. IN OUR CASE WE SENT THEM A HIGHLY DETAILED LIST OF GOODS. THE WEIGHT THEY HAD ORIGINALLY QUOTED WAS FINE SO NOW YOU NEED TO NEGOTIATE VERY AGGRESSIVELY WITH BOBIL TO LOWER THE WEIGHT.

BOBIL IS A SKILLED AND SEASONED SCAM ARTIST. HE IS A TOTAL DISGUSTING PRO WHO HAS TAKEN HIS FOREIGN SCAMMING SKILLS TO OUR SHORES IN THE USA.

IN THE END, AFTER EXHAUSTING NEGOTIATIONS (I AM AS MEAN AND STRONG WILLED AS BOBIL) WE WENT FROM AN ORIGINAL QUOTE OF $1500 TO ~$3000.

WE NOW HAVE LEFT UTAH AND ARE BACK HOME IN CALIFORNIA WHEN THE THIRD STEP OF THE SCAM TAKES PLACE.

THEY ARRIVE AT THE OFF LOADING POINT IN CAMPBELL, CALIFORNIA AND DEMAND ANOTHER $900 TO COMPLETE THE MOVE. EITHER YOU PAY OR THEY WILL STEAL YOUR GOODS, STORE THEM AND NEVER ANSWER THEIR PHONES TO TELL YOU WHERE YOUR GOODS ARE STORED.

THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED TO US.

IT TOOK CALLING THE CAMPBELL POLICE DEPARTMENT TO GET THE WIFE OF BOBIL (ANAT) TO RESPOND AND NEGOTIATE A DEAL.

THEY HAD STORED OUR BELONGING SWITH ANOTHER "LEG" OF THEIR SCAMMING NETWORK IN SAN JOSE, CALIFORNIA (SM& S RELOCATIONS) .

DO NOT EVERY USE THEM EITHER!! THEY ARE ALL IN THIS FOREIGN BORN SCAMMING NETWORK AS AN INTERSTATE TEAM.

WE FINALLY HAD OUR GOODS IN VIEW. SM&S RELOCATIONS WOULD NOT EVEN ALLOW US TO ENTER THEIR MOVING VAN TO SEE IF OUR MERCHANDISE WAS FULLY ACCOUNTED FOR AND IN GOOD SHAPE. THIS IS ANOTHER TIP THAT A COMPANY IS A SCAM.

THE NEXT TIP OF A SCAM IS THAT THEY WILL NOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS AT THE FINAL DROP - OFF. STARVING STUDENTS ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS THRU-OUT THE ENTIRE MOVING EXPERIENCE.

SAFE RELOCATIONS AND SM&S RELOCATIONS ONLY WILL ACCEPT MONEY ORDER OR CASH. BIG CLUE OF A LOW GRADE MOVING COMPANY I LEARNED.

WE HAD NUMEROURS ITEMS MISSING WHICH WERE NOTED IN THE PAPERWORK. WE HAD TO LITERALLY RAISE OUR VOICES AND INSIST THE DRIVER SIGN THE MISSING ITEM LISTS AND TO GET A COPY OF IT. HE WAS GOING TO DO NEITHER. ANOTHER TIP OFF OF A SCAM.

FINALLY, I FILED A CLAIM WITH THEIR INSURANCE COMPANY AS THEY WILL NEVER PICK UP THE PHONE OR RESPOND TO AN E-MAIL.

TURNS OUT THE INSURANCE IS ALL CRAP. THEY WILL NOT COVER LOST OR MISSING ITEMS. THEY WILL ONLY COVER MERCHANDISE RELATED LOSSES DUE TO AN ACCIDENT WITH THE TRUCK, A FIRE OR AN OVERTURNED TRUCK.

SO, IN THE END WE LOST MANY ITEMS AND ENDED UP PAYING THE SAME PRICE WE WOULD HAVE PAID FROM OTHER MOVERS THAT DID NOT LOW BALL UP FRONT.

    HUGH LESSON LEARNED!
     .

  13. Do Not Use This Company.

    Let me tell you why.
When I spoke to them they told me that it would take 3-5 business days. On day day 14 we received a shipment missing 39 items from inventory, including bedframes, furniture pieces, and boxes. The demanded payment in full of this partial shipment, threatening to hold items in storage at our expense. It took another 22 days to get another truck available to deliver the remaining shipment. No notices, not phone calls, just "we don't have a truck."
SafeLoad apparently has their own fleet of a whopping 1 truck. The boxes were crushed, and the only reason anything survived was because we packed it so well. They refuse to talk to me, and because the shipment was delayed so long we had to purchase multiple household, clothing, and food items. They will not respond to any phone calls or emails. Do not put up with this!!

I told myself that every moving company was bound to have some bad reviews..I didn't listen to the ones on Safe Load/Safe Relocation. PLEASE LISTEN to me. They are true, this company has no business doing business. PICK SOMEONE ELSE for your move.

  14. Liars.

First they doubled our moving quote after arriving after 5pm.  Second, we were told by the rep and the so called owner of the company that we would be charged $135 a month to store our things in Vegas.  They call and say, no, it is $400.00 a month and it says so right in the contract.  That is BS.  They insisted on the other price and when my wife asked for them to write it down we get the contract without the storage quote. They deserve nothing less than a Class Action and will look foward to filing a small claims with the LV Superior Court to hold them to their damed lies!

  15. Run Away.

It was our first move ever using a moving company, and I did as much research as possible.  When I called the company initially I asked if they could come do a visual estimate, because I had a couple of other companies do the same.  Matt guaranteed me there was no need - they will just give a price based off of the estimates from the other companies.  I called a few days later to confirm a delivery date with Brian (I think) and told him I don't care what date they pick up my items as long as they are there by June 3rd.  He said he will schedule it for April 23rd and that way it will "FOR SURE be there by June 3rd.  I guarantee it."
Apparently, this company has a very nasty habit of verbally guaranteeing things and then later hiding behind contracts and paperwork.
April 23rd came, and the movers said we would have to pay an extra 1900 because they estimated wrong.  After letting them know that we were very disappointed and that it put our family in a very tight spot, the man kept pushing and pushing, and in such a short time frame we really had no choice but to pay them the extra money.  I called the company and all they said was "Well, estimates are not binding and they're just estimates."  I told them "However, when I asked you to come do a visual estimate, you refused."  They said nothing.  Mind you, my boyfriend, who is financing this whole thing is out of state working so I am by myself with our toddler, and I think he figured he would take full advantage of the fact that I was so naive when it came to moving.  I asked the man in charge that day "So my things will be there on June 3rd right?"  Twice he reassured me "June 3rd, yes.  No problem.  I guarantee it.  You have my word!"
June 3rd comes along, and we waited until about 3 PM before we called the company and they told us they would have the driver call us.  The driver calls and says, "I'll be there in 3 or 4 days because I am in Dallas right now."  Excuse me?  I call the company back fuming, and all they said was, "Well, our contract says that we have a 2-3 week turn around time, and if you wanted a guaranteed delivery date you should have paid the $30."  When I asked her what she was talking about, the lady says, "Our company has a fee of $30 that we charge to guarantee your goods to be delivered on a specific date."  I told her that nobody made my aware of a fee when I made the reservation MONTHS ago, and nobody on the day of the move asked if I had paid it or even so much as brought up a fee when I specifically told them that I would need my things ON June 3rd. They should have either told me about the fee or scheduled the pick up date sooner when I made the reservation.. MONTHS ago.  She just hung up.
I had to send our son with his grandparents because we didn't have anything for him to sleep on or anything else for that matter!!  I told my boyfriend, who called the next day and got nowhere.  Mind you, most of the people in "dispatch" don't speak English, they interrupt you at any chance they get, and they talk over you.  I tried to get the matter solved, because I feel as if fair is fair, and for us to pay an extra 1900 for them to be 4 days late is ridiculous.  We got a call back the day before the movers got to the house and the "owner" (I guess) said "Um, the truck broke down."  How f** convenient, right?  Right.  [EDIT], in my opinion.  Took you two days to come up with that excuse.  Not only are we out the 1900 for the company, but now we had to go buy other household items to live until the movers got there because we had no stuff.
Anyway.  June 6th at around 6 PM, the guys come, and one of the guys shoves the papers towards me and says, "Sign here."  It was a paper saying that they had delivered all of the goods and that they were in good condition.  I told him I can't sign that because nothing is off of the truck.  He told me if I didn't sign it, they can't unload the truck.  THEN he tells me I have to pay the rest of the 1900 before they start.  It didn't make sense, but I was so exasperated I signed it and paid the money.  They were SUPPOSED to assemble the beds and couch, and unwrap the furniture.  They assembled the bottom part and arranged both beds so the headboards only LOOKED like they were assembled.  They forgot to unwrap a whole dresser.  They didn't bother to assemble the couch at all.  AND they threw all the paper on the floor - didn't even bother to ask where a trash can was.
As I was unpacking, I came to realize that we were missing not only a significant amount of our pots and pans, and other kitchen items, but some of our stuff was placed into different boxes and moved around.  We are also now missing a lot of expensive electronics like our cable modem and router and things like that.  I filed a complaint with the BBB and DOT a week ago - they have not responded.  They made an already stressful and terrifying experience even worse.  I will NEVER use any moving company ever again because of them.
