  1. Safe Cube Moving.

    I moved a little over a week ago from Ithaca, NY to Punta Gorda, Florida. From the beginning to the end of my move,Eric and the crew of movers were FANTASTIC! They all took an extremely stressful situation and turned it into an easy transition.. And the price was so reasonable. Their contact people from Eric, the scheduler and the drivers was great. All in all I recommend them highly! A+!

  2. Move from CT to FL.

    Everything was as quoted they did an amazing job packaging and packing our stuff and everything got delivered in exactly 1 week for the quote price. I would recomend.

  3. Worst Experience Ever.

    "CAUTION - don't be fooled by their timely and detailed responses during the quoting / inquiry stage. Safecube is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with !! Their performance was careless, negligent and they breeched our contract by not assembling things they took apart. Very uncooperative and unsupportive after our move when we discovered many "lost" items from our shipment. They were more concerned with the negative review my girlfriend left and were actually angered and offended by it instead of focusing on finding our things. Overall very very poor customer service and customer relations. Any company can have problems or issues but a company defines itself by the manner in which they respond to these problems and issues. In the case of Safecube they indeed defined their selves as caring more about a negative review than resolving problems. To make matters even worse, they didn't want to speak or deal with me at all because the contract we had was in my girlfriend's name even though my residence and address were listed separately in the contract as one of two pick up locations. The other location being my girlfriends house.

    Here is a very condensed list of our issues :

    - Brought items into our home that weren't ours which we immediately highlighted

    - Lost : a large overstuffed chair, a shop vac, a step ladder, my girlfriends golf clubs, air cleaner and bag for our lawnmower, the rear wheel on my girlfriends bike and other misc items

    - Someone went thru my golf bag and took a bag that had ~$20 dollars of change and small bills

    - Removed the wheels from our bikes after they were loaded on to the truck intact. Damaged the front wheel to my bike, lost the rear wheel to my girlfriend's bike

    Yes we bought insurance at a significant cost in anticipation of guarding against some catastrophic event. Never expecting it would be needed for the very careless and shoddy performance we received. We suffered a considerable loss on this move.

  4. Moved from FL to PA.

    The price we received was substantially lower than any other company I spoke to so I was a bit hesitant to go with them. I'm so glad I did. The customer service was great and the movers at pick up and drop off were so kind and helpful. They really gave me such peace of mind. I highly recommend them and would definitely use them again.

  5. Worst Experience Ever!!

    We have moved 5 times in 25 years. This was our first time hiring professional movers and from the start it was a FIASCO!! When they FINALLY showed AFTER NOON on the 2nd pick up day, they showed with ONE SINGLE GUY, JUST ONE!! It took me hours to round up help for him, cost me an additional$882 out of pocket for that help and an additional Uhaul. Hiring professionals was supposed to make this move easier, less stressful, instead it was much much more stressful, VERY EXPENSIVE, and they still act like they did me a favor. If you want it done right, hire any other company and I can assure you it can't go worse!! Share this review with everyone you care about.

  6. Great service.

    The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The truck broke down on delivery day, but we were kept informed and the situation was resolved. All furniture was delivered in the condition it left in, and the movers did an excellent job packing and unpacking. They were more than helpful putting furniture together and packing it up. Considering what a physical and tough job they do, the guys on the truck did everything with a smile, and made the whole process enjoyable. Eric, my main contact, was very patient with my (frequent) texts, calls and questions!

  7. Wonderful moving experience. Highly recommended!

    Although I had more than a month to prepare for the move, I must admit that I was just a mess. I kept walking around in circles every night not knowing what to deal with first. I was scrambling that morning.

    In Boston, the Safe Cube Moving team - Jan, Chris, Pedro, and Robert- were great. Throughout the entire move they continued to make me feel at ease. Not everything was boxed up and I was apologizing and over-stressing and scrambling around to get things in boxes and apologizing profusely, Jan repeatedly told me, “it’s okay – you have enough to worry about with moving, that’s what we are here for, just relax and breathe”. etc. It was so reassuring!

    When the delivery crew arrived at the new house in Long Island – they were very patient. Some boxes/furniture were going to the basement and some to the first floor and of course in my mad scramble I only had about ½ of the boxes labeled where they needed to go. As the day wore on they continued to be in good spirits and really were very professional and nice. They did not sit for one minute from the time they arrived until the time they were finished.

    I just wanted to let you know how valuable the team of movers you have are. They were hard working, friendly, kind, and did not complain once! They were really amazing and professional.

  8. Lost Items, Terrible Customer Service After Move.

    I was very impressed initially with SafeCube as the customer service rep was very responsive and detailed. The movers were late from the time of pick up initially stated, but then they did do an excellent job packing up and moving the goods into the moving van.

    Upon arrival, some of the furniture had scratches on it. Nothing major, but there were some marks on things and also some boxes looked like they were "beat up" much more than they should have been for solid good boxes. Also, my delivery was to have been on one truck from the time it was packed to the time of delivery, but they arrived in two trucks.

    Upon delivery, they brought in items that were NOT my items which I notified them about, and then there were about 6 items missing. Two of the larger items was a LARGE oversized living room chair as well as my golf clubs, then other misc. items totaling several thousand dollars. It has been almost 2 weeks since my goods were delivered, and I have received VERY little detail from SafeCube regarding their actions they are taking to find my goods, as well as details of my shipment (dates in transit, location of the warehouse my goods were at, if other customers with delivery the same day in the general area were contacted to see if they possibly had my goods, what their root cause investigation is etc). They have been prompt in responding, but I feel there is little or no concern on their part about my items being missing, some which are of sentimental value.

    Also, I highly suggest to take pictures of ALL items you pack in your boxes as I suspect some misc. items "went missing". I also would ensure upon delivery you take the time to mark down every single box and item that is delivered. They brought in material so quickly it was difficult to track and we did not realize things were missing until later that day other than the larger items. Their tracking system is poor as they have VERY SMALL stickers to mark which goods are your items, and they do not have bar coding scanning technology.

    I WOULD NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY EVER AGAIN. I AM INCREDIBLY DISAPPOINTED IN THEIR SERVICE AFTER THE DELIVERY AND THE MISSING ITEMS.

  9. Worst experience EVER.

    I am writing this as I am stuck in the state I am trying to move out of. This company is by the far worst I have ever dealt with and I have moved several times over the last few years. I had requested a same day pickup and same day delivery just to receive a call saying my furniture wouldn't be picked up until 8pm and that it wouldn't be delivered until next day. I asked to speak to a manager and at this point I expressed my frustration. The manager then started to tell me I was rude, had an attitude problem, and clearly couldn't read a contract. (My contract said in capital, highlighted, and bold letters SAME DAY PICKUP SAME DAY DELIVERY). After I realized my conversation was going no where with this, I asked to speak to someone else. I was then told it was a Jewish company , since it was a Saturday there was no one else to talk to and good luck. I then reached out to the sales rep I dealt with , luckily I kept his number, in which he said he was going to see what was going on. 8pm came around, no movers. (This was after we were ignored by dispatch calling numerous times). We called the sales rep again in which he said we would hear back shortly from dispatch. He then calls me back stating the movers weren't coming and we would possibly see them between 9-11am the next morning. Needless to say we had to cancel last minute and left me stranded. I HIGHLY recommend against ever hiring this company. There website states professionalism and customer service, this is a joke. I was going to spend a chunk of my hard earned money to use this company and I got left with extra cost because no movers showed.

  10. Honest! Transparent! Accommodating!

    If you are looking for an honest, transparent, accommodating company to help you with your move..choose Safe Cube!! These guys are the real deal. They don’t pressure you to go with them. They don’t bad talk other movers/transporters. They just focus on the help and services they provide. Eric was my moving assistant from start to finish. He was always available to answer questions I had. I could reach him via call, text or email! He was so friendly and understanding whenever I needed to adjust the number of items I was moving (from Charlotte, NC to Atlanta, GA). I truly have nothing bad to say about this company. They are the best!! Go with Safe Cube :).

    We just completed a move from NYC to Miami, and everyone at Safe Cube Moving was terrific. I’m a stickler for detail and asked so many questions by email and phone, and every one was answered promptly and thoroughly by Eric.

    We were on a tight schedule, and they kept to it precisely. The three-man team of movers arrived early at the New York apartment, packed things carefully (including careful wrapping of furniture and electronics), and moved quickly. They were all wonderful, so professional and careful with our things. David was so easy-going and reassuring. We had a few tricky items, and everything was handled wonderfully.

    They arrived in Miami exactly when they said they would, and they stayed in touch with us throughout the move. My items arrived in perfect condition. Lots of glass, lots of books and lots of records (LPs), videos, cds and cassette tapes, lots of stuff! most of it very delicate. The move was flawless.

    The final price came in under the estimate. This was stellar service.

    We were delighted with Safe Cube Moving, and we highly recommend them!

  12. Move from Florida to Massachusetts.

    Thank you for the professional manner in which you handled this move. Starting with the sale person, Eric, to the estimator and the moving crews. All individuals were respectful and punctual and always providing me with a clear and concise explanation for any of my questions or concerns. The company always provided me with constant updates on this interstate move and really eased my concerns.

  13. I couldn't believe how careless they were.

    Rude staff, scratched my furniture and the guy stood in my doorway with his hand out expecting a bigger tip than what I (reasonably) gave him.

  14. If I could give 0 stars I would.

    I selected SafeCube Moving based on other Mymovingreviews reviews. All of my boxes and containers were packed and ready, and I rented furniture pads to protect all of the furniture. I asked the movers to wrap all of my furniture in the pads and they said they would do that outside just before loading the items into the truck. I had to remain in my apartment during the loading process and could not observe what was happening at the truck. When the loading process was completed and the movers left, I opened my rental truck to find that the movers did not wrap any of my furniture. They also placed my flat screen TV on its side edge and let it lean against the inside of the rolling truck door. I didn’t have time to call the company to get the movers to return because I had a deadline for my road trip and had to get going. I made a few adjustments in the truck to better secure items and went on my way. As my belongings were unloaded at my destination, the poor packing job became more obvious. Many of the lightweight boxes were damaged by heavier boxes placed on top, items shifted significantly during the ride due to lack of snug loading, and every single piece of furniture obtained scratches. Even the movers helping at my destination complained about the bad job done packing the truck. I have moved across the State three other times and never had a bad experience like this. I expected SafeCube Moving to be experts in handling my belongings and packing the truck. After unloading all of my items, I called SafeCube Moving. I left a message with the person who answered the office phone and asked for a manager to contact me. I made a total of three calls to SafeCube Moving and received only one call back from a manager. Unfortunately, I missed the call when it came in and had left a return message. I never spoke directly to a manager. I do not expect to receive any refund related to this service, but I do expect to talk to a manager to relay my dissatisfaction and explain how things went wrong. A business needs to hear this information in order to make improvements. I am disappointed that the management of SafeCube Moving did does not take my calls seriously, and I do not recommend using them for a move or loading job. If one crew performs poorly and the management is not motivated to improve that performance, you can’t trust any of the crews will do well. Find a different moving company.
    UPDATE: After the company manager saw my review, he contacted me to report that he did receive my messages and apologized for the problem I had with my move.

  15. Booking was easy but unenthused.

    I do not like to give negative reviews, however, after my experience, I feel obligated to warn others not to use this service. I've moved numerous times in the last 10 years, and this was by far my worst experience.

    First, when I booked my move date, they sent the movers a MONTH early to my address even though the paperwork clearly stated March and not February. That should have been the first red flag.

    Secondly, the movers themselves were completely unprofessional. They were supposed to come between 1-4pm. I called at 1:30 when I had not heard from them, and the dispatch said they just finished a job. I got in touch with the driver and he said he would be there in 20 minutes, however, they did not show up for another hour, citing traffic (this seems to be a typical excuse for them). When they got to my building, they hit the building with their truck while backing into the loading dock - which thankfully I will not be charged for. When they did move my belongings, they did so with little care. At the end of the move, I ended up with (1) cosmetic damage to my dresser, which they claimed was ""there before I moved"" and (2) A broken drawer to an expensive desk. When I pointed out the damage to my desk, the at first completely refused to acknowledge it and told me it was like that before. However, I witnessed them turn the desk upside down and watched two of my drawers fall out. I finally had to get on the phone with their supervisor to have it acknowledged. Now that I have unpacked, I have also found a broken picture frame and a broken vase (both which was wrapped in three layers of bubble wrap and in a box marked ""fragile"").

    Also, while moving the furniture into my apartment, the movers had a terrible attitude and were combative and dismissive about where I told them to place the bigger objects. By the end of the experience, I was almost in tears.

    I will say they were fairly quick with the move, however, they prioritized speed over care with my belongings.

    Overall these movers were completely unprofessional. As someone who has moved many times (including a 400+ mile move), I can say with some certainty that you should avoid these movers at all costs.
