Appliance removal
With a family reunion soon approaching and the old house still in disrepair, I needed a way to move all of the old furniture out and into the new home. Fast. I perused the web and found Sampson’s power movers. They arrived much quicker than agreed (which worked in my favor), professional demeanor, and not to mention quality accommodation.

STOP STOP BUYER BEWARE We spoke with Mariah on 11/29/21 who took the information of the house being sold and no lights in the home the reasoning for needing them in the am and the inventory they scheduled us for 8-10 am 12/04/21 they called at 11 to say the truck had broken down they had staff issues people did not show up for work and I suggested to reschedule or for Sunday in the am or cancel and they called 4 more times throughout day stating they were on their way eventually at 615pm they showed with movers who were teenagers and 1 child with a trailer not a moving truck and it started to rain to move a California bed set . They quoted me 99 trip fee and 99 1st and 100 each additional hour my storage was 23 min from my home so and we had also dismount all tv and took all the beds apart so all the kids that they sent would have to do is load and move it they started slow the first hour loaded half of my stuff called me and advised me it was now going to be 2 more hours and then again another 2 hours if I did not have the money they were not going to release my stuff all in all what should have taken 2 hours became from 615pm at night to 11pm and a total of 657.00 furniture and chairs and other items were left wholes in my walls were made and my California bed set now has mass scratch and scrape damage due to them sending teenagers and children to do men’s jobs. I requested information on how they were going to help me as their customer who just paid all of monies requested because they wouldn't release my stuff if I didn't pay and all they sent me was a form from Texas Department of Motor Vehicles Know your MOVING RIGHTS and Responsibilities and told me the truck was full and it was dark and the remainder of my things are still in the house. If this is how they do business they are not good for you or anyone else DO NOT do what I did STOP BUYER BEWARE Take their advice and ALWAYS check Texas Department of Motor Vehicles Know your MOVING RIGHTS and Responsibilities to make sure your MOVING company is a GOOD company to it’s Customers!

You should hire Samson Power Movers.
I looked around the WWW for movers. About six places floated to the top based on reviews and I requested quotes.
Derrick was the first to respond and his quote was the least expensive of the bunch.
A crew of five / six packed everything up, loaded the truck, drove to the storage facility, and played some awesome 3-D Tetris in the storage unit. Start-to-finish in a little over an hour.
Highly recommended... I plan to get in touch with them when the pandemic ends.
Moving Services
I highly recommend these guys (Sevon, Ike, Derrick). They were so efficient, professional, friendly and helpful. They wrapped all our stuff so nothing would get damaged. They even disassembled our beds and reassembled them which takes out a lot of stress of moving. They were kind enough to take down our tv wall mount too when we didn't have a drill. They took their time to help set up our bedrooms too which I didn't expect. They made what should have been a stressful day very smooth. Would 100% use them in the future. Their price is very reasonable too compared to most.
Breaking my stuff
They dropped and broke my tv, and when I sent him the pictures he requested, he gave me lip service. He never assumed responsibility for it.

On March 20, 2021, we hired this moving service to unload a Uhaul and assist with removing some items from our home. During the unloading process the movers were arguing among themselves about how the move was going, resulting in two bedroom furniture items (purchased May 2020 that had never been moved before) becoming damaged.
The movers were on the stairs debating about how to get the dresser upstairs. The mover at the top was asking the mover that the bottom to lift higher, mover at the bottom stated he was, mover at the top didn’t believe him so to make a point the mover that the bottom literally let go of the dresser and allowed it to clunk down onto the stairs. There were multiple witnesses within my family/household who personally saw this incident. The dresser slide mechanisms are damaged, the drawers no longer open smoothly – force is now required to be exerted and there is a scrubbing sound.
Movers admitted dropping the footboard; the footboard is cracked and has visible damage to the structural integrity.
Damage claim is pending, but response from company upon initial contact did not leave me with an optimistic feeling.

I always had a bad experience with moving company, but I can't get it done without them, so I had no choice.
I looked into this company's review and decided to book a job.
They did an awesome job!!! My family and I were very pleased with the quality we received from this company.
I recommend this moving company to everyone I know and sure will use them again in the future.

Never Use Samson Rip Off.
Samson moved two large recliners . They were in perfect condition when they left , but were badly damaged when delivered . They charged double of what was originally quoted . They wouldn't unload until paid . When I noticed the damage the owner of the company wouldn't answer the phone or emails . I'm stuck with junk furniture and out of a lot of money . Avoid Samson at all cost. It is a rip off company .

I am providing a review of my experience with Samson Power Movers in July 2019
In summary, the experience was horrific.
· Actual price was 3 times the original quote was (2.5 hours for $376.00 vs. 9 hours for $1,140.00) from a 1 bedroom studio to a 2 bedroom flat
· Inexperienced, unprepared and unprofessional (extremely rude) staff
o Seventeen (17) year old lead mover admitted not having a driver license nor had he done a residential move
o Crew did not have tools as simple as an allen wrench
o Lead mover was continuously on the phone, while supposedly on the clock (my time)
· Several obvious lies
o Requested a truck however, a trailer arrived
o Stated you were sending a crew from your Spring location however, the trailer and crew came from Clear Lake
o Verbally stated that the move quote included breakdown of furniture (ex: bed, dining room)
· Broke my clothes dryer
· Damaged my bedroom set and entertainment center
I called the owner, Mr. Samson, several times but with no resolution or real results.
