Silverback Moving did it!
Silverback Moving performed better than any mover we had experienced in the past. We had received their information from a neighbor who had a good experience. Silverback Moving gave us a firm estimate as to what we should anticipate to pay. Furthermore they took a detailed log as to what we had to move so their staff would be well informed. The day of the move all went according to plan. All things that were said would be done were done. I greatly appreciate the hard work from Silverback Moving!!
Exceptional - Silverback Moving.
Silverback Moving provides us with exceptional service. We needed a 2 bed taken from Sedona, AZ to our home in Bloomfield, MI. Silverback Moving did everything promised and more. They flew out a team of three men, loaded two trucks full and made the long journey back to Michigan. The loading nor the driving was my family willing to do.
All around the move was simplified with the help of Silverback Moving. I would use this company anytime needed. I would recommend Silverback Moving to anyone in need of moving or trucking services.

Silverback Moving handled my parents move down to Lancaster and I could not be more grateful. My parents were nervous with the big change, but Silverback Moving gave them assurance that the job would go well and they would not have to lift a finger. This good help made my week a heck of a lot easier. After the move was done by Silverback Moving, the move was literally done. We did a little bit of unpacking to do, but aside from that they were good to start their regular life routine the following day. Silverback Moving made that possible and for that I am grateful. The movers were nice guys as well which helped.

Silverback Moving did a fine job for my family this past July. We called Silverback Moving in a pinch after another local mover canceled on us last minute! The men from Silverback Moving were more like supermen. They saved the day.
Sam and Roger came out to the home in good spirits and ready to go. The good attitude went a long way. Throughout the entire day the guys were a huge help and did exactly as the office promised.
Huge relief having good help to assist with the move. Silverback Moving gets 5 stars from me.
AVOID - So much property damage.
Silverback Moving did well over $10,000 in damage to our property, and has not responded to our claim of damages; screening phone calls and ignoring emails for 30+ days.
Schea Van Lines managed our move from Columbus to Cleveland; however, Silverback Moving showed up to execute the move. During the move, the staff ran out of shrink wrap, and could only cover our furniture with blankets. They promised to fully wrap everything when it went into storage. This did not happen. Upon arrival to our new home, pieces came off the truck unwrapped, chipped, broken and damaged beyond repair.
The boxes packed in the truck were dropped and handled in a less than professional manner; based on the significant dents, collapses and tears in the cardboard. This is beyond the damage consistent with normal handling. Upon opening the boxes, the damage to our property continued.
The added pleasure has been the discovery of multiple cockroaches in our belongings.
The worst personal violation was finding that our property had been rummaged through. We found items from latched bins scattered about the truck, purses and personal property turned inside out and searched and jewelry boxes had been ripped apart. The appearance of the truck, and the treatment of our property is nothing short of negligence.
Since our move, we have filed a claim for damages with Silverback Moving, and the owner Cam Schea. To date, we have had no response from the company in any form. They have screened our calls and emails go unanswered. I have escalated this case with the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio and will pursue legal action if necessary.
Ripoffs.
Wouldn't let me give them no stars or I would have.. Gave a low ball price which then almost tripled.. Not only did they damage our stuff and a month later still haven't been compensated for it also had our check book stolen and drain our account.. Talked to much on their phones. CROOKS!! Wouldn't hire them to move a dog house.. Also wanted paid in full before they would finish unloading everything at new house..
Horrible Movers.
This company broke many items including my 55" television. They parked on my front lawn and left foot and a half ruts 6 feet long. The owner refused any reimbursement.
You don't have to believe me. However, check their rating with the Better Business Bureau (F) before you hire them.
Our Move.
Movers are nice and pretty good with the care of furnishings when moved. Move was timely. However the Owner is unethical in his invoicing, as the invoice presented that gives a false impression of what is the real final cost. When the final invoice was presented with the amount due, I paid in full, however he made a unauthorized credit charge immediately following for another ~$700! He was unapologetic, arrogant and unprofessional in attempting to address this issue. I would not recommend Shea Moving at all as the pricing and invoicing is misleading and unethical.
Silverback Moving and Storage.
Silverback Moving and Storage certainly came to the rescue when we were in need of storage and packing supplies. We were beyond happy with what they had done to make our move more efficient and smooth. We were referred to them by a coworker at my wife's office.
The storage was climate controlled and all pieces were stored with proper protection. The staff were exceptionally friendly and kind. The overall price for the storage was more than fair. I was thrilled with the service Silverback Moving provided.
Thanks again Silverback Moving and Storage. I too will refer friends and family to your service. Next time we will use your labor services as well.

We had used Silverback Moving and storage for their storage program between homes. I was very pleased with their standard of organization and attention to detail at their facility. It was climate controlled as promised and the pieces were properly stored with protective dressings.
We were quoted needing 4 vaults at $49 per month. We ended up needing 5 vaults. After visiting the facility, I could see that we could not do with less and I completely understood the difference.
Although it was labor intensive for Silverback Moving's staff to decrate our furniture each time we needing something, they were happy to do so free of charge. I simply made a call and I was able to consider it done.
Excellent organization and honesty is hard to find with many contractors. Very glad Silverback Moving and Storage delivered. Thanks again!

Silverback Moving did a great job recently when partnering on my move that I needed done from a one bedroom from Troy to Royal Oak. The men were kind, prompt, and paid attention to nearly every detail. All was disassembled by the crew at my former home in Troy, then reassembled properly once arriving in Royal Oak. I couldn't be more happy with Silverback Moving. We will use again.

Do not use this company.
I got several estimates from different companies and this was in the average range, thought it is a company can use. The move estimated for one day between 1200 to 1700 and 8-12 hour So I was expect one day and in these range. But things go to different direction, the first day run 7 hours may be 1/3 moved and not night cloth box and needed thing goes to gather, and I have to pay 1100+ plus tip, I do not have sleeping and change cloth in new place but all mattresses moved, can no take shower, no towel find, and one bed missing part can not assembly. They demand the tip above certain amount or will not come next day, and next day no one come, I have to call to get someone come in the afternoon, second day run long hour till middle night and had problem can not delivery last load, and third day (my work day) had to wait truck coming with different crew. The manager ask to pay 1600+ for second day before my furniture can unload. That will start the clock for third day with unknown hours, estimate was 4.5 hours. That could put the total charge to 3200+. Do you expect the cost beyond estimated that much. And that is cash price. If you paid credit rad 5% more plus tip. Do you have cash on hand at that time double the max estimate? When I questioned the manager, how the cost be come that high. I need explaination, since I moved several year ago from this house ( just move back) by other company with extra sofa set for basement that I sold before this move, in one day one load. So I know it can be done in one day one load. Other company estimated Same. Now I am in the third day with delivery furniture unassembled, boxes all in one place unsorted. But I was asked to pay before they can unload. When my wife did not agree and asked me to get police to present, they drove away my furniture. Later texted me to their office to pay first. The latest text I got was they will starting charge me storage fee. They took my furniture without my agree and want to start charge storage fee. Do you want to use such company that would not give you a earnest estimate and keep adding price and if you want to question, they will take your furniture to force you pay in order to get your stuff?
