Criminal
They will destroy most of your belongings, as they did mine, then hire a lawyer to keep all the profit and compensate their destruction zero. It was a nightmare and I believe criminal offense. Run far away from this destructive “company.”

Smart move USA helped us on short notice when our closing date changed and we lost our other movers.
Jeff and Russell came to our house and gave us the estimate. On moving day they were there when they said they would be but then there was another delay. Not our or their fault. We ended up leaving the last load of our belongings in their truck in our new drive way overnight and they had to finish the next day. They were patient, kind, and efficient. There was nothing damaged, they help set up the washer and dryer. They did not charge us because of the delay.
I would highly recommend this company.
Large Commercial Move.
We hired Smart Move USA LLC to provide unloading services for student furnished apartment projects.
They worked for us for approximatly three months.
I was responsible for coordinating their work.
Their performance deterioated greatly over the time they worked for us. The owner, Jeff, was frequently addled to the point of being unable to work. He showed up for work ,most days, last. He was unusually forgetful. He allowed his staff to drive my van on the weekends,traveling 700 miles, without my permission.His employees took the van and disapeared for over eight days,and Smart Move did not report it. We retrieved the van, filthy and in undriveable condition on our own, without their help. Jeff told me he could not understand how it was his responsibility to look after equipment provided to him for use,nor could he understand why we held him accountable for his direct reports performance, but he collected supervisor pay for his work. He dis- regarded specific instructions,resulting in costly extra re- work by others,as well as charging the company for un authorized workers to perform his work duties for him.We experienced more damage and breakage issues with this firm than any other firm we worked with. Site staff complained that he appeared to be inebriated. He submitted frequent claims of non receipt of payments,and in each case he had already received the payment. He had severe difficulity submitting payroll reports,expense reports,and accurate invoices. He charged the company for more fuel than the mileage could justify, by thousands of dollars.Overall, our experiences with him were bad,but he got measurably worse over time. Our customers and staff began to complain about his non performance and absent mindnesses. He and his son still do local moving in the Charlotte NC area. I would be very wary of doing any busines with this firm.
