Recent move from Shasta Lake, California to Florida.
Received our goods yesterday and just started to unpack. So far it appears that they took packed boxes and in order to consolidate the re-packers at United jammed tools and paint stuff willy nilly into good clothing wardrobes crushing them and wrinkling nearly everything! Other boxes were consolidated with no rhyme or reason crushing smaller plastic containers with meds and fragile bottles breaking or bending a lot of items. We have moved more than 20 times in the past and never experienced anything like this! The unloaders at our Florida end were totally professional, worked quickly and finished in terrific time, a credit to their profession. The Chico group did a lousy job by jamming items without regard to any sense of what should or could go with what. Would never recommend them for pick up in Northern California!

Salesman and operations staff horrible.
I contracted Sorenson to pack my entire home, and another company to move the items packed. At no time was it explained to me that packing items in closets and drawers was different from wrapping furniture. When the saleswoman came to my home to inspect, I told her the entire house needed to be packed. Yes, I did only choose them to pack and my expectation was the entire house. They started saying it was an insurance and liability issue one I told them I needed the furniture packed because they were not moving it and it was not part of the packing. Very poor customer service. I've had 7 military moves and I have always had everything packed. To me this is a play on words by them so they didn't have to pack everything because they were not being contracted to move the items after everything was packed. The operations staff was contacted by the crew, who were awesome, by the way, and neither I nor the crew were called back with a disposition. Then when I called the next day, they were not willing to work with me in order to pack out my entire house. Instead telling me what the moving company should be doing. .
