Move from CA to TX
This is the worst company ever, good in sales pitch. They have nothing to do with the actual move, there final (after a final count) was $1,890. They turned it to "Trig Moving and Storage" totally different story. The pick up day price (after the down payment to Star Alliance $462)
climbed to $5,000. Look for review with "Trig Moving & Storage".
Well worth company.
I'm going to take 10 minutes of my time to thank these guys for making my moving mission possible, as we all know, relocating to another state with a mid sized family and lots of furniture and belongings is not easy, ok, to make story short, I was between renting a big truck and driving up our stuff with my husband and kids, but we thought it was not only going to be hard for the kids, but the loading and unloading furniture is not easy for a husband and wife to do on their own, so we went local shopping for moving companies, and trust me, we spoke to about five different companies here in south Florida, for some reason these guys got us Not the cheapest but I would say most attractive pricing based on distance and timeframe for the amount of stuff we had to move, anyways, they got us a good size truck and staff to come pick up our stuff the morning we were schedule for, showed up on time, nice and friendly staff to load our stuff, so we finally got our stuff shipped.
They confirmed me a drop off time which they were behind with (I didn't get mad at that) because their customer service department communicated the delay, apart from that everything arrived safe, no broken items, inventory was as written and signed, so I have to say that these guys are worth moving with.
Lost all of my furniture.
This company is absolutely horrible!!
I was originally scheduled a pick up with a third party company who came on the wrong day and cursed me out because I could not be home in 20 mins.
They came without a call or notification.. Nothing!! Customer service acted as if ”this has never happened Before” and dispatched me a new vendor..
The nightmare begins
They quoted me price of 2400 only to be bait and switched with an invoices 3800 at pick up. To make things even worse, they lost all of my furniture at the warehouse!! Nobody is answering my calls or returning my emails.
I've been told several times I won't be receiving a call from a ”mike” for an entire week regarding my order and have not heard from anyone!!
This was absolute robbery! RUN FROM THESE PEOPLE!!
Worst Moving Company.
Not only are we sitting in our house when we should have been on the road moving, but the disrespect that we received from the employees and management at this company was unacceptable. We booked our move two months ago and on the scheduled day of the move, they just kept pushing our time later and later which caused us to have to pay for a whole extra month of our storage unit because they couldn't be on time. Went from 6:00am to 12:00pm then from 1:00pm to 5:00pm then they told us that they couldn't be there until until 7:30pm. Knowing our storage unit closed at 6:00 pm they never even had the courtesy to call us. No one called to let us know what was going on after asking them to please keep us informed and every time we called them they were annoyed and became very nasty and began yelling at us. (Aren't we paying you?) We asked for a credit for the inconvenience, and we would rebook for the next day and they refused. Needless to say we told them not to bother coming.
I would not even let this company move my dog from one dog house to another.
Worst experience from a moving company ever!! Don't use this company. You will be sorry.
Do not use, sketchy!!
Company took advantage of my overly trusting elderly parents. We should have realized the red flags from the start. They called out of nowhere promising a great deal. They undercut the competitors by two thirds. When it was all said and done a cause just as much if not more than the competitors. I actually spoke with the representative as to my concerns as to the companies legitimacy and low price and he had great answers for everything.
At the end of everything they charges extra for boxes, and told us that everything had to be removed from every drawer and every piece of furniture which ended up causing more space and more money. When the movers came they said this was not required. However due to the fact he was already box with her boxes they cannot open it or change the invoice. Payment was required in cash for money order only. Would not except cashiers check or bank cards. Again very sketchy
Again do not use.
Lying from start to finish.
I had a horrendous experience with Star Alliance Movers. They assured us that they were not a moving broker, but an actual moving company with their own trucks and drivers. That was a lie. All they do is lie to you over the phone about the cost and what is included, take a deposit, hire the cheapest, crappiest moving companies they can find, and then disappear offering no other help or assistance. We ended up having to pay the movers twice what Star Alliance estimated and they were late every step of the way. Star Alliance moving is a scam. You can book a moving company by yourself, there is no need to ever use this company.
Terrible.
They are not consistent they lie and movers keep pushing the dates back. They lie about dates! Don’t go with them! Still haven’t received my refund yet!!

THESE REALLY WAS THE BEST COMPANY I COULD OF WENT WITH FOR MY MOVE. THERE SALES REPS WHERE SUPER NICE & UNDERSTANDING OF MY NEEDS. VERY HAPPY WITH CHOOSEN THEM .. THE DAY OF MY MOVE THE GUYS SHOWED UP PACKED ALL MY ITEMS FOR ME WHICH HELPED ME ALOT & DISSEMBLE MY BIG ITEMS LIKE MY BED & MIRRORS WITH DRESSERS , ETC. JUST A HOLE AROUND FULL MOVE SERVICE. WILL FOR SURE USE AGAIN FOR ANY FURTURE MOVES :D.
Failure to perform service that was contracted.
Star Alliance movers has very poor customer service. I contracted for a move. Move was supposed to be Friday, then Saturday, then Sunday 10-2. Called a 2:30 and was told they would not do it. Deposit has not been returned. Stay away from this company.!!
