Worst Company.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. quoted $465 for an apartment move and charged me $1,350 when was the time of unpacking. If I would pay in adavance they would not unload MY furniture from truck. guys did an amazing job but VENEZUELAN owner do not deserve not even 1 star review. WORST company. NO USEn ESTA COMPANIA. me cotizaron $465 para mudar un apartamento, y antes de descargar mis cosas en el storage me pidieron $1350 sino no iba a descargar!! Los duenos no se merecen ni una estrella. LADRONES. por eso tienen tan pocas estrellas. igual ni les importa.. pero se los pido , no los usen, otras compania son mas honestas.
Don't use! They are crooks!
Sunset Moving and Storage Group out of Fort Lauderdale moved us to Greenville from Naples. They broke numerous items, put a foot through the garage ceiling, stole items (2 iPhones, a drone, car speakers and even my American flag). They changed their BINDING estimate to a NON BINDING estimate and wouldn’t unload the truck until I paid the increase. Their testimonials are bogus. Keep digging and you will find more like mine. They are “bait and switch” professionals. DO NOT use Sunset Moving and Storage Group under ANY circumstances!

Ron (one of the owners) doesn’t understand why customers want to know where their goods are. Oftentimes I was pushed to an answering machine for a person that isn’t working at the company. Chris the sales person even blocked my phone number.
We had to call from a different number, acting as a new customer in order to reach someone.
I gave two weeks to deliver the goods. It took them three weeks total.
Only two days before I got the information when the goods are delivered, but from the driver himself
No one at the company contacted me or followed-up. Sunrise doesn’t seem to care
Never have we received any e-mail response to anyone in the company after the goods have been picked-up till we threatened with legal action
Overcharging
BE CAREFUL ABOUT THEIR LABELING TRICKS. Jack (Ron’s partner) skipped labels in his own system. I only noticed it when unpacking that his numbers weren’t in sequence. They overcharged me for several boxes that didn’t exist.
I sent a picture of a very long item to Chris, the sales person to have it included in the initial offer. They day of the move they charged another 200 USD arguing they need to buy additional space in the truck, although it can lay on top of all items. The truck driver delivering the goods told me he never saw a single cent.
If a company needs a fraud their customers to make profit, they should not be in business
Overselling
We were sold on perfect visibility knowing where the goods are at all times.
We never got a response where they stored our goods.
Chris promised to provide us with the driver’s cell no. when the goods get picked up.
We had to threaten Sunrise with legal action just to receive the number over the phone and again being yelled at by Ron.
Read the other reviews carefully! They don’t seem to be real!
Piano.
These guys rented a lift to get my piano into the third floor balcony. two other companies were telling me to bring it up the narrow stairs. GREAT JOB ED!!
My recent moves.
This is the second time I have had the opportunity to work with Sunset Moving in the last 6 months. They sent out different crews for each of the jobs and every one of them was a pleasure to work with. Great attitudes and totally professional.
My first move included a nightmare with another moving company and was actually on "Help Me, Howard." Edgar and his staff changed a horrific experience into a job very well done.
I honestly would not even consider using another moving company.. Sunset is simply the best I have ever dealt with.

I cannot say enough about this moving company. I was very apprehensive about picking a moving company based on my previous experiences. Edgar came for an estimate and re-quoted me several times because my options changed. My place was 4 months late and he kept calling me making sure I was ok and when the time came, the movers was there on time and moved me in no time. María , "my personal contact" kept calling me during the move. I have never received such great service. Would recommend sunset Moving and Storage highly.
Great Expierence.
I used their services last week for my move to Boca Raton. They arrived at my home right as scheduled.As soon as they got to my home they began working. They are were professional during the whole move. Took great care of my items. I have used different moving companies in the past, and none of them were as professsional and wonderful as Sunset Moving was. I was very satisfied with their services, and I would indeed use them again. I will recommend them to those that are moving.

I was extremely satisfied with the service. They are very professional and they handles my furniture with care. The came right on time as well. I will definitely use their services in the future. I have moved quite often and went for other companies that weren't as good as sunset moving and storage group. For those looking for a moving company you should definitely should them you can't go wrong.
Excellent Service.
We hired Sunset Moving to move our large pieces of furniture to our new apt. in the next town. They arrived in time and the three workers made short work of the move. They were friendly and extremely professional, and took extra precautions to ensure the furniture and walls were not damage, the came preparedand cover all the furniture to protect them and I was impressed. It was clear they took their work seriously, and I would DEFINITELY use them again. It is so difficult to get reliable service in the South Florida area at a reasonable price. Sunset! a good moving company.
We moved 2 years ago from NY to Florida, a horrible experience with The Red Lion Moving Company; broken furniture, extra charges, foul language, etc. A complete nightmare.
After 2 years residing in Florida we needed to move again, but with our prior traumatic experience we knew it was going to be hard to find the right moving company. So we read a lot of reviews in the Internet until we decided for Sunset Moving. Reviews this time helped us greatly.
We recommend Sunset Moving & Storage Company based in South Florida, with no reservations. Reasonable priced, reliable and composed by a good professional team of movers. Just call Edgar and you will know you are in the best possible hands in this hard to find decent people field.

I am glad we chose Sunset Movers over one of the 'big guys" (ie. national chains). We moved a 4 bdr house; it was a large move. I was a bit hesitant because the price was lower with Sunset (than the national chain) and I wondered if the service would not be as good. I was very pleasantly surprised! Not only was the team on time and professional, honest, and hard-working, they were also very personable, and with flexibility and responsiveness to meet our needs. Edgar managed to preserve our move with all our requirements, even though I had to change the date one week ahead of time. The team packed our items as well (for a separate fee). Then, they picked up our empty boxes following the move, which was a huge help for us. I have no problem recommending the company in the highest terms. Very happy customer and glad I went with Sunset. .
Amazing Service.
Absolutely incredible experience. I've done many moves, local and cross state; Edgar and his team truly "tookt the cake" in being far superior to all others; he was incredible in all aspects of the move. I'm VERY PLEASED. Would definitely use his moving company again, in a heartbeat.

We are so pleased with the very professional, friendly, and effcient service of Sunset Moving. We spoke with Edgar after getting our quote and he was very helpful in arranging everything we needed, he even confirmed and made sure we had no question over a holiday! They arrived and were lightning fast and so efficient with loading and unloading it was completed before we knew it (gave them a tip for their hard work!).They get big thumbs up from and we HIGHLY reccommend using them. Edgar and his team were extremely professional, courteous, and timely. He was very accommodating and was able to pick up my move at the time I needed and delivered it exactly on the promised delivery time. He and his team are very professional. They even cleaned the items when they delivered them. They were also extremely friendly and very skilled. I would highly recommend this company and will certainly use them for future transport. 100% satisfied!
